Authentic Greek food! Best pitas in town.

Im really sorry to say, but I got bad food poisoning thats left me 2 days incapacitated after eating from here on Wednesday night. I had a pita gyros and fries. Im 100% sure it was from this meal as I had nothing else for many hours before. Normally I get vegetarian food from here which is great! Not sure what went wrong this time. A shame! Im kind of scared to come back again.

Beautiful place, specially the second floor. The ground floor seems to be a completely different place as it looks more like a franchising restaurant.Food was good but a but some of the plates were a bit to garlicky for greek. However the meatballs is a must have entree.

This place used to be great, now its just ok.. The plates are smaller, more expensive and less tasty. :(

Super delicious and big quantity for a reasonable price. We already ate the pita gyros here quite many times and every time it was 100% worth it!

Our favorite greek restaurant/bistro in Centrum in Den Haag. We ordered Pita Gyros and greek salat. Great amount of food, fresh and super quick delivery (in 3mins in Bistro). If you want to eat quick/reasonable, visit Bistro.Whenever we are in Den haag, we like to eat here Pita Gyros!

Irodion is a Greek restaurant just in front of one of the most bubbling places in The Hague: de Groote Markt.Food there is good and tasty and prices are fair, so it is a good option for a quick meal to keep on visiting the surroundings.Went there already twice and, when I am around the Haagse centre and I need to eat something quick, its always one of my first options.

Great taste, relatively low price, nice and hospitable staff. Great view from the restaurant on the 1st floor.

I tried traditional Greek seafood here. Its really delicious and tasty. I also feel a traditional Greek environment in the restaurant. Allover I really love Irodion and Greek seafood of them.

The older lady behind the register always gives me a lot of attitude and dirty looks for no reason.Maybe its because I am black, because when I see someone thats white ordering, I always see that same lady smile and act in a pleasant way.Why???Their food isnt amazing but its allright and tasty.Just loose the freakin attitude towards people of color older lady 😅

Every vacation we struggle with finding something good and savory to eat in Den Haag thats worth the money.Pita gyros is one place we actually recommend. The irodion (greek restaurant upstairsis supposed to be good as well but we are happy with the downstairs imbiss. You can order take away or order at the counter to eat in.Prices are higher than in Germany but still fair. Mixed Grill XL for 16€, kipgyros schotel for 10€.Whenever we are hungry and dont want to do any experiments we come here 😍

Cheap compared to the other sit-down places around the same location. Food pretty good.Reason for 4 stars: no spicy sauce available and no sauce by the french fries. I was willing to pay extra for it if i knew it was not included but was not asked by the register (btw u have to go to the register and order urself, they do bring it to u after though. Might have been just cuz it was super busy that day but not sure).I would go again, but definitely ask for some mayo/ketchup or even tzatziki and hot sauce.

Really friendly ppl and a good place to have pita gyros… we had the chicken gyros with fries and would recon their burger too… also try out their Greek drinksWe took the local beer as it goes well with the food (it’s drink o clock somewhere !)No need to reserve

Irodion is the best Greek traditional fast food restaurant in The Hague. Food is lekker and tasty and inexpensive, portions are also adequate not small not very big just right size. Must try you will love it.

The staff was very friendly and service was also super quick. Barely 5 minutes after my friends and I had ordered, our lovely waitress was already handing us our plates.The pita gyros is a hard recommend for the size, quality, and taste. It only costed €6.50 euros as well!

We have visited the place several times and never been disappointed. Usually, what I have is gyros which is excellent. The pita is very tasty, the meat well seasoned and the sauce is fresh and garlicky - it really gives the dish a nice balance. The vegetarian gyros and salads and are just as good. I can recommend their aubergine salad next to the main dish.

Great place to have a quick coffee. Or something to eat off course. Friendly staff. Location in the heart of the center. Outside terrace. Good prices.

You aren’t going to forget that you are eating Greek food in Holland, but it is good. If they carried some better Greek beer, it wouldn’t hurt, but they only have Mythos. They do not put fries on the pita, in case you are expecting that. It is clean, staff is friendly, service is quick, and the price is fair. Will go back.

