Beautiful place with wonderful staff

nice big rooms, clean bathrooms, hot shower. Excellent restaurant with both local and international dishes. Extremely helpful staff is very nice. obviously fantastic sunsets on the terrace

Faithful to its name, Sunset hotel is simply a breathtaking hotel-restaurant nested into nature. Its wonderfully crafted with eco-consciousness in mind blending in with gorgeous natural and intact landscape. I love those protruding granite rocks! Youre there youre surrounded by mother nature at a reasonable price.

Lovely setting and beautiful staff and service but the food is barely edible. Would return though to stay or for a drink at the Sunset bar.

The terrace bar has a spectacular sunset view beginning at about 6:15 up to about 6:45pm (July). You can enjoy this beautiful sunset with a drink of your choice at the bar, and if you feel cold, there is a log fire or portable pot kettle fire brought to your table at your request.The rooms are beautifully furnished in pure wood crafted skillfully to blend with the wooden architecture of the room cabins. You may want to note that the entire hotel setup is sitting on a series of boulder stones characteristic of Iringa hillside...but cleverly hoisted on sprawling wooden walkways , taking in natural vegetation and formal gardening approach to bring in that unique feel you can only find at the Sunset Hotel.The accommodation is full b&b serving continental and local breakfast. The meals at the hotel, are prepared by skilled chefs who curate a wide range international and local menus, served and attended by humble and sharp Waiters.The hotel has a warmed water swimming pool and a playground for children. It is a perfect place for a family or personal retreat.

The place is amazing. Just like the name suggests, you can view sunset on hilltop... Service is amazing and food is great

I enjoyed a pristine sunset views with the IRINGA town in focus that evening and stayed as late as one oclock midnight.

A really nice customer centered team and a wonderful view. I liked the little charcoal burners, or whatever they are called... Helping to battle the cold weather!

Great little place on the hills facing Iringa Town ... Great views from their deck/balcony specially during sunsets.Staff and service is great with smiling faces all around.Different room options depending on your budget and choice. Rooms are clean and tidy with everything functioning inside.We stayed for 2 nights and no complaints.

Very nice place to sit on the deck and have a sundowner. The Befd burger is very good, buffelo wings, sweet and sour chicken and pepper steak are all good as well

This place was lovely. The staff is incredibly hospitable and welcoming. The environment is comfortable and laid back, with a nice restaurant, garden, and pool area. Rooms aren’t fancy but are cozy and have everything you need. The view from the terrace is incredible and it’s a nice place for an evening drink. Overall, the place has a great vibe that perfectly matches the feeling of the town.

This is probably one of the nicest hotels in Iringa. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are really good although the mattresses would probably not allow a stay for over one week. Breakfast is good dinner is served both in the inside restaurant and on the upstairs sunset platform. The sunset platform is of course magnificent . You can really see amazing sunsets over there city of Iringa . To sit there , have a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and let the day break is really an experience . This is actually a must visit place in Iringa

My favorite place to stay in Iringa. As the same suggests, one of the best spots in Iringa to catch the sunset. It is set at the foot of a hill with great view of Iringa town. The food is delicious and staff are very helpful and courteous. The rooms are good with amenities such as hot water and tea or coffee (instantavailable in the rooms.

Good rooms and location. Very disappointed that on both of my stays there was no hot water in the morning as the hotel controls the water heaters. I requested that the heater be switched on early morning so we can get hot water before our journey but they did not. We arrived at 3pm on our second visit but the room was not ready for us. Although staff are friendly and helpful they need better supervision to ensure customer requests are looked after.

The place has the best sunset view in Iringa. The sunset view deck is comfortable and safe with variety of drinks from waitresses with high hospitality. Their restaurant is gorgeous with delicious dishes. I recommend you visit there next time you are in Iringa.

My husband had curry and me fish and both dishes were very nice. The service was outstanding and the place itself is amazing! I think it became my most favourite place to eat in Iringa 🙂 also very affordable.
