No. 107θ, Xining Rd, Wanhua District, Taipei City, Taiwan 108, Taipei
This trendy hotel with a colored stone facade is a 3-minute walk from Ximending shopping district, 1 km from Huaxi Street Night Market, and 9 km from the art and artifacts of the National Palace Museum.Featuring chic lighting and modern furnishings, the colorful, upscale rooms have free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and iPod docks, plus minifridges, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Upgraded rooms add free-standing tubs; some have minifridges and separate sitting rooms.A breakfast buffet, snacks, and tea and coffee are complimentary, and are served in a funky lounge. There's also an elegant lobby lounge with sofas and chandeliers.
Booked the hotel thought its fancy paid for the top VIP room, which they have claimed there were only two in the entire hotel.Did not find it amazing, there were mosquitoes, and the front desk people greeted us without smiles, they just ask my credit card as if they are robots, staffs skirts - way too short. I find the overall rather tacky, the decor or anything did not amaze me in any way, I was rather disappointed. However I suppose its in Ximending, I shouldnt expect that much out of it. Would not stay here again. It felt like a ripe off. By the way, the room we stayed on the night, they hair dryer was broken. Surprised that the housekeeping did not pick up on that.Oh forgot to also mention, the VIP room were sorta separated into a lounge section and a bedroom section. the lounge section at the time, the aircon was broken, and it wont stop blasting out cold air, what we got told was, just close the door. What a joke!
Had a great time staying in this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was excellent, the room was nice, although maybe just a little bit too small for my liking and they had a good selection of food for breakfast. If I come back to Taipei, I will definitely be looking to stay here again and I would recommend the hotel to everyone.
Location excellent , room immaculately clean.Staff was very helpful at all times.stayed in the VIP suite which was very spacious and comfortable.Only suggestion Is that staff at breakfast give notice that they will start to to take food away at 10am.I arrived 9.50am and the staff started to take milk, water cereal etc away when there was ample time to get a plate of food.Apart from that will stay at the hotel next time as very happy with our 1 weeks stay at in-house.
Its surprising to have this boutique hotel amidst the busy Ximending district. Its very nice and rooms are big enough for 3. Very comfortable and clean! Staff are very courteous and helpful.
I recommend to stay this hotel. This is my 3rd times stayed here. All the time good staffs at reception so helpful. Clean. nice design room. Good breakfast. and very good location in shopping area and night street food. πππ
Great location in Ximen, right in the middle of everything. Decent complimentary breakfast. Small boutique room but got everything we needed. The mattress is a little stiff but not that bad for our 5 nights stayed.
This is a lovely hotel in a perfect location. Everything was clean and well decorated. We arrived quite late and had no trouble checking in. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend the property to anyone visiting Taipei.
Very nice hotel, especially for the price. Room was clean, extra toiletries in the room, two water bottles per day. Breakfast was mostly Taiwanese food with some Western mixed in and good quality. The area is bustling with shops even late at night, but cant be heard in the room. Staff speaks English if required and are very helpful. Only bad note was the carpets in the room which are pretty stained.
I had an excellent stay at Inhouse Hotel Heritage. Staff was helpful and accommodating with allowing us to check in early and storing luggage. Good variety of food for breakfast. Within a 20 min walk to Taipei Main Station.
Overall I am impressed with the deco with I step in the hotel lobby. Frontage entrance of building looks modern.Greeted with warm and friendly staff everyday. My stay was pleasant with cozy and well equipped room. Location is fantastic, jus a right turn is the buzzling street. Highly recommend this hotel.
Very good hotel. Close to downtown. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Standard rooms are small but i didnβt stay at hotel to much time so itβs ok. Breakfast are very good also western style.
Hotel location is great with resturants, streetfood, shopping and metro nearby. The only minus point would be the standard deluxe rooms is quite small. With 2 big luggages open up, not much space to walk. Those who have bigger luggages might want to consider booking a bigger room.
Service, hotel amenities, everything was great! However, breakfast can be improved by having more variety. We stayed for 6 nights and all the dishes were more or less the same.
Great location in the Ximen district. Hotel is cozy and at times can here your neighbors in the hall. Price wasnt to bad and the staff was very nice. They have luggage storage available if you arrive prior to check-in or need to place luggage for early check out.
