Wonderful staff, great information and service. Gave us excellent advice helping us to choose what was the best day to drive to Milford Falls and also do the tour to Doubtful Sound which we booked at the Centre along with a tour to see the Glowworms at Te Anau. Excellent ambassadors for the region. Thank you Invercargill.

Great staff, theyve helped me out so much especially with travel.
Loved the staff, quirky ones who while maybe did not know all the information off the top of their heads, made sure to find out and be very very helpful.
Very friendly and helpful polite curtious and lovely personalitys the females that were on the times I have been in nice enough to hold onto things you might have left by mistake
Great place for a walk and lunch. Fantastic playgrounds for kids. Great place for everyone. Beautiful gardens at Queens
Be sure to visit The Batch for good eats in a spot with atmosphere...🙂
This really needs to be in the CBD. As it was in the museum that will be closed for some years it will be a good opportunity to move it permanently there as this is where tourist expect it to be.
Bureaucratic incompetence and stupidity has seen the museum art gallery and visitors center shut down. Many thanks and much credit for this must go out to our city mayor and city council.
Nice, u get complete info about the city and transport
Located at the Museum, this information centre has all you will need for your stay in Invercargill as well as for the next leg of your journey. Picked up local town maps and a map of the Southern Scenic route.
Impressed with the I site and Queens gardens!
A lot of brochures and souvenirs. Nice little museum, nice area of town. Definitely worth a visit.
If the world were to end, it should definitely do so in Invercargill....oh, the world actually does end in Invercargill!!! An overall amazing place whose remoteness can literally be smelled in the air..in a good way, that is. The towns architecture, like many other of New Zealands places big and small, weirdly resembles that of many of Canadas places big and small... go figure! The eerie quiet combined with the equally eerie color the Sun shines there, may well give you the sense of a parallel universe...but worry not, youre not dead and it aint a parallel universe or the afterworld... just a postcard end of the one we live in.
Nice environment for lunch and exhibitions
Staff were not very helpful
I liked the stuffed bird displays. The rest is up to you. Its not that far to bike too. Enjoy it. I did. Its a lovely extra to Invercargill city. Does not disappoint me! It has a theme to it. :)
Good place for visiting, good museum, nice cafe.
Polite and helpful people thank you
Information centre where you can book tours, get information brochures and some souvenirs. It has a small free museum on the history of New Zealand with some Maori artifacts and the fastest Indian motorcycle. Theres also a theater, a café and restrooms. Its located next to Queen Victoria Park.
