Very friendly staff, good service and most importantly real Italian pizza that tastes heavenly!

We’ve waited for 40 minutes for 1 pizza, which was fairly bad. Also, the waiter was rude.

I went there for gluten free pizza since the chef told me that they have gluten free pizza options, but the quality of my gluten free pizza was very low. I got disappointed. For normal pizza my friends told me they were very delicious.

We were a group of four and ordered 4 different types of pizzas. They brough two and forgot the other two... when we claimed, the manageress came and said "sorry, sorry" and that was all... NOT ANY COMPENSATION offerd as it should have been in a REALLY outstanding restaurant - as it was advertised. We also had to wait for payment for the 4 pizzas, but the waiter disappeared and we had to "search" for him to leave at last... The pizzas were nothing but average ( they are proud of their 3-generation traditions which did not showso there were too much fuss for really nothing. One time (badexperience, but well surely not return again.

The waiter guy was soo slow and RUDE. 3 years ago, I ate here and it was completly diferent. Now the pizza was overbaked, there were literally 3 slices of salami on it… the waiter didnt remember what we order… waiting to get the menu for 25 mins… that all was shame..

I think, the pizza was very delicious for a really reasonable price. Friendly waitress.You cant go wrong here!

Amazing pizza you will eat in Sarenda

great food, bad consumer experience.. First of all, the pizza was great, this is 5/5.But the service could be much better.. in general we had a feeling that we are disturbing the waiter in his work.. No chance to ask any question, he was running all the time. We’ve got plastic cups for the water - other tables got glasses 🤷‍♂️ payment only in cash - they had no change and were really frustrated about it.. should it be my problem? I guess not..

Pizza was burned and not very tasty. Service was nice though.

We enjoyed both of our pizzas . Quality of the products is very high you can tell from the taste. Reasonable price for the quality they offer. Even it was busy hours when we went,pizzas came quickly enough. Waitress was also so polite. Definitely should try if you are in Saranda.

The pizza was really delicious.Just be careful in the end.They tried to give me a wrong change (a 200 bill instead of 2000 lek), i noticed and then the waiter apologized and gave me the right bill. Probably that was on propouse.

I cant believe some of the bad reviews here, especially not when they are related to the pizza, which is great. Our favorite is the Diavola. It is hard to get a good Diavola in Saranda. Yes, it is a little pricey, but worth it. Staff is always friendly.

Definitely one of the best pizzas Ive eaten while in Albania, just like the best pizzas Ive had in Italy and I lived there for 4 years.So good I went back for a second time.

I have been there 2 time. Always, 1 hour waiting for a pizza. In total 5 tables and they said we have to much clients. Pizza to small for that price and definitely not italian pizza. Not recommended!

Best pizza in town. Real Italian ingredients and taste. Owners and staff also very nice and polite. I would recommend everybody staying in Sarande to visit the place, you will love it!

The quality of the pizza is really not good. I could taste that they use cheap ingredients. The pizza is very small (if you order a normal size pizza), the staff is not professional, the waitress seemed pretty uninterested and ignored us most of the time. I dont know why the ratings are that good, in my opinion this restaurant is just a tourist trap. If youre looking for a good Pizza, choose another restaurant. This one is definitely not worth the money.

Very disappointing :(we went there as the ratings on Google and TripAdvisor were highly promising. Against all ratings the pizza was by far not as good as described.

Awful pizza. It is definitely not Italian pizza. Used cheese was cheap and fat. We didnt feel well after eating this.

We stayed in Sarande for a month and this was our favorite place to eat. The owners are the nicest people and treated us so well. Must try for anyone visiting.

This place is awesome! They not only have delicious Italian food the atmosphere is awesome and the owners and staff are so kind and friendly. We feel at home here. The owners are from Italy so you can expect a some delicious Italian food and pizza! All the pizzas are delicious and the lasagna is great!

This place deserves 5 stars !My friends and I went here and ordered pizzas and GOSH they were so good !I ate a lot of pizzas through my 2 months here in Albania and those are nowhere near what I expected. Very high quality hand made pizzas with a great view over the sea.We’ve also been offered limoncello before leaving.They are welcoming, smiling and their work is amazing : I would TOTALY recommend that place 😉

How does this place not have 5 stars?!?! This is the real deal. I spent 3 months in Naples and Palermo last summer. I didnt make it to the boot of Italy but I had my fair share of pizza. At all price ranges from street pizza to Michelin star restaurants in the south. This restaurant is the real deal! I wont be going to any other pizza restaurants in Saranda because really they just cant compare. All the flavors and ingredients were high quality and very nostalgic from living in Italy last summer. Even down to the limoncello which if you spent a summer in southern Italy you know thats a staple. Its going to be hard to not eat here daily lol. Highly recommend this place if you want real Italian pizza.

Mind blowing pizza from a nice Italian couple

Had a great meal. Had a great time! Food is great and great staff. Enjoyed pizza Diavola and a nice med salad. Kids loved it and nice atmosphere. We had great conversation with owners after meal and learned a lotAbout their love from Italy to Albania. Great stop! Would return!

Authentic Italian spot. The pizza was delicious—we had prosciutto with arugula. It’s clear the owners take care buying very high quality ingredients, you can taste the difference. Service was also excellent despite it being a busy weekend afternoon. Will absolutely be going back.

Absolutely average restaurant. In Sarande you can find much better restaurants for lunch or dinner.

Lovely view, real Italian waitstaff, very friendly. The pizza was pretty good, though not outstanding enough to warrant the large message on the menu explaining that they don’t make substitutions because they’ve carefully perfected every recipe. The crust wasn’t fermented long enough to get any depth to the flavor, and the haphazardly sprinkled rock salt over the top led to a few overly salty surprise bites. If a restaurant markets itself as so exceptional that they’re unwilling to deviate, then it sets a /very/ high bar that Mattarello didn’t meet. But if you’re going for just a pretty good pizza, beer, nice view and friendly service, then this is a good choice.

We ordered 9 pizzas all poorly cooked that felt more like eating rubber. Pizza was overpriced, small in size and tasted horrible and service was bad . 10/10 would use this pizza to fix my shoes.

Gave a slice to Shrek, he didnt like it also so he gave it to the donkey. Donkey was happy xD
