Great Tour. Excellent food. Water is just beautiful.

What a green place. Soft sands and a good infrastructure in the National Park island. Free sunbathing chairs, clean toilets, BBQ stations. I particularly liked the forest trail, easy access, well kept and ends over the scuba diving area.I was particularly sad to see how much Coral Bleach that is happening around the island. The only colorful fish I came across was in the few patches of surviving Coral.Overall satisfaction was 10 to the whole island experience. Well recommended

So beautiful, white sandy beach and water so clear, snorkeling off the reef we found starfish and stingrays.

The water is so clear and alot of marine life. That you could see if you go snorkeling.

The sailboat and snorkeling experience was great, Catalina island was beautiful and had pristine water. The food was great and the tour guide was funny and inviting. Staff did a great job.

Beautiful island, friendly inhabitants and abundant marine life! Unfortunately we did not like the nasty blood sucking flies, they were massive and ugly...Make sure you carry insect repellents!

Do the scuba dive trip to Isla Catalina

Isla Catalina is an amazing island to visit. Absolutely gorgeous and you can usually get here through a snorkeling or scuba diving package. Gorgeous waters and delicious lunch, you can even grab a nice lobster or two if you want.

What a beautiful and tranquil beach situated in a national park. Theres are food and drink huts, as well as a souvenir hut.

Beach was awesome. Water was crystal clear. Fun snorkeling. Very crowded if cruise ship present. Local vendors sell junk merchandise. Best to avoid them.

This is a safe place for families to go for the day. We went here as part of a Carnival Cruise excursion. Not a lot of underwater features for snorkeling, but we found a few fish to follow. Beautiful views, bar within walking distance, not many locals pestering.

Day snorkeling it was amazing. Guides and staff are 5 star. Lovely time had. Bring mosquito spray as I returned covered in bites even though I sprayed loads on. Xxxx

What a beautiful island. The beach was so clean and the sand so soft under foot, the sea was so clear You could see well over 10 metres to the corral which felt a million miles away from civilisation and being there with my partner made it extra special. Highly recommended you visit.

I would give 5 stars if it werent for the insanely long and difficult process of getting to the island. We were gone 13 hours, and only spent 4 on this island. Great price though and the water is unbelievably clear

The island itself isnt bad, the travel to and from our resort was a nightmare. And they werent bad people, but the crew just seemed kinda...sketchy. When the guests didnt want anymore drinks, they finished off what was on the boat. And some of the scuba gear seemed like they probably cut corners. Again, not a bad place to visit, but would definitely not spend what we did to go again.

The place is beautiful but the prices for everything are outrageous if they would keep them reasonable more people would buy the island is beautiful

What shear beauty this is. Friendly island staff served lunch and drinks all day. There is shopping and pedicure/massage available. The shoreline is gorgeous.

The beach, snorkeling, and diving are nice; there are, however, too many vendors that will harass you to buy things that you dont need or want.

Great experience! Awesome place for snorkeling and just lazy beach drinking! Enjoy the fun in the sun! There is also the ever commen locals trying to sell every manner of trinkets. You will always get a discount "just for you"...talk them down at least once more after the "discount" and call it fair. 😉

I really want to give this place more stars because the island itself is quite pretty, but in all honesty, the vendors at this beach are too aggressive. We would have had a great time if it werent for that.

Nice getaway to take s Catamaran party boat and snorkel. I have been 3 times here and always love it and had lot of fun.

Is a beautiful island with outstanding beach shores. Great place for snorkeling and enjoy the beach. Calm waves makes the place nice to spend time with family and children of all ages. Is very expensive to buy drinks like the piña colada and the coconuts, the buffet the place offers is not well balanced (the meat portion is very low, very bad indeed).

Nice and enjoyable island! Tours depart from La Romana, staff is pretty good. There is a volleyball area, chaise longues and hamaca to chill.

We expected more from a snorkeling trip we took here. Not a lot of sea life to see and there was a lot of trash on the seabed.

What a beautiful island of paradise! After a pleasant catamaran boat ride out to this island, we had a great time riding the banana boat, snorkeling and feasting off of a buffet made for our group.

This is a lovely island where you can enjoy the beauty of this country.

Beautiful beach , dangerous but immaculate reefs ( keep some durable beach shoe with yourself ). Friendly but pushy sales guys.

Super crowded. We went there during a cruise and were shocked. The place is extremely crowded during cruise ship arrivals. The problem: YOu are only allowed to stay in your private "cruise area". There are guards who do not allow access to the other, more quit areas. Very, very disappointing. Beach walk is impossible. The beach itself and the water is magnificent, though.

There is no fish to snorkeling,the beach got all rocks ,cant swim

Absolutely stunning park. Loved the beach, loved the water. Great facilities. I came with a tour and I can say that the food they serve to tours is quite decent. Fantastic snorkeling, if you dont have one, they are a must! The corals are beautiful and harbor a lot of wildlife. Saw a huge (like 2 square feet from the sidefish straight up eat a sea urchin. Had a real great time, I basically didnt get out of the water.

I cant review the island itself (i didnt spend enough time there), but I can review the snorkeling. It is very sub-par. I spoke with a tour operator for Catalina and he acknowledged that the snorkeling was no good. I have snorkeled many places but I wouldnt recommend Dominican Republic or Catalina Is for snorkeling. Speaking with another couple that has visited DR 8 times in various areas, they also said that snorkeling wasnt that good on the island. My resort however and the "night life" was great...very fun!
