Sushi is not sushi though? Its more of a fusion.. Ive seen nicer presentation in tesco. Cannot believe the ratings on this, shows that people here really dont know their food

Sushi is the size of callaway golf balls. I have no idea what is going on with their food but it is not authentic. It does not taste good. The shop is the size of a tuck shop and the hygiene is questionable. Honestly speaking, Yo sushi have better quality sushi

Amazing service and delicious food. Just went for The first time this evening and really enjoyed everything. The lads preparing the food were brilliant and very kind. Youll need to order online at their website whether you dine in or takeaway. Its quite small, but they have one booth and some seats at the counter if you want to dine. Hope to go back to try more 😊

The worse sushi I have ever had. Im a sushi freak and I had sushi from authentic Japanese restaurants, fusion ones in Dubai and Korea. And this is by far the worse sushi ever. The rice is not sushi rice at all. Big chunks of cucumber with no authenticity of sushi. Taste is bland.

A small Sushi place in Aberdeen town area. Sashimi and Sushi was delicious and fresh. I could taste a little fusion element in the Sushi but overall it was tasty and presentable. The service was great! Food was reasonable priced.Only take out option was available at the time of writing.

First time customer at JWs and we are very impressed. The crunchy tiger roll, futomaki and two other rolls were all fantastic. Unfortunately we dont live in Aberdeen so cant get this sushi all the time but we will definitely go back next time we are here.

Highly recommend. We actually passed when they were closing so went in in the off chance. Another order had come through so we were able to order too. The 2 men that were on that night were very helpful and friendly. The rolls were delicious. Will be back!!

First of all, the cooks are very nice and friendly and it is a shame that this is mostly a negative review. Cannot speak of the other food, but sushi are not the greatest. I honestly dont know why this place is rated at almost 5 stars, maybe because there is no competition in Aberdeen. I really hope JW Sushi gets better.+ Friendly staff.- Sushi have weird shapes and fall apart.- The sides of the roll that are usually disposed or sold at the reduced price at other places are part of the portion here.- The taste is below average. Sushi are inconsistent.- Greatly overpriced for what you get.

In my opinion, JWs is BY FAR the best sushi in Aberdeen! Tiny place but super-fresh and honestly-priced sushi, the Salmon Sashimi is just... incredible! Love the Unicorn Rolls too. Impeccable level of courtesy and service from the guys at the bar. Always looking forward to my next visit!

Great sushi place. Fresh made sushi, good selection of traditional and modern styles. You can sit at the bar and watch the chefs or sit at the (onlytable. They don’t serve alcohol. Definitely a step above the “standard” sushi fare without being crazy expensive.

Picked up a large sushi platter to take away. Selection was great and they even packaged it in a way that was easy to carry. They explained what each roll was and had separated the veggie rolls out so they werent mixed in with the fish. They all tasted great.My only suggestion is that they try to replace some of their plastic packaging with more sustainable materials (palm leaf dishes are an option!).Highly recommended to all sushi lovers.

Best place in Aberdeen by far to get sushi everythings made to order and not packed with rubbish, owners are very friendly and accommodating.If you want something thats not on menu and they arent too busy and able to accommodate your request they are more than willing

I had the Miso Soup, so salty and tasty, I also had the Tokyo Sushi over rice it contains all kinds of fish, I really loved it.

The BEST place to have sushi in Aberdeen! Their menu is filled with many sushi options from maki, temaki, nigiri and even sashimi! They had a selection of fish from tuna, salmon, smoked salmon, unagi and even king prawns.I highly recommend the unagi roll (8 large pieces). Its a roll with eel, cucumber and avocado.Another roll I recommend is the mixed selection futomaki/uramaki (8 large pieceswhere you get to try any combination of seafood you like. I ordered the salmon, smoked salmon, tuna and king prawns futomaki. From there you can decide which roll you like and order a single kind futomaki/uramaki.I also highly recommend the Philadelphia roll which is a roll with cream cheese, peppers, cucumber, smoked salmon rolled in rice and fish roe.But any roll you order will be delicious. I am looking forward to go back again!Keep in mind that the place is very small and seats about 14 people for the whole restaurant. Its a very Japanese style as well. This gives the sushi chefs time to prepare your sushi and youll be able to interact with them while they make your sushi. They are super friendly and nice people. JW sushi is from their names John and William. The service was quick. Everything was amazing!

Very tasty and freshly made food. Very affordable for sushi which is hard to find these days. First time I can say Ive been full from sushi. Organisation was a bit jumbled but expected for a small restaurant. They were out of some ingredients but many options to pick from.

I personally consider this place to have the best sushi in Aberdeen at such a reasonable price. I couldnt stay away from here even if I tried. The staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is wonderful. If you love sushi this is a must!

Oh wow!!! This is now my favorite restaurant in Aberdeen! The food is fresh, tasty and the way they serve it, it is like an art piece! Highly recommended for Japanese food. It’s also reasonably priced. The restaurant is very small and cozy and always busy even with takeaways. A definitely MUST go if you love Japanese food.

Did tastes very authentic. Bare in mind I dont eat fish, so I only tasted the chicken option and the dumplings. Everything else was fish. Oh, and the cucumber of course!I got the impression its mostly take away that they do, but there is pleasant seating areas for about 10 people if youd rather eat in.Its "open kitchen" and the place was very clean, tidy and pleasant.

Great wee sushi bar, high quality with reasonable prices and good service and atmosphere! They have a table that can seat approx 6 and stools around the bar. You can book if you wish as some nights it can get very busy, or take away.

Yummy and fresh sushi made in front of you. Some interesting and delicious combinations of maki rolls and salmon sashimi like butter. A new favourite place to eat with a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The sushi set is massive with wide range of different choices. We enjoyed our time there so much! The place is really small. We came in a group of 10 and the owner let us book the whole place as "our party". That was fantastic how he dealed with the situation. He also brought us a complimentary dish as a bonus to the order that we make!!!! Each piece is bigg (not the biggest Ive experienced but still BIG!!!). You will be satisfied with your time here if youre usually afraid that sushi cant be filling.However, if youre really knowledgeable about sushi, you may want to taste twice to check whether the taste of rice is correct 😝
