Breakfast wasn’t great, bar closed early when we returned for a nightcap we were unable to get a drink. Bar service was slow as was breakfast service as it appeared only 1 member of staff covering breakfast service/ check in

The room is nice, we’ll decorated and cosy.Otherwise the room smelled of mold and overlook a basement so we couldn’t open the window to change the air.We got very disappointed when we found out in the morning the breakfast we’ve paid for is English breakfast only. If we had known we would not have included it in the reservation!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the whole place was super clean, our room was very comfortable, breakfast was super yummy, my children are fussy eaters and the lady serving us gave them some cereal instead, which was perfect! She chatted to both my kids.

A great spot. In easy reach of roads to everywhere. 10 minutes or so to brighton seafront. A great hotel with the added bonus of air con in our room. Nice breakfast and attached to a miller and carter steak house!!

First room (207wasnt a nice room, was tiny, dark and no view at all. There was NO aircon which is just not acceptable especially in this weather and for £143 a night. I asked to move to aircon and got room 206 which was lovely and cold, the room was nice and spacious and bright, so thank goodness I moved, otherwise I would have left a very bad review.

Perfect place to stay. Rooms were lovely and comfortable. Great service by the staff.

Heater is not working. Tried to set many times but didn’t work. The TV can not be connected with external devices and no Wi-Fi. We played music by using our phone. Window is facing out side and can not be securely locked. Comfort is good, room was big, car park available and friendly reception.

Room was clean and tidy, had everything we needed and staff were polite and helpful

Cancelled our booking a few days before we were due to stay due to staffing issues. Left us having to find a hotel at the last minute.

Friendly, helpful staff and a clean, comfortable room. The breakfast was a bit iffy; thin sliced white bread, not the advertised sourdough, but otherwise all good.

It was a good place to stay and it was clean but the service was scarce because it was hard to find anyone when I needed assistance but apart from that it was a good place to stay.

We arrived at 3pm and my room still wasnt ready. As I walked in to the corridoes there were bedsheets on the floor as well as all sorts of toiletries, buggies and other things which were used to either clean the room or dirty things from the people before us. Lewis Hamilton would of struggled navigating his suitcase through that slalom of mess. Luckily we wanted to use the bar not the room so managed to at least place my luggage in the room while it was still being cleaned.The worst thing was trying to gain access back into the hotel after the evening out attending a concert. No one at the reception has told us that in order to gain access back to the room we had to go through some sheds and dark alley ways down the side of the hotel towards the back. The main entry to the hotel was closed and no one answered the intercom. There were no signs to advise of this eitherAfter 45min of trying to reach someone on the intercom and walking up and down we bumped into a person who told us where to go as they stayed there before. Nightmare!

Clean, comfortable, great shower, taxi ride cost £12 to get into Brighton Centre, regular buses available.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable.All the staff was lovely and would not hesitate to stay again when I next find myself in brighton

It was more than just a good nights sleep I never got any, kettle didnt work in the room even though we booked a family room and said child under one, all downstairs was shut off couldnt get hot water for bottles I dont know if my daughter woke up other guests, it did ruin the stay didnt even get to have breakfast was soo tired..

Super clean room, fabulous bed and decor very classy. Staff unbelievably good. 5stars to the whole place. Will choose this brand over all others in future. Such a relaxing place to be.

Room much improved since we stayed in 2019. Clean and comfortable. Some noise early morning which could be due to age of the building?

Warm and friendly welcome although you cannot rock up and stay the night...must book on line (evenat reception. Good evening meal and excellent breakfast, attentive friendly staff. Room and ensuite was immaculately clean, welldone. Could not open windows at all plus no remote control for aircon unit so a but stuffy in the morning. If l had been able to use either then 5 stars!!

Lovely staff, great location for Brighton and the parking is really convenient the problem comes when you enter the rooms. Theyre filthy, there was a hole in our bathroom floor. The staff did their best to help and once the place has been renovated Im sure itll be fantastic but our stay sadly was not.

