Had a lovely full English breakfast it was delicious lovely to see everyone again

Unfortunately, despite the fact that the food was great, the welcoming by a waitress wasnt the best, what made us stay was the super friendly older gentlemen who looked like the manager.We called to make an appointment for 8 people, it was told to us that it had to be 2 separate tables of 4, but no problem.When we arrived the two tables reserved for us were preety close together so we nicely asked to put them together, the manager was wondering if it was possible because of the space for the waiters to pass behind us, but the space was big enough even for two people, so everything was fine by him.But when the younger guy who picked up the phone (who looks like the sonsaw it, completely snapped saying it was not possible because he explicitly told us the tables had to be separate, and saying we were "forcing him" to put the tables together, when clearly there was more than enough room for both tables.He was talking on a disrespectful tone when there was no reason for it, but he soon after left and obviously everything was fine by the friendly manager, so we decided to stay.🐟 Now for the actual review: the food was really good and fast to arrive, the deserts were amazing, the size matches the price which is hard to find!The prices also were also surprising duo to the fact that the restaurant is right behind the Beach

Food amd price are awesome

We decided to stop for lunch following a morning at the beach after walking from praia da Rocha. The menu offered variety at a very good price. We were greeted by the lovely owner who was English, but we heard him speak to several customers in their native languages. He was both welcoming and friendly.We ordered a burger, spicy lamb pitta, omelette and toastie. All were fresh, delicious and just what we were looking for to meet fussy family needs!If we are in the area again we will definitely go back.

Terrible rude service. If you are looking for attentive pleasant serving staff run a mile. Made to feel completely unwelcome by old lady who I think was the manager and young whipper snapper waiter who kept ignoring us

Very nice restaurant. We went there two times and it was perfect every time. Sangria is the best we ever tasted. We tried 6 different dishes and 3 desserts and all were delicious. Food is very well cooked and we appreciated the service so much. Very warm people. We recommend this place.

Very good staff,good drink and food prices

Situated near a beautiful beach you enjoy excellent menu out or indoor. The hosts are lovely multi lingual. The good value and relaxed ambiance makes the visit a very enjoyable experience which took us back there three times during our holiday. Free local parking into the bargain. All not to be missed.

It took an hour to recieve my ribbs, when it came it felt like it was just taken from the freezer. I asked the waiter (who was very busy and pleasantto get it warmed for me, I got it in about 10 mins. When it came it was still freezing. I do not recommend.

Service ok but food need improval.Our dourata was too cooked and not at all something would repeat.Clean and close to the beach.

Fair price for good quality, close to the beach on the west end. Parking can be a bit difficult.

We have been coming to Praia do Vau for the past 6 years every September. This is one of our regular haunts whilst we are there and the food and service is excellent. Very reasonable prices too.

Really well priced & prime location by the beach. The owners are incredibly friendly & always happy to chat. We visited this place on day 2 of our holiday & after that experience, we went there every single day for breakfast. The pancakes are amazing!

We ordered milkshakes and hamburgers with fries. The shakes and fries were alright but the hamburger was dry and tough. I wouldnt recommend the ham or cheeseburgers. The service was very friendly.

Lovely place right next to the beach with amazing staff. Food was delicious as well! The bar made you feel special. They even took a reservation during the world cup despite of having lots of people coming around to watch the live events. Would highly recommend the restaurant!

Myself and the Mrs. Were on a stroll along the walkways overlooking Praia do vau when we stumbled across what i can only describe as a gem of the Algarve.We stopped outside at the menu board and were promptly met by the owner a well mannered and polite gentleman who enquired as to where we were from and if we were looking for a meal or snack and continued to inform us of the many drinks and the promotion of a pint of sagres for only €1.50. Just on his charm alone we were sold.We were invited to take a seat and told hed be with us shortly with menus. This man is the up most perfect example of exceptional service he was able to entertain all customers and tables at once making sure all your requirements were met while in addition exchanging polite conversation and jokes with all customers.The food arrived looking mouth watering and just as described in the menu.On using the toilet facilities we were both astounded by the cleanliness of the facilitiesIt was a pleasure to eat at this restaurant and we can definitely say that we will be returning customers

Good service, good food. I can really recommend the fresh fish! But whatever you go for, start with the mushroom-starter!!!Even glutenfree if you ask for it, so its safe for people with Coeliacs.

Rip off and very rude lady running the place. Went here for breakfast, and got charged way over the top,€25 is a disgrace to charge for a bit of breakfast and the ignorant woman running it is after your money and will try and rip you off. Be carefull of what u order and cost if you go here but i would never return
