Delicious food. Good service. Fun experience

Sad and unfortunate to see how everything is neglected. The fresh produce was rotting (overripe very bruised avocados, mouldy oranges, etc...which is not sellable. More than half of the drinks on the menu isnt available. Upholstery of the chairs is ripped and dirty; the wooden legs are uneven and rotting, which is unsafe. We decided to rather get or food to go. The table was dirty and hadnt been wiped down in ages. The pizzas are poor quality (not properly topped as specified on the menuand the worst was that it had to be returned as there was a rat dropping in one of the boxes. Our family will not return after years of support.

Love it here. Always friendly staff and they go out of their way. Best roosterbrood Ive had in a long time and value for money. Kids have a great time here and the guests are easy going.

Im each time amazed at how the children are entertained at Jankan farmstall. I absolutely love the fact that the animals walk freely and that it teaches the children how to treat animals.

Fresh fruit and vegetables. They have a picnic venue and also Picardi Guest farm has chalets to rent. Beautiful venue for weddings or functions too.

Lovely farm kitchen. Down to earth people and fun for kids of all ages with outdoor play and animals to pet. Roosterkoek is yummy. Pizzas are the best ever had!

Friendly staff, great quality products, the best roosterkoek and pizza. The farm setup withe the petting zoo is great for the children. Being on the edge of town takes you from city life to plaas in 50m.

I was not impressed maybe the place was to busy it was overcrowded no tables to sit at what shocked me the most there was no one at the entrance no hand sanitizer no social distancing no masks on any one we did jig stay the pony that my granddaughter wanted you ride was tired and not a spring chicken any more the place was not clean at all and not enough staff on duty

Worst experience ever. Waited 2 h for food. Orders were wrong even though I had to right the order down ne for them. Kids couldnt play with equipment as was hired out for private parties. Such a disappointment.

Nice farm feel , clean and the food was excellent, extremely impress with their breakfast, great value for money .

No doubt the place is beautiful and lots of activities to keep the kiddies occupied but the restaurant was a let down. After an hour or so after weve ordered our pizzas, we had to ask twice for it and when it finally came, it didnt have feta on. Would not have been so bad if they communicated that they have run out to us but no word from any staff member. The pricing on the pickled figs was also wrong and they just said they work with the price on the system not what is displayed on the item and we had to pay more.

Luv to take the kids there....lots of fun things 4 them to do, I took my bike wth and enjoy cycling around the beautiful scenery.

Excellent for everyone. Kids will enjoy fun and animals, while adults eat and watch the kids play, great entertainment, great food and just relax end enjoy the view. Friendly staff and great way to meet new people.

The perfect place to take your child. The experience was relaxing and the vibe is also nice. Would definitely suggest it for a break away.

Wonderful place for parents and children with lots do do. Bring your bicycles and your walking shoes. Beautiful place for sight seeing and playing.

A really great place for families, with horse rides and farm animals for the kids. Great food and vibe. However, the enforcement of COVID regulations is lacking, with most people not wearing masks, not keeping physical diatances and no visible control of number of people visiting the tented area.

Best outdoor entertainment venue for kids in the Paarl. Excellent roosterkoek. Reasonably priced menu. Plenty of farm animals around the yard. Hearty farm food served.

Ultimate relaxation for mommies whilst kiddies play. Enjoy a cappuccino or Milkshake and order great pizzas or a salad. Loved it.

A must when you are visiting in Paarl. This little farmstall bring rural back to Paarl. Its a fun place for adult and child alike. My 1st born started horseback riding here when he was just over 1 year. Their animals are all extremely tame and love children. The great dane; Jan is a family favourite and he always makes a turn at our table (i think every table therewhenever we around. In the summer months they have a slippery slide for the children. There is more than enough to entertain the kids. From dogs, to goats, pigs, chickens, horses, a zipline and jungle gym. You can easily spend 3 hours there without knowing it. Food are great and our favourite is the roosterkoek. We also buy farm fresh organic lamb from Jan Kan.

Farm setting with free roaming and camped animals for your kids education. Friendly staff. Fresh roosterkoek with a wide variety of toppings. Do try the boerewors & smoor option! The coffee on offer could be improved on.

Loved it! Waterslide for kids during the hot days, and enjoyed a wonderful movie under the stars for Valentines day.

A great place to visit for craft beer, pizza and roosterkoek. Kids can feed animals, ride horses or quad bikes. Also nice spot for birthdays

It probably should get a two star rating because it is very rough and rustic but we just loved it, with animals walking around while we eat. My son says that we should give it a 4 star rating. Very plain meals but we enjoyed it and certainly plan to visit again!

Great for a relaxing day outside in the shade. Kids can have a blast on the jungle gym, play with Jankans two beautiful, massive and kid loving dogs. There is also horse riding, many cute animals to look at and a lovely hiking trail to enjoy. You can also buy organic fruit and vegetables for a bargain along with souvenirs, items for your kitchen and some funky and unique Jankan handbags and other bags😁

Wonderful place to get together for the whole family!

We enjoyed the visit and the guy that handles the horses are brilliant. He really cares for the horses and the kids and has very good customer interaction. He introduce the child to the horse before riding and ask the horse permission and explains everything that is going to happen to the child and horse. I thnk his name is Kanya. Just brilliant!
