Indiana Tandoori Restuarent & Bar Main street Namaka Nadi - Indian restaurant in Nandi, Fiji
Iβve been trying to find the best curry in Brighton & Hove for a long time. Finally I can say Iβm extremely happy with the one I had this evening. Amazing food & service.
The curry is average as best, lacks real quality. Gentleman next to our table found a knots of hair in his food which he made a fuss off throughout the restaurant. Made me think twice about eating my food. Wont be returning
Really nice restaurant white a friendly service and atmosphere. Very reasonable prices & great food. Will be my go to spot from now on & will be recommending Indiana.
Excellent Food and Service. Highly Recommended!
The problem I had was they handed us the plates to find a space on the table if they couldnt put ot down how could we

Grabbed a takeaway from here on spec. The Chicken Ceylon was delicious, portion sizes were generous and the food was freshly cooked. Will definately be getting my take away from there again!
Really nice food, good service, and all for a pretty reasonable price. Used to come here a lot some years back, and returning was exactly like I remembered it, quality of food hasnt dropped, and staff are always friendly and generous, eveb offering a drink on the house. Definitely recommend for Indian cuisine.Update: returned again, really nice service, polite staff, good food, enjoyed it. Will definitely be returning in the future.
Go there all the time lovely food
Brilliant as always, great waiters, amazing food and a lovely atmosphere
Me and my wife enjoyed alot with Indiana, Friendly staff and affordable price.ππ
Full of flavour, fantastic garlic naan. Best in Brighton so far!

Heat food . Have been here a few times. Nice π₯π₯π₯ curry
Service was excellent. Food was nice, not outstanding, but very nice.
Great service and excellent food at a reasonable price.
It was totally rubbish. We went there with family today and they disrespected us alot. The man who were the manager agree that he was drunk on duty and the man with white curly hair was so aggressive as soon as we finished our dinner we asked him to pack the remaining stuff he said to take the rubbish also along with us. Our kids got scared seeing their behavior. Being an Indian we decided to go to some Indian cousine but they are just making money at the cost of disrespecting their own community.Sorry to say u guys dont even deserve 1star πππππ
Had a lovely traditional Indian meal here. It did not disappoint will definitely return when next in Brighton/Hove
Good service. This evening, however, I couldnt be bothered to cook,so I walked three minutes around the corner.I couldnt eat it all, although Ive been going there on and off for four years or so. Ive just come home, went to clean my teeth and was suddenly sick as a dog. I had the Pudina chicken. When I called them they had remembered me and they assured me this will be taken off the menu until this was sorted out. My point is that this didnt seem to be a surprise. I was offered a free main course next time I go in. As if.
Been many times but this was the worst. Not a busy night and maybe that was the problem. Sons curry tasted very strange, when pointed out nothing was done. I though he might be being fussy bit when I tried it he was not wrong! Disappointing (at best). Well be searching for a new regular place next time.
Superb family run restaurant, friendly and attentive, delicious and memorable cuisine, generous and quality in every division. Will be back again very soon.
So pleased they have finally decided to deliver, even though itβs through UberEats. Have been visiting this restaurant for many years. The food is always fresh and delicious. Definitely try if you havenβt already.
A great restaurant with great service. Every time we come here the people are very friendly, service is quick and the food is great. Weve been trying many different dishes on the menu and have never been disappointed!During the November lockdown we will definitely be using their take away and/or delivery service!
Met friends for a really nice curry at a very reasonable price service. Service was very good but not in your face. Will definitely go again soon.
Good food when visited before , waiters good but went for a takeaway recently and the boss was rude , wont be back.
Try the prawn Ceylon. Very nice. Not too much coconut and the spices were perfect. There were spicier dishes if you wanted but was wonderfully just right.
Taking advantage of the government scheme, decided to book and dine here and was not disappointed. Was really good to see the scheme working, the place was full. The staff were very efficient and service was excellent considering how busy it was. Lots of flavour in all the dishes ordered. Will definitely be returning back.
The reason Iβm giving it a 2 star review, is due to the fact that there is poor customer service. Me and my family had to wait 50 minutes for the food to be finally ordered, and to make matters worse, there were only a few families in the restaurant. After being served, we asked for the air-con to be on (understandably because what do you expect after sitting for basically an hour in the same place on a hot Summerβs dayand well... the air-cons werent working. The food in the restaurant was average but that doesnt make up for the poor customer service.
