זהו מקום מדהים.כפר קטן, משפחתי, מתקופת ההתנחלות, מרוחק ממרכזי הישוב, ובכל זאת מישהו ידע במקום הזה לכתוב !הישוב ננטש לקראת קרב אבן העזר, שהתחולל כנראה בעמק מתחת לגבעה, ובכך הישוב ניצל ולא נשרף.כאן נלקח לוח הברית בשבי, נהרגו 30 אלף לוחמים עבריים וגם בניו של עלי הכהן. האירוע מסמל תחילת השעבוד (שהתבטא בתשלום מסיםשל השבטים לפלשתים. השעבוד נמשך עד ימי דוד, כמה עשרות שנים .

This is an Iron age farming settlement excavated and identified as Ebenezer(1 Sa 7:12- Stone of Help-, located on the side of the highway from Samaria to Ben Gurion Airport, between the north house of Rosg Ha’ayin and the industrial zone of Kfar Kassem. Compared with other site of Israel about ancient Israel, this is not developed by Israel government well and just hv little plates to introduce this site with Hebrew only.
