Amazing place to get in touch with the nature and have a refreshing swim in one of the lakes, the water is super transparent and clean. Go early in the morning and you will find the place almost empty. Note: dont feed the animals you may find (fish and turtles)

Beautiful place. Go without a tour and if there are people in first lagune go till second. Steps are slippery, be careful and now they open at 9 unless you have a tour. Can pay with credit card. Saw turtles, tilapia,. Iguana and variety of big and small birds.

This place is such a relaxing beautiful hidden spot. It was near my airbnb and water is fresh and cold. Good walking trails. Lot of greenery. Dont recall paying much. Highly recommend.

Very beautiful to see. Wear good shoes for the small hike as there are roots and rocks that jut out from the path.

Beautiful reserve, we went on a excursion which we would throughly recommend, we walked through the reserve to a natural pool which you could swim in,then we went on a catamaran through the Caribbean seas where we went for a swim and snorkeling.

Nice place to visit while in Punta Cana. It cost about $50usd pp. if you don’t know how to swim my suggestion is you bring a life vest cause it’s pretty deep in most areas so you probably can’t just hang around in shallow waters. The hike is a nice walk but you have to bring repellent for the big mosquitoes.

Our tour guide was skinny. He was amazing and made the day very fun! The lagoon was beautiful and we will definitely be going again once we are in Dominican Republic again.

Go. Go now. Dont even question it.$50/person, if you are not a guest of one of their hotels. We took a taxi there - super easy. And did not do a tour - you can enter and wander around at your own pace.It was quiet earlier, then got pretty busy around 12. But there was so much space, the trails were amazing, the swimming and the lagoons are BREATHTAKING.If you love nature, swimming, Instagram no-filter worthy photos, and dont want to do one of the expensive/busy tours in Punta Cana - this place is for you.

Entrance is 50 usd & you cannot go on a scooter without a helmet. However, its really nice. Also, road to get here is a little wrong on Maps, so better ask

Beautiful. A really nice walk past a couple of lagunes in some of which so can swim. Along the way there is a lovely spot of beach where you can have a dip in the ocean.Go early to avoid potential crowds but the parking lot is tiny so it can’t get really crowded.

We did the swim with horses tour and it was extremely professional and fun. The horses were healthy horses and the guides were very helpful and friendly. The walking trails and the grounds were easy walking with not a lot of random steps roots or rocks or other trip hazards. I have poor eyesight and so this is an important factor for accessibility for me. The property was well maintained and they had a very nice setup so you had everything you needed. The weather did not cooperate, we got rained on almost the entire time, yet we still had a lot of fun

Worthwhile trip, the water is beautifully clear, take and underwater camera, mosie replant and avoid the excursions, best to either stay at the resort attached or catch a taxi there.

Dazzling and indigenous place no wonder they were happy. It feels magical! Its so beautiful even the roads. The natural subterranean water pools are amazing. The turtles and fishes comes to welcome you. Not sure if you can feed them, we didnt just in case but I guess you can ask at the reception. There are 3 lagoons in which you can bathe or swim and only at the last one, the big one (Guamáyou can jump from the side deck. This one also has 2 round floats because its the deepest one.We loved it!You can see it for yourself in the pictures added.Just a couple reminders:You have to pay for entrance usually between US$50 and US$90 for private tours. Better if you make a reservation. And if you have friends or staying at one of the hotels around you can get in for free or paying US$15 each person.Cant forget your goggles, mosquitos repellent, sunblock and water shoes.Go as light as you can because youll have to walk not much but at least 10 or 15 minutes. I upload a map photo of the whole place. They give you 3 hours to do it. You can choose the best way to go but I recommend you go 1 by 1 and then enjoy the last one. Theres a way where you can get out of the reserve and go to a beautiful cove beach, the one in the photos below. The customer service given by Ángela was 👌🏾And just be open to the embrace nature at its best!Totally recommended!!!

It’s beautiful here but it doesn’t worth $50. Even the guy working there said that it should be $10 but not $50. It’s probably expensive because it’s within the resort. Laguna guamá is the biggest and most beautiful one. I stayed in this place for around 2 hours. The water is a bit cool if there’s no sun. There’s no restroom within this place. There’s an exit to the beach but it’s only accesible by the hotel guests.

The nature trail is really nice! It takes you out all the way to the beach. There are a few springs that you can swim in. But the main one is the best. Comparable to Florida springs! Maybe a little warmer. Crystal clear water!

Lagoons are great, water is around 20 degrees. You need around 1-2 hours to walk around and swim. Good for kids and with a bit of effort even with strolley. However, 50 usd per person (kids over 1 year pay the sameis a way too much for what they offer.

This place is MAGICAL, specially the big lagoon. It’s a 20 minutes walk to get to the big one, but the others are pretty nice to.Entrance: $50. Employees: $15. But if you stay at one of PC hotels, you can go for free. You can see fish and turtles and feed them (bring them some food -bread or fruits)

Amazing spot in nature. Carefully managed and preserved. You can actually swim in crystal clear fresh cold water within a short walk in nature from the beach, say 5 - 10 minutes.

It´s a great place. The extremely high entrance fee 50 USD per person doesn’t seem to be adequate for 3km walk in the forest, but helps to keep uniqueness of this spot. Firstly it spares those who are willing to pay of the crowds, you’ll be there almost alone, secondly it prevents nature from being spoiled by people who are simply bored with idling on the beach, and it can also prevent the islet of wilderness from being destroyed and replaced by another useless buildings. Swimming in the ponds is lovely.

Many trails with birds, three cenotes for swimming, clear water crystal, fish and small turtles, use repellent for mosquitoes in the trails, free access for residents in the hotel near like Westin and other. You can use snorkels. Maravillosas las lagunas para nadar y estar en contacto con la naturaleza, 100 % recomendable visitar

Love the lagoons. Didnt see much for birds or critters but we did see fish and turtles. Swam in the crystal clear water and enjoyed the quiet. This is truly an amazing place and a must-see. To swim in water so clear that you can see the scales on the fish is just amazing. The water is so clear that it appears that its only 3 ft deep when its probably closer to 10 or more in places. If you are staying at the Westin admission is free as well as the shuttle there. We brought bug spray but didnt need it....its worth taking anyhow. Seriously this is a must-see even if you dont swim in the lagoon.

This park offers a easy (flathike, with various lagoons, many of witch youre allowed to bathe yourself at. Were not staying at any hotel, so we had to pay around 50$ each to access it. This reserve is inside a private resort property, so youll have to go through a control checkpoint if youre going by car. Im mentioning this because it wasnt immediately obvious to me, so might help others.Id say this place is definitely worth a visit, very beautiful and you can finish it all in well less than 2h of you wish to visit the whole hiking loop.

A fun and quick little walking trip (45 minutes walking and maybe an hour of staying at the pools observing and/or swimmingto experience Punta Cana in a little bit of a more natural light. The crystal clear aqua colored pools provide three separate private areas to swim within. Also, some of the pools have turtles and fish that are also fun to look at, but you cannot swim within.