Delicious!!A group of 8 of us went for a meal on Friday night. The food was absolutely delicious! I had chicken tikka masala which I get every time I go out for a curry and it was the best one Ive ever had. My friend had the Shaslick Jhool (recommendedwhich was really really nice as well. The restaurant was extremely busy so I would advise to book as we had. Despite this though the service was quick and waiters attentive. We didnt have to wait long for the food or for any drinks we ordered.Value for money was great!I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I cant wait to go back soon :)
Never paid bills for getting appliances fixed, then argued about it when they eventually returned my calls after 5 months! If their food is as bad as their arrogance, lies and overall awful attitude, Id give this place a swerve.
Good for Gluten Free!Visited late in the evening and received politely served and a well presented traditional meal. Well spiced with quality, flavourful Lamb and Chicken.
All ways have used and loved this restaurant ,how ever a tad disappointed this evening , service indifferent ,food nothing like it has been , different chefs? made a point of going with friends , even though it was bucketing it down , hey ho , will try again mabe in the summer
Fabulous food, great atmosphere, lovely people. Had our Xmas work meal here tonight, absolutely first class. Catered for all 15 of us, no complaints from anyone.
My Dads a stickler for an Indian and if he says its good then its very very good. Great service, good value and top quality food. Onion Bajis lovely and crispy and the platter was perfect to try different dishes. My old man has already said were coming here again when they next visit me in Brighton
Appalling service. Lacking of organisation- After we ordered the drinks, another waiter came up to us and asked what we wanted to drink again, in a very impolite manner. He was repeating the word drinks loudly as if it was our fault that we didnt understand him. It was an atrocious experience.
Food not great this evening and service quite rushed and pressing !The food here is generally some of the better Tandoori to be had in Brighton&Hove, although still not a patch on South Indian Cuisines and even the likes of Murch Massala in Norbury, London ( really authentic and well seasoned, tasty food ). I dont think the Tandoori scene in Brighton is very good at all, sub-standard and drastically over-priced in most cases as a matter of fact. Ive tried most establishments here over the last nine years and they in the main serve unmarinated, tasteless slopp, quite literally ! I would say 95% of what is served up in Brighton and Hove is little more than an embarrassment to genuine Indian food. So many eateries here have been getting away with this rubbish, but its way past time many of them up their game or learn how to cook properly.
Old school Indian restaurant. Food was plentiful but fairly bland. Could have been spiced better.
A good friendly Indian restaurant, the usual menu but cooked well and sensibly priced. The staff are great and friendly which all adds to a lovely experience.
Boss is rude. Waiters are very nice, but I do not feel comfortable being there. He was speaking loudly at the telephone and asked a customer to be quiet (in an unpolite way), even if he was the only customer in the restaurant. I will not come back, even if I like the food.
Medioker , crappy and rude service. This is not a Indian restaurant in the first place. This is bangladeshi restaurant and they are ahsamed of themselves to hoard their names. Food is just okay And nothing compared to actual Indian taste.
Absolutely fabulous and exceptional staff. The food is second to none. A great evening was had by all. Have been eating there for over 10 years.
Been using Indiana for years. My favourite Indian in Brighton and Hove by a long way. Family owned business that take pride in what they do. Great for taking a group of friends and also take away. They offer a discount for take aways over the standard pricing. Also offer free drinks on the house at the end of your meal. Would recommend highly.
lovely staff and food.. decor a bit tired but nothing that would stop me going back. In a town overflowing with disappointing pretentious Indian food, its a breath of fresh air.
Lovely food, great service, was a little quiet when we first got there but atmosphere got much better toward the end of our meal
Amazing food and lovely service saved my night after a mess up with just eat almost ruined it. Been here many times before and never been disappointed the food is fresh and tasty! Would highly recommend!
They have the best chapaties in Brighton, home made when you order. Good friendly service. Curries are standard Indian fare but well done.
Nice atmosphere. Food tasted a bit bland. Loved their garlic and chilli nan. Overall good but not outstanding.
Food was very quick and delicious, portions were generous without making you feel bloated. Spices are very English, so if you are a fan of a warm curry go for a hot curry not a medium curry. Staff were very welcoming and on a Saturday evening it filled up about an hour after opening. The rice was very expensive, we thought for a main dish the rice would be included however it was not, it was Β£2.90 per portion of rice (one small platewhich is quite a large amount to miss out from the advertised cost. That being said the cost was only Β£24.30 for two of us with two mains and three accoutrements (with only tap waterso it was affordable.
Wonderful.π Friendly reception on entering the restaurant. Attentive waiters and even the owner has time to chat to you. Wonderful food at competitive prices. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
Best Indian food I have had!! Been eating here for about 6 years. Love it and the staff are always so lovely. Highly recommend!
