The food was good and portions were adequately sized! I ordered the mozza burger with fries and gravy. It came on a fresh ciabatta bun and was a homemade Patti. It had 4 strips of crisp bacon and was perfectly cooked!I would definitely recommend this!

Ive been here quite a few times and have never been disappointed! The staff are excellent and always happy to have you. The food is also quite good, and the menu has just the right number of items, with a good selection.

Didn’t even get to try the food. Waited 30 minutes (several open tablesand wasn’t even acknowledged, so we left.A simple “sorry, be with you in a minute” can go a long way.

Have never had a bad meal there. Enjoy their breakfast but my favourite is Jiggs Dinner that they have on Sunday.. always leftovers for another meal.

Wow! What a friendly experience and warm welcome to Newfoundland! This was my first day ever on the island, and I was greeted with a lovely home cooked dinner and welcoming personalities so far from home :Flying coast to coast in a little airplane this connection alone made my stop in Stephenville worth while :)))

A not so secret Locals Secret. Many items, such as the salt beef & blood pudding are home made. The service is very friendly and efficient. Theres traditional Sunday Dinner on Sunday.

I love this place. The food is great. Bring your appetite as the portions are top notch. I ordered the bologna/egg buger and didnt realize it also came with a home made buger patty. One of the best burgers I ever had.

Recommended by the locals as one of the best spots to eat in Stepehnville so we gave it a try. We had the chowder and the turkey club which were both great. Met some friendly locals who suggested a number of hikes to try out. All in all a great experience.

They were really busy the day we were there and it showed. The wait staff were run off their feet. The food was really good though and service was decent considering. I wish they still served homemade fries. They might also consider hiring another person for busy days.

Ive just finished eating the best seafood chowder that I have eaten anywhere. Creamy, large chunks of lobster and tons of crab in every mouthful, this chowder was beautifully seasoned. Highly recommend you try it.

The burgers at Islander"s At the Airport are like no other, perfection. The Asian burger is like no other & is my favorite. Delicious is a minor statement. For a great meal & a family atmosphere take your family to Islanders. You be the judge.

Traditional boiled dinner / jiggs dinner was fantastic. Salt beef made in house, very little fat. In fact, everything about the meal was fantastic. My only regret was not ordering a 2nd plate to re-fry ro next day with butter in my cast iron skillet.To those not from here, this may not sound overly appetizing. To those of us from here ... /drool.And the waitress had that perfect blend of sarcastic yet good natured humour that Ive only ever seen here.

I have had many wonderful meals at the the Islander..Hubby loves the Bison burger and I love the Beach Basket.You sure get lots of food for your money .The staff are the best very friendly and the lovely music in the back ground .Best place in town .Everyone needs to try the aswome place.

Absolutely excellent food, the service makes you feel as though you’re part of the family, and the price is just so hard to beat for such filling and tasty meals! 10/10 would (and dorecommend!!