Traveled with my 1 yo baby and requested for baby cot and baby bath tub . The aforementioned are provided and they are branded stuff. Room is extremely small but location cannot get any better with XMT just right below us. Shower is special with curtain as a cover between the glass wall and the entire XMT.
The hotel was nicely furnished with chic and modern fittings, making for a very romantic atmosphere for couples. Families will appreciate it too.My favourite is the massive bathroom and bathtub. And the super comfy bed too!Just one improvement point, from both my past experiences, the bank of power sockets along one wall may not be working well. So guests may wish to avoid using those.
Excellent location with less than a min to Ximending, 5 mins walk to Ximen station exit 6. Great services received from receptionist, as well as the morning breakfast staffs.Room is small but not an issue, only felt that the quality of bed mattress can be improved further for us to sleep comfortably during our 3 nights stay.A simple type of all you can eat breakfast, but its changed differently every day. Overall, worth the stay here.
The staff is nice and the hotel is cleanοΌ4star hotel. Close to ximen town (walk 2 minutes), nearby bustling, to ximen town subway station is also close to (walk 5 minutes). Generally speaking they are all good except that sound insulation is not very good.
Loved this hotel. Stayed here only 1 night on the recommendation of friends, sadly they were booked up for later in my trip.Room was very spacious, with great facilities and a wonderful shower.Breakfast was very nice, buffet style with a mixture of Western and Asian options.Location was perfect, wonderful side streets nearby to get food, easy access to the metro, close enough to Taipei main station to make travel to/from the airport very easy, not close enough to put it in that soulless station area vibe.Price was superb, especially given all the above. Wish I could have stayed here for longer!
Hotel was near to Ximending and about 6 mins walk to Ximen Mrt. Conveniently located. Daily breakfast was provided, food were average but the coffee were good. Room was just nice for 2 pax. Taking lift was pleasant with music.
Impatient of the staff to explain the inquiry by customer. I lost the room card and need to pay penalty for not returning 2 card. The staff explain if i found the card can return to them and request for refund. The staff ask me want to pay by cash or credit card. Before I answer her question , i asked how can I claim back if im back to my country. She just ignore my question and repeat again to ask me want to pay by cash or credit card. The ignorance by the staff is a very rude to customer in this service industry.
I am a returning guest of this hotel for 2 reason . Fundamentally, the practical side of a hotel with ground level access lobby is quite hard to come by in Ximen area. Especially one that directly faces the main street. You could simply drive up , pick up or drop off your luggage at its door step. Most hotel in Ximen area have their lobby on the second floor and up. Usually resides on top of other establishment. Others, even with ground floor access was not located near a vehicular road . Most of Ximen alley are restricted for car access. The second reason is the hotel decor styles and taste. Although its starting to lost it charm as many competitor are getting into the market.I loves the amenities and breakfast the hotel provide. However they should really extend their lounge timing at level 2 till midnight. If Im not wrong they offer you free drinks and snacks at the breakfast area from 1300 till 2100. Most of the travellers are out these timing, it render this initiative a redundant waste of resources. On average I return back to the hotel beyond the 2100 mark.Rooms can be a little cramp depending on your room choices. The last complaint is the long waiting time for the limited elevator at peak hour. Other than that, all is fine.Overall a very strategically located property. Food, drinks and shops are readily located around the corner. Subway is also a few minutes walk away.
I stayed at the room for disability on the 2nd floor. Upon reservation, there was no remark stating the actual condition of the room which is next to the kitchen which serves breakfast daily from 6am.Though the nightly room rate is attractive but I prefer to pay a bit more to stay at a more quiet room. Also, there is no mirror in the room which I didnβt expect.
I showed up later in the evening. The front desk made it simple and easy, just the way I like it. Got my keys and walked towards the elevator noticing the boutique style they got going on. Feels good. Taking the elevator up you listen to some nice beats (love it). I got in my room and fell on my bed. Looking around, I love how cozy this makes me feel. LOVE THE BED! The batheroom was just as cool. Iβve never seen a toilet with so many buttons on it, took me like 10 minuets to figure it out, best ten minutes of my day. Itβs close to everything (get the MRT Cardand youβre unstoppable. I enjoyed my time here and I know you will too.Cheers,Corey
The rooms are small, but quaint and not without personality. The location is perfect and the view of streets below kept me entertained. The staff was great and my overall exp was good. The downsides (but, I would stay here again- The bed was hard (ish), which can be expected in Asia. Some hooks or someplace to hang wet towels after a shower would be great. the elevator is.. so... slooow. There is only one elevator and it seems to stop at every floor (even when no one is there).
