Lined with highrises, this large sandy beach is a popular, scenic spot for swimming & watersports.
Wonderful
Nice beach
Nice beach and boardwalk restaurants and bars
Pretty nice beach. Very nice place for a walk or chilling by the water 😎
Beautiful beachCant wait to go back.
Loved it warm water the parking was great and the beach was amazing will return again.
Nice beach but you parking is tough unless you want to pay, plus police kick you off after 5. Id only go if I was ubering. Nice beach though.
Parking was horrible the day I went even the paid lots were full so I wouldn’t return just because of that. Otherwise the beach was beautiful but not worth the hassle.
The storms have made a number in the area, many rocks, but nice
Great place to visit. Parking is a little difficult since no parking lot dedicated for this location, You park at the street. FYI no bathrooms, or changing rooms!! Another note: Isla Verde Beach west is a private beach for people staying at the hotel.
Very nice views and not busy
beautiful water. umbrellas for rent. No restrooms or showers. no picnic area. go prepared.
BEAUTIFUL beach. Clear blue waters and clean sand! One side is closer to the hotels and resorts. A bit further down, you will find some bars and shops.
Amazing place. Great atmosphere and full of activities.
Pleasant beach with less waves
Great beach. You can get drinks and enjoy the waves. Only bad thing is police kick you off the beach at 5
Beautiful beach to watch a sunset from. Definitely a city beach.
The most popular beach in the island. Please keep it clean. Or to the bare minimum at least take your trash with you.
Amazing beach!! Sand so soft it feels like powder. I’ve been to Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Bahamas and Mexico and this was by far the best beach! Highly recommend!!
Lovely vacation spot, great beach, friendly people. Great location
Very relaxing, not crowded and there’s a dog park on the beach, very nice!
Beautiful beach not to rough food and drinks to buy on the beach very safe wasnt very crowded at all.
Pretty beach, but people dont clean up after themselves and the city is short on staff.
Its a great place to live. However, local residents usually go to the beach during the week because during the weekend its crowded. Just remember that this is a area visited by tourist because there are plenty of hotels around the location.
Great beach with soft sand and beautiful water.
Great beach. Very clean and soft sand
This area of the beach is open to the public. If you arrive early enough you can park just off the beach on the side streets which is very convenient. Great for swimming, snorkeling ,surfing or just to lay on the sand and sunbath. The only downside that I can see is no restrooms or showers . Like any beach on Puerto Rico it has beautiful sceneries.Near many places to eat . Chairs and umbrellas are also available. Please reference the map I posted. You can park at any one of those side streets.
Really soft sand and enough shade to hide away :)great place to chill and few people!
Free street parking. The beach was clean! The water was clear. Not too many people. Come prepared to cover your face from the sand when you’re laying down.
Lots of fun in the sun. Ample lounge chairs and umbrellas located everywhere. Quick and friendly drink service with a simple head knod. Lets not forget about the beach itself. Golden soft warm sand. And the water temperature is perfect.
Easy to get to. This is one of many beautiful beaches the island has to offer. The water is beautiful and the sand is soft and smooth. Close to many shops, restaurants and hotels as well.
Beautiful clean beach! Would highly recommend for people to visit.
Beautiful beach 🏝, soft sand, clear water.Jet ski rentals available! Recommend!
Went to a second beach there was a lot better than this one but this particular beach is great as well. Tons of people at this particular beach, definitely a lot of water sports at this beach, and the ways are a lot bigger and thicker at this particular beach than other beaches we went to. The drop off also is a lot steeper compared to other beaches so just be prepared.
One of my favorite beaches in San Juan where there are no rocks in the water and less fecal matter viruses from unleashed dogs to deal with. Weekends are crowded and theres beach chair rentals available towards the more populated sides. A very good place to sunbathe, jog, or stroll up and down.
Family fun and a great time a la playa! This memory is golden thanks Puerto Rico!
Quiet beach, clear aqua green waters, a few spots for free street parking.
In Isla Verde on a sunny afternoon. Very relaxing , small waves and smooth sandy beach. It was very enjoyable and relaxing.
My first trip to Puerto Rico, to see the water and beach from the calle or street was exhilarating. The water the first day was amazingly perfect. This beach is a MUST VISIT, I promise you wont want to leave. Its also nice a quiet there are stretches where there are no other gentes or people. Parking can be hard to find if you didnt stay near the beach. It was worth everything to go see.
I went in February and found the water a little cold . The color is indeed green, making the scenery beautiful . Yet some buildings seem abandoned , and the sand is a bit coarse. The beaches in San Juan are better around this time as they’re more enclosed and calm. I didn’t see many people inside the water in isla verde compared to other beaches
The beach was clean. The people were nice. Bar across from here was great. The water was blue and warm. Spent time with family. It was amazing. Have police patrolling make sure everyone is good and safe. People sell food on the beach.
Its a 3.7. The beach is located in a busy area with plenty of businesses. Theres little free parking close to the beach. The water is choppy, the waves are rough with a ton of sand to accompany it. Great if you dont want to or cant travel too far away. I would not recommend the ocean for weak swimmers or small children.
Very picturesque and beautiful. Its a must visit every time Im in San Juan
Our AirBNB was a 10 minute walk Aleah from this beach. It’s situated in a very touristic area, with lots of hotels, restaurants and shops. Beach is very busy every time we went. It is a nice beach and clean, but I prefer the non touristic beaches that we discovered on our trip.
Another perfect P.R. beach! Mild waves, great for swimming, playing, floating in a water hammock!
This beach was amazing! The weather was nice and the water was perfect. The beach staff was helpful and not pushy at all. The water is such a vibrant color; however, it is misleading. This is not the place for snorkeling! The water may be beautiful on the top, but the waves stir up sand and you can’t see underwater.
This beach has been rated the 3rd best urban beach in the world i love it 💪🏻💪🏻🇵🇷🇵🇷
Loved the beach. It is clean and not so crowded.
Slightly dirty beach but still beautiful and tropical.
A long trail of beach right of a tourist strip of hotels and casinos. The sun is hot, the rentals are affordable, grab a rum punch and fish bites from El Alambique.... its perfect. Parking is scarce. This place gets busy on weekends, especially on holidays.
