Visited several times with tourists. You can feel that how people are intelligent. Very interesting, warm place to visit. I like very much.
Very interesting
i nutted on the giant chess set
It doesnt fit in the name, it is only Mongolian intellectual museum.
Interesting museum, but i feel like the majority of the items aee just a collection of toys bought from the store
Mongolian traditional IQ developing toys
Interesting museum.Amazing
Wonderful museum
Arguably the best museum in UB. Interactive and fun English speaking staff explaining and solving difficult puzzles.
This is the definetly the one place to check with kids
Said Mongolians created chess.
Some of the best places to visit
One of the best [private] museums I have ever visited
This is a must see in Mongolia. The most unique museum you will come across. A Tribute to a true passion from a local Mongolian making and solving some of the most complicated puzzles in the world. Dont miss this! It is astonishing. They dont let you take photos so there is so much you will have to come see on your own.
Nice shiso vip salon
Im an engineer and love this type of puzzles so I was utterly disappointed with this place. The very unfriendly staff informed us that it is not a play area but a museum when they kicked us out after 1h which we had to spent on their tour. Nowhere was indicated that the ticket would have a time limit and on their webpage they try to appear as if you could try a lot of their amazing puzzles. If they wanted to be a museum then the tour was really bad with nearly 0 information (This is a wooden chess board..., this is a chess board made of bones.... ). I was enraged afterwards. (Definitely not for children; boring)Ich bin Ingenieur und liebe solche Puzzle/Denkaufgaben.
An amazing exhibition of the specific time period
Car Parking is problem
Very good and detailed on our and Mongolian evolution
Interesting stuffs
Fascinating for this huge collection of a treasure trove of wooden puzzles with magic locks, games, artworks, and hundreds of exotic chess sets with animals, rocks, bones, crystals, and exotic figures. However, no photography permits in the museum. That let us down. Censorship is still exist in post-Communist Mongolia. That sucks!
This place has a lot of puzzles. Infact t you will be amazed to see the history of puzzles and different types with magic locks. Music puzzle, chess made of of tree roots, glass, piyano, and lot many. The guide speaks very Weill English, Korean and Mongolian.
I really enjoyed this museum. Lots of carved wood puzzles and hundreds of chess sets with different styles/shapes. Animals, warriors, snuff bottles, etc.
Absolutely amazing exhibition, with 4 floors packed full of award winning puzzles, games and artwork. Would certainly recommend a visit. Huge respect for the founder of the museum, who to this day is still creating new puzzles
Closed the whole week of naadam, but did not state this anywhere
SO FUN and interesting
You will realize the human minds potential
This was a very interesting museum. Would recommend to anyone visiting the city!!
It is a quite funny museum with awsome things in it. We got a tour which was very good and entertaining. Definitively wort a visit.
different riddles from Mongolia and other parts of the world. there are traditional Mongolian riddles and some created by the founder of the museum. very interesting.
Take a look at this place and see our many people looking at the many interesting games weve been reducing from human thinking, and weve got a game of excitement because of the inside shop.
Very fun place.
Very interesting museum. if you visit UB city, check this out, you will love it.
Interesting museum 4 floors. The price of the entrance include a guided tour 👌
Museum absorbed its own unique features. Children under team run schools are working to develop their intelligence and thinking side.
One of the must visit place in UB

One of the most entertaining museums ever, worth to see. The guide will show you how to solve some of the puzzles and you are allowed to play with some, however most of them are kept secret as they may be presented in international competitions. They claim to have the biggest collection of chess sets in the world, there are a lot of amazing pieces. It takes about one hour to go through and they also have a shop where you can bay some basic puzzles.
Overly structured tour. No photos; dont touch ANYTHING! Interesting artifacts from all over the earth. Difficult to locate. Back streets. Building is a construction zone.
