This restaurant is located within the Zakaria street area, precisely on Colootola Street. They are noted for preparing Haleem in the season of Ramadan in this area. Their Mutton Haleem tastes good though its not mouthwatering. The price is close to the higher section also. Overall this restaurant can be tried once but no reason to visit it repeatedly.

ZAKARIA STREET is famous for its food specially in this month of Ramadan or Ramzan.So , yesterday we went to taste the foods there😍. We reached there around 7 pm , the place was filled with crowds and was also filled with mesmerizing smell of different foods 😄😍📌 Islamia Hotel - As we reached there very late , mutton haleem was out of stock in maximum joints selling haleem , so we lastly found this islamia hotel where mutton haleem was still in stock . We ordered 1 plate mutton haleem which consists of 4 pieces of mutton , price - 210 . It was a much fulfilling meal , the taste was extremely good😍

This place is one of the oldest hotels of kolkata … this place was started somewhere around 1942-43. I went in randomly in one evening quite hungry from my evening work load of work and wanted a good food in dinner … so had tandoori roti… chap …. Mutton Bhima and phirni ……the taste was mindblowing and real taste of food …. This place is famous for their Behari during winter served from 5.30 am to 8am…… and their biriyani is also good …..one can try if u are around the colootola street area

The place is like any other hotel in colootola. What makes it different is its delicious mughlai paratha and firni. These 2 can never go wrong here. Biryani is also a must try. Enough space inside and proper ventilation too since there are 2 entrances. Nahari is also pretty good here.

Decent food at affordable pricing , I have been visiting this place for years now and it has become one of my must visit and eat places whenever I visit burrabazar.Giving it 1 star less due to the fact that they make their biryanis with dalda apart from that , staff behaviour is really good. Affordable and awesome beef dishes esp the biryani and chaap. You can have the chaap with paratha as well. In case you drop in early evening, they make great Mughlai paratha. The tea is also very nice. Desserts like firni are a must.

The beef biryani is succulent and flavourful and their zafrani firni is a must try. Inexpensive and highly recommended.

Restaurant is ok. Food tastes good. Not recommended for family to visit. If youre single and want cheap food you may visit it.

After a stroll at Zakaria street and our way back to the Metro, got 2 plates of Chicken Haleem(they ran out of Mutton)Service was okay(7/10),not coordinated properly.Quantity was below average 5/10Pricing was overpriced as per the quantity and tasteTaste: It was just above average, below decent. Doesnt taste like Authentic Haleem and tasted more like Chicken Rezala with brownish gravy. I and Dad were fine, but mom had a stomach upset within 2 hours of consumption.
