Simply styled, white-tablecloth setting for traditional Iranian grilled meats and meze dishes.
We ordered 2 stews which tasted not bad, but the price increased by £10 per dish which is just flat out madness. Won’t be back. There’s other good places with more reasonable prices
Satisfied meal here! Ordered their signature soup Ash Resteh very filling before we had our mains, and Kebab Koobideh was juicy and tender! Host is very friendly even offered us Persian tea as well :)
Cozy Persian restaurant with tasteful and high quality food (brought me back to home)! Service was good and staff are very kind and helpful! I do recommend!
We ordered sultani meat and hummus, it was delicious. and they gave us extra rice for free . Great service . The manager is so nice
Great authentic food here. We talked to the nice owner grandpa here. He was generous with two complimentary cups of Iranian tea for us. definitely a good choice.
Proper Persian restaurant, the real deal.Amazing service, the server is incredibly professional, and the owner is really nice and shows that he cares about the business. The ambiance is cozy, nice, and comfortable. The food reminded me of my grandmother’s and it says a lot!
The worst place to dine in. The meat wasnt good at all. Rotten vegetables on my plate. Stupid manger tried to convince me its the colour of the lettuce. DONT GO THERE GO TO MACDONALD INSTEAD!!! I regret every penny and i regret my time and nerves seeing uneatable food on my plate. You can feel that the ingredients of the salad arent washed.
The food was delicious and the service was really good. They served us some complementary humus and chai at the end. I tried the vegetable biryani and it was the best biryani I had in London
Amazing Iranian food one of the best restaurants in London. Can’t stop eating 😁. The tea is outstanding.Very kind staff specially the owner .thank you chef great foodLoved everything ❤️
I’ve had lots of Persian food - both at restaurants and in homes. This place scores at the top of the list! Their meat dishes were great, but the Ghorme Sabzi might’ve been the best I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for the real deal Persian food, this is the place. Well worth the price! (Also, great service all around)
This is a no frills Iranian/Persian restaurant in Mayfair. However with Mayfair pricing. Not sure why this only has two ££ sign rating for price. It definitely should be at least three £££Food was decent but there are much better places in london. Portion sizes were small. Prices were mad.Wouldn’t return.
Amazing service and chef makes wonderful food Generous and hospitable to their customers. I definitely come back again and recommend to all my friends
A must-try while in London! I seriously cannot recommend this place enough, absolutely no regrets. The food is fresh, filling and tastes amazing. Staff are very welcoming and kind, giving an overall wonderful experience! Joojeh breast was very tasty, lamb biryani was very filling, the koobideh was so yummy and juicy, and the naan with the oil and spices added the finishing touch. Paired with the classic saffron rice, these are classic dishes served right. Hats off to the chef for the incredible meals! Well be back the next time we are in London.
Delicious fresh food Made and served with love. Large portions and large hearts 💙🦋
Amazing experience. Food was delicious. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed appetizers, kebab and tea. The owner was friendly and let us know that the portions were large and we should share. He was right!
Absolutely amazing! We picked this place solely on Reviews and only reviews. They definitely deserve every word and compliment they have earned. The food was fantastic. The service and staff were all exceptional. We are visiting London for just a week and will definitely be returning before we leave. I have also posted a couple of photos here because a picture is worth a thousand words!
I was here tonight with my family and it was amazing! I was actually sitting by this woman (review belowwho ordered take out with her dog. And we did not witness any unkind remarks! We are visiting from Los Angeles, and this has been some of the best Persian food we have had.
The best Kebob I had in many years. I am visiting London and food was worth the wait for sure. They have been in business for last 40 years and the owner himself is still there to welcome you.
Extremely well prepared meat. Service is quite busy and do not always welcome you extremely friendly but the taste makes it up!
The best Persian Restaurant in London,Amazing hospitality and wonderful kind owner. As a traveler from California it beats any restaurant in California!💕
As an Iranian, I have to say this is not the best persian food you can get. Rice wasnt iranian, and did not have a good quality, but kebabs were not too bad. The place has nothing special, and prices are unreasonably high.
This restaurant is a must go! Every time we come from New York we make sure to come here 1-2x a trip. We ate all the food before I was able to capture a photo but I recommend getting a little bit of everything! There’s nothing you can go wrong with.
It is one of the best restaurants I have ever been .The food was really delicious without any exaggerates .KABAB WAS PERFECT, IT MELTED IN MY MOUSE .They asked me to look the menu in advanced with respect that if didn’t like the foods or I couldn’t afford, , I would change my mind without embarrassing. They offered us Saladolvie without charge and also afterwards they bring us wine. This is the ORIGINAL Iranian hospitality.
Best persian food in London! We had the best experience with great food and excellent service. We will for sure be back!
The best meat I’ve ever tasted and it was so soft. Everything was cooked to perfection, the rice was so buttery and perfect. Also the customer service is next level.
I was craving for Persian restaurant in London for years and I finally got my time with it. Unbelievable food! Authentic real Persian food, from starters to mains. If you’re a Persian cuisine connoisseur pls pay a visit! We couldn’t finish it all and asked for takeaway which few hrs later was all gone. Can’t award the 5 stars thought. I’m a purist of Persian cuisine, and it’s unacceptable to be served doogh with no sparkling water, mint leaves and (optional ice).please fix it! Will come back and happy to give additional star for that.
First look at this place and the area, feels reserved and private. The food is super tasty, my partner and I had the Ghorme Sabzi (No.66and Chicken Kebab Bakhtiari (No.34).Portion sizes were more than enough, the kebab tasted different to anywhere else and the stew was cooked to perfection.Very clean and super nice staff!!
The food is delicious. I would like to thank the chef for making that amazing food even when it was so late. The manager is so nice.
