IslandWood - Learning Centre in Bremerton, United States
I went there in two occasion. First as a retreat. Organization, activities, food and service were excellent. The second time, I visited their estate on a open day. We had a lovely walk and visited the three house and all the other attractions. The suspension bridge and the three house are impressive.
Wonderful time, beautiful grounds and great staff and food.
We were attending a wedding. The surrounding were beautiful. The wedding and reception were very well done
Natures Best Staff was friendly.. 5 Star DinningChef has the taste gift everything was delicious all the crew are Rock Stars..I will be back....
We were here for a wedding and thought it was great. The buildings are all high quality and blend in nicely. The campfire was more of an amphitheater with a big vented roof. The hiking was amazing too
The place is very beautiful and peaceful. It was an amazing place for a wedding and our friends wedding there was amazing. However, it would have been nice if they supplied irons for their guest when they host formal events.
This is one of the best outdoor/environmental education centers in the world! Beautiful expansive property, great education programs, knowledgable professional staff, and 1st class Pacific Northwest facilities. They have extensive hiking trails, ponds and creeks, weather shelters, a ropes course, and amazing gardens and greenhouses demonstrating best in class sustainable horticulture. The classrooms are state of the art and teachers top tier. They serve both privileged and underserved students, hold public events and classes, and accommodate weddings and events. Of all my experiences there, my weekend in workshop with poet David Whyte was my favorite, including the live Irish music and book signings.
Great place for a wedding/weekend retreat. Love the rustic atmosphere and the environmental awareness and education. Lovely shady grounds and comfortable cozy accommodations
Island wood is amazing! It’s the perfect balance of outdoor hiking and developed land! There are over 200 acres of very walkable and very kid-friendly walking paths. There are a few paved paths towards the welcome center, but most of the paths are not paved. If you have kids, a stroller will work just fine. The suspension bridge and the treehouses are so cool - highly recommend checking both of these out! Such an amazing place, I plan to come back during the summer and bring food for a picnic.
Wonderful place to visit. A really magical place nestled in Bainbridge.
THE BEST CAMP EVER!!
Great for school trips
It was a great place for kids to go and go on an adventure.
Went here on a field trip with my class in fifth grade it was the best experience of my life amazing
Went here on a field trip. Best trip of my childhood
Very awesome place
I loved islandwood it was so fantastic
"I went to Islandwood as apart of a field trip during the sixth grade. it was fun but there where a few inconsitencys. the insturctors ether didnt know what we had already learned or when they did they assumed we where masters at it and decided to teach us more advanced things. so a small lack of consistency but i would be lying if i didnt say it was overall fun"- ダミン
Super awesome and fun! I nearly cried when i had to leave.
It is a good place to go from school I got to go in Dec 11 to 14
Fun for the whole family! Be sure to sign up for tickets to the special events.
What an amazing place to experience!
I visited Islandwood for a week-long conference. Hospitality was superb. The food was top-notch, delicious, and abundant. Coffee and tea availability was ongoing and of the highest quality. The trail system on the property was wonderful, extensive, and made for great bird and wildlife-spotting opportunities. Sleeping lodges and other facilities made me wish I could stay onsite for much longer than the limited time of the conference I was attending. I highly recommend Islandwood as an amazing site for any conference, retreat, business meeting and more!
Amazing. From the NatureScaping through Pacific NW architecture, community oriented principles, educational opportunities, summer camps for kids, and premier event space...Island Wood is like an eagle amongst gulls. This is a treasure you can put in your heart to remind you that we are capable of working with our environment in beautiful and profound ways.Heres to Island Wood, may we all be so bold.
not the best experience in my life, I went there back in 6th grade for a field trip, I didnt learn anything. they just repeated stuff I learned when I was in kindergarten and when they send you outside, you are out for hours and after a while, you get really fatigued. food was mediocre at best and cabins were small. However, for some people I could see them liking this but, not my taste
it was awesome
When i went there in 4th grade I wish I could live there it was such a great experience! and now Im in 5th grade and wish I can go back there when Im older.
I wish I could do 100000 stars the cabins, the food, everything. I would have a wedding there, and you can.
Best place to gp
Beautiful surroundings, great food, so much to learn!

i went there with my school, the food was good but field study was very long and taught us stuff we already learned in the 3rd grade. it was very fun to be there and explore though 4/5
I am going to Islandwood for a school field trip in about 6 weeks. My friends say there are AWESOME cabins and gourmet food. They said it was the best 4 days of their life :DIm excited to go!
Just came home from Island Wood it was a blast! You get free pizza for dinner and ice cream for dessert.I slept in a BRAND NEW lodge called Fish Tank

i loved island wood it is so fun i went there 5th grade trip oh i wish i can go there again it will blow ur mind
Its a good learning facility i went for 4 days on a field trip i got homesick the first day but it cleared up. I would recomend you going with your mom or dad. The food is great they play this awesome game called camoflauge. You have about 14*5 person rooms you get to share with you friends. The field groups are ok. I recomend you kids and adults go.