Hotel: The service provided is very good. Staff are friendly, professional, and helpful. The checking in and out process is quick and easy. Basic amenities like a business area and some lounging area. Room amenities are adequate with proper shower and toiletries kit.Food: The space is pretty small, so it might get a little crowded. However, the breakfast is quite good. Although the food variety is not much and it is the same almost everyday but they make an effort to change the style of cooking. Overall tastes really good.Location: The hotel is situated right at Ximending shopping district so it is super convenient at night to go walk around to shop and eat. MRT is also located just 5mins away. If youre driving you can park at various carparks around. Very convenient.
inhouse Hotel sits in a vibrant and bustling part of town. Our room was small, but for two of us, the room was perfect. Staff are great and free breakfast was ample. Download the Taipei Metro app and all of Taipeiβs goodies are a stones throw away.
I have stayed here a number of times and booked again for 8&9th June ( actually moved from another hotel . When I checked in they said they didnt have a room for my second night and I would have to find another hotel! I insisted they sort it out as not my fault and then magically they found a room for me for both nights! When I checked out they asked for my room key but then said I had been given 2 and would charge me for the other room card if I couldnt find it ! Never experienced that before ever! Eventually they said they wouldnt charge this time. No " how was your stay " , " everything OK ". Front line staff need to be much more welcoming if they want returning customers. I will still use this hotel again but hope for a better welcome!
I would strongly recommend staying here when you are in Taipei. Its just 10 minutes walk to Ximen station. The hotel has a nice lobby and the room is very clean and modern. All my request was granted and I had a fantastic stay. Will be back in the future.
Overall, a clean and cosy stay :Front desk staffs were not presence though at late hours hence a possible access of non-guests (this may be a problem as its unlike other hotels where other personnel were there all the time)
The service was impeccable.Wish there was a no breakfast option so it will be a little bit cheaper to stay around but I appreciate the free lounge service from 1300 to 2100 although I didnt use it at all during my stay.
Hi, since it mark on the hotel official website that the room included two adult and one child with breakfast, I only mark down the remark I get extra one kid under three years old. But once I check in, it charges additional 1000 for my child and no charges for another one under three years old. I think it is unreasonable to charge. If the room not included my child, why it allow me to book and I havent receive any feedback (email/callfrom your hotel and the hotel staff told me I have no choice to add this additional charges. I feel very disappointed for the hotel arrangement and the hotel staff is impolite too. Also, even I paid extra 1000, the room is only two single bed and small room, it suppose for two single adult only. I feel very bad experience and impression toward the hotel.Even I want to complain this arrangement on hotel website too.Hope your hotel and hotel staff can improve.
This hotel has an excellent location in Ximending with all you need just around the corner. A 5 minute walk gets you to the Ximen MRT station. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Some of the standard rooms are quite small, but its still good value for money. The breakfast room on the 2nd floor is open the hold day, and a good place to relax, work and enjoy some snacks.
Location is ok but the street is very noisy at night. I could hear the sounds of music coming from outside while I was on the 7th floor. The decor is pretty tacky. Its as if the designer looked at dozen trendy locations for inspiration and then decided to copy all of them. The room we stayed in (a double for 2 adultshad no door to the bathroom. You can hear *everything* going on inside so youll need to be very comfortable with whoever youre staying with. Functionally, the elevator is probably the worst part of the hotel. The single elevator is slow and you can be left waiting for a very long time.
Decent hotel in a very convenient location, two blocks away from an MRT. Good for midnight snacking as there were still lots of food stalls around past midnight. Would recommend for travelers below 40 as the area is a little more geared towards younger people, though its good value for the price. Hotel itself had a passable breakfast buffet and a decent room size compared to some Asian sized hotel rooms. Bed was comfortable enough and clean, though the room might have been a little dusty? Overall quite a pleasant stay, would recommend if on a budget.
This hotel was a very good surprise. Very quiet even if located right next to the Ximending market. The breakfast is plenty and good, with western and chinese dishes and the rooms are so clean. The only drawback is the elevator that can be crowded at some hours.
