Fantastic food & service

Very expensive, average food and if the staff smiled their faces would crack. Not a great experience. Wont be back.

Excellent service. Main course was lovely.I ordered ice cream sundae for dessert. Was given jelly & ice cream.I am in my 60s not 6 !

Absolutely fantastic!!! Sunday lunch. Roast beef with the trimmings, and reasonably priced.

Amazing food great atmosphere

Very nice place to eat in. The staff are very friendly and nice to chat with. It has a very homely feeling about the place.

Nice local bar, plenty of parking with off-licence. Good selection of beer & pub grub.

I would consider tipplers my local so im probably biased but its serves good food has a great bar ive never had any problems with the staff there also dog friendly which for me is awsome

Food great,waiter tops, food could be quicker but worth waiting for.

Popped in for a few beers, staff had some leftover sausages so made us a few hotdogs - pleasant and welcome suprise.👍👍👍

JD Tipler as always 5 service and cuisine. The menu is well planned out with amazing food to cater for every need. As a family this is always our restaurant of choice. The staff are always welcoming and eager to please. I myself can highly recommend the chicken goujons with sweet chilli dip and champ. My husband loves the array of food and swaps between steak sandwiches, burgers, fish and chips, garlic fries etc everything is just mouth watering and the portions are always suitable for those of us who enjoy our food 😋 😉. My son loves his dinner and has had I think everything on the childs menu and is always unsure what he wants as he loves everything. The desserts are heavenly and regardless as to how full we are we just cant help but treat ourselves. These coupled with the many choices of coffees and teas certainly are the perfect end to any meal.

Brilliant wee spot in Portadown. Not a regular per say but food always hits the spot and staff always helpful.

Lovely food and friendly staff.

Nice place for a good family time. Music isnt too loud. The food is served piping hot which adds to the taste and it came within few minutes of ordering. Id certainly go to this place once again for a lovely evening.

Very health conscious and clean. We always are looked after by the staff who treat each customer with respect and care. I would rank them as first class in the field of pubs!

Friendly staff, clean and tidy. A good selection of beers to go with the pub/steakhouse grub. I tried the steak burger which was fine and enjoyed a rather nice apple and caramel cake for dessert. Not life changing but Id happily eat there again

13 of us for a birthday party yesterday, service and staff excellant, food terrific and brillant value for money. My husband and I eat here occasionally as well, it is a great place for small or large numbers, definitely recommend.

Tiplers have reached a goal that most restaurants would like to have , full house and more arriving .food was of a good standard , what impressed me was the service staff well turned out blessant and professional good not do enough.Well worth another visit .

Tipers food never disappoints, curry is always amazing. But staff where very unpleasant and made us feel very unwelcome from when we stepped through the door. If it wasn’t for the bar man on tonight I don’t think I’d be back again. He was lovely and friendly. Very disappointed as love this wee place

We booked my husbands surprise 30th birthday meal at Tipplers for last night. There was a party of 11 and everything went as smooth as it could have possibly went. The staff were very attentive and our meals were absolutely delicious. Not one person from the party of 11 could say anything negative about their time at Tipplers. Thank you for a great night! We will definitely be back.

Hadnt been here in a year. Cause we were disappointed with meal and service.Thought we would give them a ring today asked them had they free table, politely they said come on ahead. From we went in through the door the service and food was second till none.Will most definitely be back..We went to this back in the day when it was called the killicomaine Inn on a weekly basis.

Good food at a reasonable price only thing I will say is if you dont ask for a side they will not ask you so you wont get one even tho on menu it states side included

Pretty poor if Im brutally honest, we went at 7pm on the back end of a hot day and it was still like an oven inside with not much ventilation and no ceiling fans.Staff dont seem to coordinate themselves with tables, I had 3 different people ask me if I was ready to order in the space of 1 minute!...erm no, no and not yet.Finally food was quite over cooked as if it was just left on heat whilst waiting for othersInside it does look nice and has an old fashioned theme with loads of wood but I left a bit disappointed after reading other reviews.

Well well well... Is this the best steak house or what?The prices are good for the portions.I had the tastiest pepper sauce I ever had in my life so far. And the steak... Good LORD... I like my meat cooked crisp! Border line CHARRED!For the first time, today June 26, 2021 a chef cooked my steak right. The last bite of the steak soaked in the pepper sauce with a crispy and juicy finish brought tears to my eyes.Sweeeeet Jonny, what have you gotten me into 😰.I wanted some hot sauce but they did not have Chahs Hot Sauce it would have brought down heaven to earth.Now I am seriously considering moving to this little town if this is how the food is.

I have been coming here for 20 years ...the atmosphere is always good. The food over the years has been hit and miss and I do think its pricey for basic pub grub. Saying that.. the portions are quite big and when its good its good!

Went here for lunch on 1st June and had an absolutely fantastic meal. The staff were great, really friendly and the service was top notch. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Collected an online order from off sales. Staff were friendly helpful and my order was well boxed up and ready waiting. Great choice of all brands available in the shop, lovely gift ideas as well for sale. Highly recommend and look forward to all my future orders/collections

Place and staff lovely. Food was terrible. Frozen and premade food . Two of my table guests had upset stomach both had different food. I left half of mine do did my daughter. Such a shame as the place itself is top.food swimming in grease. Avoid garlic fries

Relaxing atmosphere, very friendly staff, food was stunning, Sirloin steak cooked to perfection. Really highly recommended for a relaxing family meal. Kids menu was fantastic. Good value for money. Dessert was beaut.

Friendly and attentive staff. A good meal, well presented. All in all a nice place for a bite to eat.

Food can be hit or miss, with temperature or portions but on most of the occasions I have eaten here it was been a good experience. Would recommend.