Good location and nice staff but so dirty! The toilet hadnt even been flushed when we arrived, the bathroom was disgustingly dirty with hairs all over the shower and mould and limescale everywhere. Floors hadnt even been hoovered, I wouldnt stay again.

My partner and I stayed here for a short break to explore Brighton. We weighed up the convenience of location to travel links and the cost of parking directly in Brighton. The Inn Keeper is perfectly situated to road travel links and accommodates free parking for your stay at the hotel. The coat to park in Brighton for a day was anywhere between £15-25 from the research we did in advance.We used the local bus service to travel from the hotel to the city centre, it is a 25min bus journey which is a 5 min walk from the hotel front door and around £2.50 for a single journey, bargain!The room was clean, tidy and had the amenities we needed for our short stay. The host at check-in was lovely and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

A great price considering they let us park the car from 11am whilst we went into Brighton which saved us a lot of money in parking! Very near and bus stop as well. Not the most up to date space but very clean which is the most important. Staff are very friendly as well.

Not the ritz but cheap and definitely cheerful. Its a nice little stop over with friendly staff and nice clean rooms.Meal in the attached Miller and Carter was lovely!

You couldnt fault the staff for friendliness and trying to sort out issues but the first double room we were put in was not habitable and yet they had another double free that they could immediately move us into that didnt have holes in the walls, stains, a bathroom down some stairs, and wasnt so dingy and small we could hardly move in it: it felt like they purposely put us in an awful room instead of a normal one. Then, in the second room, the shower didnt fit on the holder properly, there was mould around the edges, and the whole decor was very dated. Plus, a cooked breakfast is extra. For £70 a night, this felt like robbery. But, a really comfy bed and they did give us the cooked breakfast when we asked them to.

Friendly staff, we did change rooms due to the first not being up to standard, mold on the walls, dirty tiles in the shower but this was quickly resolved and put into another room which was to standard. The continental breakfast is more than adiqute. If visiting the area again i would return

I would give it less if could. We stayed here and couldnt sleep as an alarm was going off all night because someone had left a window open. No apologies in the morning. Black mould all over windows. Patches where paint had chipped off and the shower broke while we were in it. Also the cooked breakfast was really bad. The food in the restaurant the night before was good but we waited nearly an hour for it. Sorry guys but its a dont waste your money here.

Very comfortable, great room with brilliant disability access. Staff were superb. Would highly recommend. Restraunt was first class too. Well worth the money.

Came for dinner after Christmas and had a lovely meal. Only 2 of the 7 in our party chose steak which was cooked to perfection. Other meals were also very good and the vegetarian has a good choice of dishes.Bright, modern and clean. Art good, prompt service too.

Review is for restaurant and not the hotel. Good quality food and beer. Didnt have any wine. Service excellent. Dinner menu a little bit pricey but lunch menu very inexpensive. Recomended.

First impression was good, however our room was very small and so hot, we opened the window but there was an industrial fan on nearly all night, very noisy! Breakfast was continental, had to pay extra for anything cooked, with prices paid it would be nice if this was included.However first morning we were up early, plenty of fruit, croissants etc available. Next 2 mornings however we went down half hr later and hardly anything Left! 3rd morning I asked if they could put more croissants out and fruit, the girl seemed reluctant but did go and came back with a couple of bananas and apples, nothing else left. This was less than halfway through the breakfast time, people after us had no choice but toast or cereal.