I came with my mum who travelled to Iran a few years ago and wanted to taste Persian food again. She loved her lamb, great place with a nice heated terrasse.
Amazing flavors. Incredible service. The perfect lunch if you want something fresh and exciting.
Great service. The kabob koobideh and barg was delicious! Highly recommend. The bastani for dessert was a perfect ending to a great meal.
One of the better Persian restaurants that I have been to around the world. Great kebabs and a very friendly and thoughtful owner.
One of the best Persian restaurants in London, high quality food, good and fast service,I recommend.
Food quality and customer service exceeded our expectations, honestly best Kebab I ever had in London
We used to walk past this restaurant all the time and the smell of the food and freshly baked bread filled the area. So we decided to give it a try today and it didn’t fail us! The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and his recommendations were great, the chef did a great job on the chicken that I had, the atmosphere is very nice and comforting and of course very delicious food, it’s a must!
Definitely worth every penny. Waiters are great and very hospitable. The quality of the meat is fantastic, all dishes we had were cooked were authentic. Couldnt ask for more!Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Good Mirza ghaemi, good kebab barg!Good koobideh.Amazing service!Price is very high compared to other Iranians restaurants in London!
We ordered a starter and main course. They brought us great bread, additional starter and tea (on house). Great food with really authentic taste.
One of the best kabab I have had in a long time. Whenever I am traveling from USA to any other country, I be will try their Persian/Iranian restaurant to be specific their version of kobideh kabab. The staff and owner are very professional and nice, their atmosphere is cute and warm and the food was excellent.
The food was not as good as expected. Been to many Persian restaurants and with the level of pricing they have at this place the quality of the food is not matching. The service though was top level and our waiter was excellent.
+ Service+ Cozy ambience+ Lamb chops were exquisite+ Free soup on the house- Expensive, value-wise, 40 GBP per person without drinks- Everything that was not meat in the dish was sad.- A bit more guidance from waiter would be helpful to choose the dish, certainly at this price level.
Strolling in Mayfair and came across this tiny jewel of a place. Iranian cuisine as the name already suggests, the service is amazing and the food is very good & tasty.Had the Tachine and it did not disappointment 👌
Unfortunately not the best of experiences. We went here on the high number of good reviews and having been there, for the life of me I can not understand both the number of reviews this place has and more shockingly the number of good reviews. It really doesnt deserve it. The food was average at best and price is on the high side especially for what you get. Firstly we didnt get fresh bread as the oven was out of commission and instead we received some packet pitta bread. Not ideal but we should really have been told before we sat down or when we were ordering as we would have gone elsewhere. However, saying that they didnt charge us for the bread. The starters were pretty standard. For our main we had a chicken and lamb skewer. Lamb was ok, but the chicken was really, really not ok. It was like chewing on a boiled piece of chicken with no flavour. The service was very good and we got some complimentary tea.Overall we wouldnt go here again. We love our Persian food and so many other better Persian restaurants to go to.Would have been 2 stars at any other place but because of their prices have to knock it down to 1.Edit: In response to the owner reply - Yesterday I went to Sadaf in Kensginton (feel free to read my review on Sadafwhich reminded me of just how bad your restaurant is....and as such it warranted an edit. Compared to other Persian restaurants like Alanouk, Hafez and Berenjak I thought my review was fair. I have no reason to make it look like a recent review. Saying that I am surprised by how many 5 star reviews you have based on the quality of your food. Maybe you should go back to doing what you do best, which is serving overpriced mediocre Persian food. You would think youd have better things to do over the festive period than reply to 5 month old reviews.....seems like youre the one suffering from boredom.
Oh my god. Is food just better in London? The food here is amazing and the service is fantastic. The owner is super nice and welcoming. I highly recommend the chicken and lamb kebab. It was so delicious and well-flavored. Probably some of the best kebabs Ive ever had. And based on the other reviews, the food here is really authentic. And the portions are huge (like Texas-sized portionsso make sure to come here hungry! There are some outdoor seating options and some indoor seating as well. Id definitely recommend trying this restaurant!
Delicious Persian food. Iran Restaurant does it all so well, the food and the service. And the fresh made bread makes it even better.Keep in mind that the portions are big.
Cozy home made Persian food. Very very tasty and well served and generous portions! Definitely worth it! Lovely set up with tables outside for a weekend late lunch .Coming back soon !
After a nice walk with our dogs. We walked passed this restaurant and were very intrigued with the portion size and how delicious it looked. So we decided to give it a go.It did not disappoint. It was delicious!! The food was so flavourful. They are not stingy on the spices at all. We will bring our friends next time!
Although the staff were attentive we did not enjoy the food, we were hungry so we ate it. The area is known for having pricier restaurants but the food did not represent the price. Our mixed grill came out wet and oily, I believe it may have been defrosted because there was no taste of freshness or that charcoal aroma Im used to. I just think its a shame that it was not made fresh. The atmosphere is nice and seating is romantic but major improvements need to be made on the food. Maybe we went on a busy day, all other reviews seem positive but that was not our experience
It was the best Kebab I have ever had in the UK. The taste of Koobideh and Barg Kebab is as authentic as the one you can only find in the best restaurant in Iran. We really enjoyed the meal and the time we spent there. If you want to try authentic Iranian style kebabs and food, dont hesitate to go to this place!
The best Persian food I’ve had in London, not to mention some of the best service I’ve ever received at a restaurant. Owner and waiter were so friendly and we had a lovely chat. The food was cooked by a very experienced chef whose been in the game for over 45 years. The best Koobideh I’ve ever had, literally the meat melted in my mouth and was so juicy and full of flavour. Can’t wait to come back, we travelled from far just to come here and did not disappoint.