What an incredible experience. Initially we bought 2 x gyros for take away for our son and then we said...lets have a try there for our dinner. Best decision ever. Extremely friendly and helpful service. We wanted to try multiple hot starters and they were kind enough to create a mixed plate for us. All hand made and tasted like home. Feta saganaki, taramas, tyrokauteri, keftedakia, sarmadaki, melitzanosalata...they all tasted fantastic. We ordered also a gyros oven baked with Metaxa and Vegetables. Must try. Of course with a Mythos beer. Also incredible was the Raki with honey, warmed. And for the end a Greek coffee and the dinner was completed. Very nice ambience, great Greek music. This place is really fantastic. For the restaurant you have to go to the 1st floor. In the entry floor it is more like a fast food corner so dont judge of the ambience before you visit the real restaurant.We definitely will be back.

That was tasty as hell for only 10 euros and the staff is lovely ! How dare mcdonald make us pay also 10€ while they just sale boxes if we compare ?If I was not from France, I would come back everytime !Many thanks

Best Quality Price Point in the Hague for general every day high quality Greek food. Pleasant welcoming service with well cooked gyros,biftekki fresh food setting is good at an extremely affordable price and spotlessly clean cutlery and crockery. Have a wine, Have a coffee. Maybe a plate of food. Enjoy.

Great service, kind and friendly. Food is delicious, cheap and brought very quickly. We had 3 schotels, different kinds it was really tasty and we got it after only 2 minutes after we ordered. I wish I have eaten here more lfe3. Definitely will come back.

The food and the service was exceptional! The portions were really big (American sizeand even though we went hungry to the restaurant, we couldnt manage finishing all our dishes. Every single dish was very delicious. The price is very reasonable aswell. A good Greek restaurant to go to whenever you are in the Hague.

The restaurant upstairs is great! The food is super delicious and you get a nice Greek environment. The staff is very kind and attentive, the house wine is good and the portions are very fulfilling. I’ve been here many times and everyone has the same opinions as me.The fast food part downstairs is ok, I’m not the biggest fan of gyros because I prefer shoarma as fast food but is not bad at all, just my personal preference.

Great place to stop in for a delicious Giro or other Greek snack. Mine was freshly prepared, quick and it tasted great. The customer service was also perfect. I highly recommend them if you are in The Hague. Easy to reach along the main walking street and by tram .

Tasty food, excellent service, cosy atmosphere.

The best Greek restaurant in The Hague and offers its authentic cuisine on two floors. The ground floor has pita gyros and other snacks that one can eat there or do it as a to go. The first floor is for those who want to experience the Greek eating experience but in a relaxed atmosphere. Regrettably I never make it past the ground floor as its too hard to resist these tasty dishes and having to wait for that full meal experience. Either way you go, you will experience the best that Irodion has to offer served by its equally fine staff .

Very good food for a decent price! A great authentic taste with medium portions. But do not try the Greek coffee Im not sure what they put in there to make it but 30% of the cup consisted out of ground coffee, there was a very thick, undrinkable substance on the bottom. We come here around 4 times a year, mostly for celebrations 🍾

We have been here today for chicken gyros, it was terrible and quite disgusting since there was more skin than chicken (see the pic), the non-skin parts were chewy and full of fat. We mentioned it to the waitress and she showed a surprised face for a second but no action was taken. We were not waiting any action as we won’t be coming here again.

We had the vegetarian gyro and the chicken souvlaki gryo they were amazing!! Amazing flavours, the pita were so beautiful and delicious, plus the staff were so friendly. Absolutely loved it!!

Firstly the Staff are the best I love them. So I am pleased every time I see them. Also - Every time I visit I LOVE it as I know that the food is always excellent and am very impressed with the great variety and standard. Amazingly cooked meats Fresh tasty salads, Rich Savoury Rice, Golden chips, and much more. I recommend it 110%

Food is good but not special, service is friendly but not super attentive. Nice ambiente and decoration. Fair price to value, not a disappointment but also space for improvement. Would not be a special recommendation yet.

This review is for the cafe downstairs (there is a restaurant upstairs). We had the vegetarian and the pork pita, both delicious. The pita was freshly made in-house and the quality of ingredients is much better than the corner doner stalls, hence the price difference.Well located in the corner of Grote Markt. Outdoor seating also available.Recommended if looking for a quick delicious bite.
