JJ's SEAFOOD VILLAGE - in Tagbilaran City, Philippines
homemade cooking, affordably priced, fully airconditioned. orders are served piping hot. and oh, make sure to inform service crew not to add too much sugar on their citrus drinks. i find it too sweet for my taste.
Accomodating and friendly staff. Good food is already given.
I love the food and the service.
Nice place nice food good place for barkadas or friend to stay
Good place with relaxing ambience. Good food.
Nice place but you should have money ...the witer is asking for his TIP..πππ’
they have polite and friendly staff. we love their pancit and sandwich. just a suggestion to have also set meals.
The fried bread and dimsum choices are good. They have platters/bilao thats affordable. The rest of the food is just OK. Waiting time is quite long. We had the steamed fish that we decided to take away because it took 45mins before it was ready. Luckily theres siomai and siopao readily available
Most of their food is unavailable during our time of visit. We dont ask why, coz we all know the effects of typhoon odette. Still the food is good.Since the entire Province is totally black out they offer us free charge for our mobile phones and power banks -thanks to that!π€
The food are good and the area where we had our activity is nice and clean. It is spacious
ambiance and place is nice, but standard room need some make over
Wifi di ka connect. Food was ok, probably i was expecting too much pero dili makawow ang taste
My nieces wedding. Well, i cant really tell if the food is from JJs or from the organizers package.I tasted their cafe latte and tastes good. Venue overall was fine. One of the few opened this pandemic.
This is where we had our wedding last December 2020 and it was great! They had a good accomodations. This is a nice place to held special occasions.
A simple comfortable place where you can just celebrate family events. The place has a parking lot, foods are okay but the staff are great. People there are very helpful and friendly. Its a place where you can just to without worrying about anything else.
Was served a not so good smelling beef tinola. The waiter/waitress eventually wrote off the complained dish in our bill.
It has great view towards Dauis. but I love the pool. Staffs are nice.
Very nice place! Very affordable for gatherings! They have friendly and accommodating staffs..Clean place πππ
Its a very nice place with friendly staff. I was there for a business meeting and was impressed.
Its main buildings keep getting a face lift, one renovation after another. The overall place where this "seafood village" stood is getting more and more crowded with all the new buildings/structures sprouting around. It is starting to feel suffocating even if you are outside any of its events halls. Parking areas are also a mess, like there is no plan. Despite the series of changes, its aesthetic or interior design is clashing. And one thing that remains unchanged is their foodβit is so lifeless, bland, and sad-looking.
Nice seafood restaurant conveniently located on the Knights of Columbus Pier Road but more importantly, this local seafood restaurant seems to be a very popular venue for a large variety of area events, seminars and other assorted meetings...
Booked on such short notice and got a nice room. Good lighting, spacious, comfortable bed, away from the main road. Overall, it was a good nights sleep.I recommend dropping by at Passiflora Cafe and just help yourself with their coffee. Bought one of their mochas and it made my sunday a whole lot better. Cheers!
Wide space for every event, there is parking area
Meeting venue is ok. Sound system is fine. They need to update their toilet system. Dirty and smelly
Theyve got good place to have seminars and any events. With pool to refresh. A good place to stay in. I love the vicinity, the staff and the service as well- recommended.
Had our conference here. Rooms are tolerable. Bathrooms are old. Theres wifi but theres no internet. The worst part is the food. For 250php a plate, they give you small servings and the food is just average. The only positive in this place is customer service. They respond to complaints right away. I will not recommended this place to anyone.
They have function halls, rooms, swimming pool for kids and adults. The food was OK though
The food are tasty - grilled fish, pork, squid, vegetables yet at a very friendly.price. Try their boodle fight menu served in a bilao. Really good esp. for those who want to try the Boholano/ Visayan taste.
The food was ok, but like most of the food in the philipines it lacked a depth of flavour. It was really big and we were the only customers and were massively outnumbered by the staff. The crispy prawns were the best dish. IT was entire prawns which was a shock, but they were tast even the legs and head. The steamed fish was nice but a tad bland. The scallops were again good but not great. As ever really good value for money. Overall good but not amazing.
The place is good for people celebrating their birthdays, graduation, and meeting. The foods are so delicious. I just like the fried shrimp and kalamares.
Overall we just wanted some fish after a workout so we figured this was the spot. If you are visiting town I would avoid this spot. There are way better places. The food was not very good but most of all it was very expensive. You can get much higher quality for much cheaper. The service was poor. They also said it was sharing portions which would have explained the prices... Itβs not. Just go to Gerardaβs or Alfresco. Muuuuuch better.
