Beautiful Castle

MoreFantastic! Recommend it warmly.
Nice place but a little boring. Loved the view, though
It is a must to pass by this location. Despite the long road from Trabzon, we decided to make a detour of 1h before reaching our final destination Lake Van.Unfortunately I couldnt find more details about other spots around this palace, especially those walls build/carved behind the mosque. It was mentioned that is opened online at 4.25pm, we found it closed! But this astonishing view lets us still enjoy the moment.

Very nice place to visit with a rich hystorical heritage!
It is a beautiful palace date back to 1685.if you think the time of the buildings it was a very modern palace with heating system, spa, wc ...facilities.However, I found restoration or added upper floor/roof is not matching with its historical past.
MoreAmazing!

One of the most beautiful historical place in Doğu Beyazıt. Must visit if you have been in Ağrı. I wish they made better restoration of the palace.
MoreVery amazing to realize that the structure is still looking very original and that people of so many ago had such architectural talent.

MoreIshak Pasha Palace, one of the most beautiful works of Turkish architectural history, is located in Ağrı. İshak Pasha Palace, which took 99 years to build, attracts great attention from local and foreign tourists.“There is a lake at four thousand two hundred meters on the slope of Mount Ararat, they call it the Küp lake. The lake is the size of a threshing floor. Its very deep. A well, not a lake. All around the lake, namely the mouth of the well, the swivel is surrounded by red, sharp, sparkling rocks like a knife blade. Then the blue of the lake begins. This is a completely different blue...Gülbahar lost Ahmed in Cube Lake. Since that day, those who pass by Küp Lake see Gülbahar sitting on the shore of the lake, with her long black hair flowing like light on her back, her head between her two hands, staring into the deep blue water. Every now and then, Ahmet appears in Gulbahars eyes in the waters of the lake, Gulbahar opens her arms and walks to Ahmed and says, "Ahmet, Ahmet!" he shouts. His voice echoes all over the mountain. The lake boils, Ahmet disappears, Gülbahar disappears, a small white bird comes and dips its wing into the deep blue of the water, and then the black shadow of a horse comes over the water."In his book The Legend of Mount Ararat, Yaşar Kemal describes the epic love between Gülbahar and Ahmed, who could not reunite, in İshak Pasha Palace.
MoreThe words are so less to explain this place, the architecture wonderful, so big so much rooms inside, there is a men side and women side, the view from the windows amazing, located in the best area ever, to go there from Doğubayazıt so quickly using taxi with 40 tl, and while coming back you can use minibüs or just hitchhiking 👍 , you can use museum carte if you have, and near it up part coffee shop, when you can sit and watch the view. I would like to come back there, I recommended ❤️
MoreMake you hike around, this place is stunning. @somemenareislands

MoreThis place must be seen. So cool historical place
Amazing Amazing placeHistorical and A palace and a mosque at the top of the mountain, the road is excellent
MoreOne of the few palaces that are still extant from the Ottoman era other than that of Sultans in Istanbul. Builded in the 18th century in near mountain skirts that dominates the large plain, the palace reflects a hybrid architecture that consisting of both European Baroque and Seljuk-Persian influences. A must see attraction in the Eastern Anatolia.