We were charged just shy of £300 for 3 nights. Usually I wouldnt mind paying that sort of amount for 3 nights in a hotel/bed and breakfast but there were so many things that very much concerned me and upset me. So much so, that I have actually ended up with a list of things that completely ruined my weekend away:1. The room we were given was disgusting. If you stay here, stay at your own peril. The bathroom was dingy and dirty, I ended up cleaning the sink and the shower myself with cleaning supplies I bought from Tesco. It didnt help much though as the shower was crusty and mouldy and the wall was cracking. The floor of the bathroom was also cleaned by me but still looked stained and filthy. Someone seriously needs to speak to housekeeping as, if there was 1 thing I would have liked in our room, it was a hoover. I sat on the floor to unpack my suitcase and there was crumbs, dirt and hair all over the floor and me when I stood up. The carpet also smelled like vomit.2. I didnt request a nice view but I did expect more than I got. I wish I had taken a photo of what I saw from the window. Our view was of the grey, dirty roof and on top of the roof, lots of rusty, loud equipment including what I assumed to be a generator of some sorts? Across the roof, we also saw multiple barred up windows which were not very nice to look at and were quite unsettling. Not only that, the window hardly opened and the curtains were dusty and smelly.3. There was so much noise throughout the night. So much so that my partner wanted us to move rooms. We were unable to sleep throughout the night because of the hideous generator directly outside our window, humming and rattling constantly. I cant even describe how loud it was. Also, the staff were heard shouting to each other, laughing and speaking until late despite the fact that they have guests in the rooms upstairs. We could hear their swearing and crude jokes clear as day.

Initially had an issue with my room however Hali (I believe a manager - if not she should beswiftly moved me into a much better room.The room was clean, fresh and and everything you’d expect.Haven’t had a night sleep yet not eaten but will update the review over the next couple of days.

Comfortable hotel nicely decorated. Good continental breakfast & free parking. Excellent restaurant but the choice of non steak dishes is limited and no Specials on the menu to offer variety if staying several nights.

We had a family room and stayed here for 1 night - we paid £79 for our stay which included a continental breakfast.There is a carpark with plenty of space and check in was straight forward and easy.Our room was clean and had enough space although it did have a slightly damp aroma to it. Our window looked out a wall that was below the carpark but it let enough light into the room.The bathroom was clean and some shampoo etc was provided if needed. I was impressed that the shower water remained in the shower as I often find the bathroom floor ends up soaking wet, however it didnt keep a constant temperature and my husband and I both felt the pressure could have been better.The bed was a good size and comfortable with big puffy pillows, the sofa bed pulled out for a bed for our children - they complained and said it wasnt comfortable and in the end my husband slept there, he said it was a bit springy!Breakfast offered a lot of choice of cereals/porridge/toast or crossiants with a selection of teas coffees and juices as well as a small selection of fruit and cereal bars, you could pay extra for a cooked breakfast if you wanted.This was in a good location for getting to central Brighton (about 15/20 minutesand we would stay here again.

Not very helpful at all.I was gifted an experience voucher for a night for 2 to stay at a hotel. Chose this hotel as its in Brighton and I wanted to take the wife and kids to Sea World.Rang to see if they could allow me to upgrade to a larger family room and then I pay the difference. Sounds simple enough!!Apparently not, as the unhelpful lady on the phone just shortly said "we dont have that facility" and then didnt say anything else. No explanation or discussion about how we could make it work.Another classic example of a business turning down business rather than helping someone to be a customer. I have been to this hotel in the past with clients for meetings etc. for work. Wont be going back!!!Update: after numerous emails to various people there they are still referring to T&Cs as the reason for not allowing me to give them more money. I would understand if i was cancelling and looking for refunds etc. for a reason not to be helpful but i am actually trying to give them more money!! still not having it. Strange business model if you ask me!!

Good sized room, clean and comfy bed. Not such a clean room. Dropped black cap on the floor, came up very dusty!. Shower could do with a steam clean. Breakfast pretty poor, not a proper Continental breakfast, no English breakfast. Plenty of cereal though.

Its usually good, nice food, good atmosphere, friendly staff here and there, look out for bonnie! Reason for lower rating, bad quality steaks last time and absent service. But usually great at both of these. Sadly havent been back since!