They have function halls. They also serve catering services
good food but waited long for the food to be served.
Such a good venue for gatherings, small or big. The food is good and also the service. It got also a good view from the pool.ππππ
Very hospitable people. Great food! A++
It took some time for the food to come out. But it surely paid off when you finally could enjoy the tasty food. The ambiance is just nice and cozy. Staffs are also friendly. For the prices, they are standard just like other restaurants. This is one of the restaurants you should try when visiting Bohol.
Yummy siomai & you should order their specialty "PANCIT LAURIAT"
The Conference Room was well lighted, commendable sound system, and very good aircondition units that despite of the swell in the attendance we were still comfortable. They have facilitative staff and interns. I also noted that the manager was hands - on during our conference.I am not sure though if how long was the establishment existing but maybe they can make enhancements in the landscape outside the venue and additional modern touches in the facility.Although, generally I had positive experience during our 2nd PHILAMCOP Visayas Cluster Conference.
Been here a couple of times, all for work-related stay-ins. Rooms are just fine, pretty basic. There is a restaurant and and a cafe on site. Havent tried the restaurant, just the cafe which sells varied and delicious drink options. Food served during our stay were delicious. The TV in our room didnt have a remote control, however since Im not really a TV person, that was fine. The amenities (function roomslook pretty old.
Few minutes from the airport and they serve good food.
We had our company training held here at jjs , the conference rooms were ok, there were two air conditioning but the other one is broken, food served were ordinary nothing special, and there were rarely seafoods (they shouldnt have named thier restaurant jjs seafood village if they rarely serve seafoods).. the accommodations is bad, first we were supposed to check in 2pm but we waited 4 hours till 6pm- yes 4 hours...and the beds, were to our disgust, full of bedbugs, but the staff sprayed it with lysol (i didnt know lysol could kill bugs but it somehow worked). The bathroom is also bad, they have very slow running water and there is no ventilation. On the good side..the staff were pretty accomodating i would have given it a one star if it wasnt because of the staff. The location of the hotel is convenient, its near the pier about a 100 meters away.Their deluxe rooms are priced at 1500, and they have a standard room (good for 2which if im not mistaken priced at 850.
Good for conferences or large meetings... The Sinuglao supposedly is a combination of a fish ceviche and grilled pork. But what we got is a ceviche with fried pork... But the Pansit Laureat is tasty!
One of the popular go-to places for wedding receptions, debuts, conventions & any event that has a lot of people. The food is bland & tasteless but affordable package. The unsmiling & somewhat rude waitstaff need to be trained on better customer relations.
Budget friendly but not all items on the menu are always available and the food server that served us was not polite when there were discrepancies noticed in our orders
Pancit + fried bread = gastronomic heaven! Plus, the coffee shop makes great coffee!
Foods are good and abundant. The place is nice as well.
It was our worst exprience, so far. Poor service and quality of food. We havent eaten almost everything because the food looks pale and ordinary. Prices are expensive, but the food is not good. And one more thing, there are flies flying around the area, to think it was close and the room is airconditioned. πβΉοΈ
The food they serve are nice and sumptuous. The ambiance of the venue is nice. However, they have to improve in training their staff for courtesy and customer care. They should see to it that customer satisfaction comes first before anything else.
They serve delicious food but quite ordinary. Dormitory rooms should be renovated as well, really looks so old. Bedsheets and towels too should be replaced for new one.
We just ate there a while ago and it is the most disgusting and horrific experience here in tagbilaran. First of all the place is so gloomy. And we ordered our food. First is our birds nest soup with quail eggs. Unfortunately it also has insect on the soup and i already took 2 spoonful when i saw the insect. And we are so furious that we called for the manager but the staff said that they have no manager at that time (around 7-8pmbecause he/she went home so we called for any one that we can talk regarding this issue. And a supervisor came over in where her only solution to the problem is scratch off the soup and not to pay with it. Secondly we ordered lumpiang shanghai in where on our first bite we taste rancid meat we also complained about it and was asking for the chef to come over but to no avail and their answer is just it is just their recipe( so their recipe was to serve rancid meatlastly we also ordered spare ribs with black beans in where the meat was also rancid and taste awful. So we did not finish our meal and just pay the bill in full with no solutions or compensation frim the management. Hopefully you will not eat here anymore for those that can read my review of this horrible place.
