Wonderful family experience. The staff were excellent from the initial greeting to managing our experience. The meal was exceptional. What’s stood out for me was the experience. 5 stars. Great family memories were made.

Met my lovely friend from ennis today, food was lovely, they were very busy but we didnt mind as we were chatting. We did feel they were anxious for us to leave as they kept coming back to take away our cups and then our glasses I suppose we had out stayed our welcome!!!!

Iv had better nights here .lets just say the courtyard is nice for a drink but i wont be eating outdoors here again.

Stopped here for a quick break traveling from Kerry to Galway. Had tasty deserts. Good kids menu for deserts- only 3 euro each. Word search and colouring provided for kids also. Dinner menu looked good too. Great service and place was spotless and spacious.

We visited JP Clarkes for lunch on Saturday the 30th July 2022. All the staff were very pleasant, and as ever the presentation of the dishes was top class.

There is a place for everyone in this world.. JP Clarkes is like an island of which you can enjoy food with your friends or on your own.. Perfect dinners for the 4 of us. Price is good highly reccomend but reservations I would reccomend. Service was perfect.

Lovely food and excellent service. All staff were friendly and courteous.Thought it was busy for a Wednesday at 7pm! ......and there was a nice "atmosphere " about the place!I had the Indian Butter Chicken main corse....delicious!....and a couple of pints of the 0.0 Guiness draught !Couldnt praise the staff enough! 🙌

5 stars for the super friendly service provided by all staff I encountered! I stopped by on my way through the area and enjoyed dinner and a few drinks. I left very happy to have found this cosy bar/restaurant. Definitely worth a visit!

Everything about JP Clarke was excellent - restaurant, food, staff, quality and value for money. I would go again without any difficulty and all my family thought so too.

Our B&B had recommendet the JP Clarkes for Dinner, and he was totally right. It was so delicious!The Mussels just amazing!In waiting time we found so many details around in this Place.

Food was just all right. I ordered a medium to well steak and it arrived medium, quite bloody.I ate it as such. I had a long day at work and was pretty hungry at that point. I work in the tourist industry. The restaurant was really noisy. The music way too loud causing diners to raise their voices to be heard. The wait staff were just lovely. Very friendly and attentive. I would definitely give them five stars. Apart from that I was not impressed, relaxing it was not, couldn’t wait to leave.

Nice looking restaurant, I just went in for a couple of beers not really a bar but a few seats available to just drink.

Gluten free option was very poor and the seafood plate was very little for 20 euro. Very disappointing.

Very enjoyable. Service was much faster than expected. Excellent food, great whiskey menu. The smoked trout was superb. Dependable pub fare but outstanding preparation and presentation, good bargain. Server was friendly and helpful. Furnishings comfortable and high quality. Recommended

Superb steak: very well seasoned with a tasty sauce and sides. The desserts are to live for! Warm brownie with ice cream had the perfect balance of temperature and flavour. White chocolate one was also delicious, nice contrast to the passion fruit sorbet. Cosy atmosphere and good service. Staff asked for vaccination certificate from both my husband and I, which was also a plus for us.

We have been going to JP Clarkes for over 10 years. It has always been consistent. Work function, parties or just for a meal its always been excellent. Stand out was 3 years ago my partner and inlaws were stuck at the bus stop when a storm hit, the staff came across with umbrellas offering to help them with luggage into shelter while I went to pick them up.

Had excellent meal here last night. We were a table of 6 and the food was delicious, the salmon, fish and chips and burger all come highly recommended as does the sticky pudding and brownie. Great night had by all and the service was friendly and efficient too. Highly recommend it

Went for a Saturday lunch with wife and kids. Staff lovely, very friendly and outdoor/indoor dining was grand except when the heaters were put on and it 17° outside the plastic.The vegetarian option main, Veg curry nothing else. €13.50 for a very small bit of rice and some cauliflower, peppers and a sprig of broccoli. Very poor.

My family and I had a very pleasant dining experience which was made all the more memorable by the treatment and respect afforded to our elderly relative and twin babies. Jamie and his staff were more than accommodating and we are grateful. Food was also superb.

We enjoyed fish and chips here as well as a fresh and healthy burger. Lovely chunky chips and did cooked well. Service also good but setting / standard not quite special enough for five stars. A good quality provider of pub food.

The service was very efficient and pleasant .food was nice, all the staff were wearing masks and there were dividers and barriers between each table. Took contact number from us. Definitely recommend stopping for food there.

Excellent food, super service. Greeted warmly within seconds. Lovely outdoor seating. The Patê with plum sauce on sourdough amazing, and lots of fresh breads offered. Two of our party had the pork and apple steak which made for an incredible meal. Good kids options. Excellent menu. The service is especially good. Attentive, warm and an all round excellent experience.