The hotel is located at a super convenient spot, just 5mins walk away from Ximen station. Nearby are loads of restaurants and convenient stores. The staff are also very warm and welcoming, explaining to us all the services available to us when we arrived. Stayed in the villa room, quite spacious for two. Would definitely stay here again.
I stayed in this amazing hotel , especially, I dined in the restaurant on the second floor where I liked it so much. The atmosphere is very good. Even though the breakfast is kinda boring, the staff are very kind and passionate. That just made my day. Thanks for their well-done service, beautiful smile and kindness. I will definitely come back next time when I visit Taipei again.
Excellent location close to MRT, great shopping and food. Room was cool with retro fridge and crushed velvet drapes that blocked out all the light to make for a great night of sleep. Complimentary breakfast was tasty especially the croissants and frittata. Definitely will be staying here again!
A nice, modern hotel with good service at the front desk, great location, the most comfortable bed, and also very polite cleaning ladies. It is let down by having ONLY ONE super slow lift services every floor, making going in and out of your room a big hassle, and a few other basics. The young tall floor manager on 2F breakfast floor needs to lose his arrogant attitude. I asked him if they have soy sauce. He gave me a not very nice look, just stood there and point to the other side of the lower corner shelf and coldly said "there!". He wasnt doing any tasks at that moment, basically just stood there being bored. Anyone who knows anything about service would at least lead me there, or go get it for me. And what about politeness? I never saw him greeting any of the guests! My seven other friends who were staying in the other three rooms said the same things about him.Average breakfast considered Taipei has so much good food. My room on 7th Floor has a very small shower room and very low water pressure, so the shower was not very satisfying. All the staircases are stuffed full of laundry, this make it hard if you need to use the stairs to get to your room quickly.
Decent hotel. Small room (may be all hotel rooms in XiMenDing are small). Booked a double bed room, bed size was actually a Queen size. Swift check in and check out. Good all time coffee and snacks. Breakfast was terrible considering the relatively higher price, especially price we paid during the peak of Oct, little choice of food, terrible porridge and side dish, fruit-only apple and pineapple, bread and cereal are really a joke. Location of this hotel is good for shopping. Need to walk about 10 mins from XiMen MRT station, if carry luggage, better take taxi direct from Taipei main station, for just TWD100-110 on meter.
The room was cozy and clean. My only suggestion is to add some more viand in your breakfast buffet. Other than that, everything was perfect - from the helpful staff to the proximity of the hotel to everything...
Good location, short walk from train station. You will not go hungry or bored in the area. Our elite room was spacious, clean. I love the mirrors in the bathroom by the way - great for ladies! Only issue is there is only one lift and can take a while during busy times.
Beautiful hotel, but cant easy to be identified from hotel door.Next time, please do not fine if customer lost his room-card.It is not convenience because the room has no business deskYour room-mat make the bed beautiful.
Cosy lobby, very friendly & helpful staffs. Room a little small but just enough of space. Very clean and smell good with aroma essence sticks which give out soothing smell. Bath room supplied with quality Locitaine toiletries. The water pressure is just sufficient to give you a good bath shower. Wifi in room super speed. Guest can get free flow of coffee tea & water supplied at the second floor executive club.
A few blocks north of Ximen subway. In the heart of a modern shopping and dining area. Hotel is clean and recently renovated. Rooms and baths are compact. Nice breakfast and lounge area. Good breakfast and simple afternoon snacks provided.
Nice boutique hotel.Clean, kind, good location, resonable price.Food is also nice!I really recommend this hotel for all.Room is not that big but nothing inconvenient.Just outside everywhere shopping store.
+Excellent and friendly service.Super convenient.2-minute walk to Ximen Station.Less than one minute walk to snacks, eateries, shops, shopping and movie theatre.High tech rooms.Branded hotel toiletries.Clean and well-maintained.-Rooms are a little small.
Awesome hotel located in an awesome area of Taipei. The Area:The area is located in the middle of a shopping district with a variety shops; from food to clothing. This area seems like a fun area to get loss in.The Hotel:Who ever designed the hotel really made everything work. It is super modern but without the cold feeling. A lot of colors were used on the floors, walls, and ceiling in combination with textures.
Its excellent and comfortable. Though the price may be a bit high, the quality of this hotel is awesome. To my very surprise, when I checked in, the woman working at the counter switched my room to VIP room without reasons explained. Lucky me. Anyway, the room I stayed is comfy and nice. Wanna stay there again and again.
