Indian River Preserve Golf Club - Country club in Titusville, United States
We actually came to the golf club not to play golf but to have lunch because we were in the areaThe food was very good we had a variety of dishes everybody was pleased with what they got and the pricing was reasonableThe great thing about a golf club is that theres always plenty of parking you never have to worry about where your car is gonna beAfter all golf clubs have lots of land
Outstanding service and a beautiful course in a very secluded setting, updated recently the greens are even better now, still my favorite course!
Great place for a day of golf. Staff is outstanding.
Food and service good. But they no longer serve brunch on weekends. They need to upgrade their website. Would have been nice to know that before showing up for breakfast at 10:00.
Always a great time when we come out to play this golf course. Punched the greens about 1 1/2 weeks ago so rolling pretty true. Tee boxes were in ok shape and fairways were pretty solid. Lots of challenge to this tract so bring your A game when you come. They also offer golf and lunch for $5 extra. Came back 6/25/22!
tee Boxes suck. Greens are very nice fairways are above average
Needs work! Nice layout just needs a lot of TLC. It does look like they are trying.
A very good challenging course courses in good shape outstanding Buffalo chicken saladJust finished playing this course againApril 29th night 2022This place is now like playing on a goat farm But the food was still good
Nice course and nice people. The Tee Boxes could be a bit better.
Ive been to several large functions here as well as sleeping at Andris restaurant. It never disappoints.
I was there for a special dinner. The waitresses were excellent the food was excellent it was buffet style and the room was beautiful and it was pretty watching the sun go down over the golf
Husband and I went tonight for Prime Rib dinner. It was awesome. Will definitely go back. Its a hidden jewel.
When this course first opened it was one of the nicest courses in the area now bad needs a lot of work greens are inconsistent and the fairways have no grass youre getting off at 90% of the time
Great improvements from two years ago. Tee boxes were well manicured, cleaned up, and over seeded with rye grass for the winter.Fairways were in fair condition. The greens were very acceptable and the putts ran smoothly. It is obvious the course is making a comeback. Personnel in the pro shop have a great attitude. Made for an enjoyable day.
nice course . . . very interesting layout and enjoyable ! facilities are beautiful! the only negative . . . the wait on #9 was beyond anything I have ever seen and Ive played courses all over the USA, but I will definitely be back and as a side note the all the staff were awesome !
Course layout is nice ,conditions are decent , pace of play is atrocious. Why have a starter if he doesn’t actual START people… ridiculous 4 twosome’s in a row the first group walking.. we took it upon are self to allow the group behind us to link up with us just to try and slow down and still ended up waiting on every shot on every hole .. two groups walked off.. Get a ranger and tell your starter to do his job instead of hanging outside the clubhouse talking.. The best part was the price and the food at the restaurant.. The chips and salsa are the best I ever had Amazing.
Fun enough layout from what I was able to play. Greens slow but true. Friday pace fine until 7. Now two groups on the tee. Slow and stacked to the clubhouse. Make the turn without a stop and a foursome has jumped in between the group Ive been following and myself. Now one group teeing of with three groups waiting at 10. No ranger/marshal. Management? Course just taking money. Stopped after nine. Better things to do than wait 15-20 minutes at each tee. Never coming back.
Pace of play was so slow. It took us 6.5 hours to finish 18 holes. I called club house and Ranger came out to watch my group from a distance for 3 holes and left. I will never return and will NOT recomend this golf course to anyone.
People had told us that the Prime Rib was great, so wife and I made reservations for dinner. We arrived and were seated where we wanted, in the middle of the dinning area. We ordered wine and enjoyed that for a few minutes, then placed our order for the Prime Rib dinner with mashed potatoes, beans and a side order of French Onion Soup. When the dinner arrived, I could tell immediately that something was wrong - very wrong. The meat looked dry. When I cut into it, it was tough, and dry, and lacked flavor - just a bad Prime Rib! I ate just a few bites and concentrated on the mashed potatoes, which were very good, as well as the beans and French Onion Soup. I would post photos of it all, but we left our phones in the car so we could enjoy an uninterrupted meal. We took the Prime Rib home for the dog. The grandson showed up and saw the meat and wanted to eat it(hes 17 yrs old and will eat ANYTHING). Well, he took one bite and declined to eat any more of it. The dog ate it. We wont be going back for the Prime Rib. Cant speak to the rest of the menu. I dont recommend this place for the Prime Rib.
This is an absolutely perfect place for any event! We hosted a baby shower in August 2021 and everything was fantastic! The director of sales, Jessica, is an absolute joy to work with. Jessica made securing the venue a breeze and she was there for any questions, worked with us to accommodate all of our ideas and allowed us plenty set up time for the shower. The event space is large with gorgeous floor to ceiling views of the golf course bringing in so much light. The private bar and entrance to the event space made it a breeze for guests as they were arriving and enjoying the shower! Jessica was able to add chair sashes and mirrors for the centerpieces that gave the event tables a beautiful extra touch. All of the guests raved about the expertly prepared food and the entire staff was top notch and extremely friendly. The facility is very handicap accessible and there is also plenty of parking. If you are looking to host any type of event, I highly recommend choosing Indian River Preserve Golf Club.
The Chuck Strong Hermanson Golf Tournament!!! Hoss Reeder ripping one down the middle to start it off for us! Finished -5.. Love you Uncle Chuck!! I still vote for you as the baddest mofo in town!!#chuckstrong
Traveling south down I-95 about 15 minutes ago, 3:40 pm on May 30, 2021, and low and behold, a dad gum golf ball about took our windshield and us out!!!!! Had my husband not been as aware of his surroundings while driving he could have been hurt seriously, so could I and a lot of other drivers around us!! The ball was coming straight down towards the drivers side windshield. Indian River, you need to put up a netting system because the trees evidently arent working at that hole that lies beside the highway there!!!
Everything here is beautiful. Although the Andrei’s segment would really benefit from a drink menu. When you ask for one they say “it’s a full bar” however, when you order a drink you have to listen to the bartender make things difficult for your waitress over what “bullshit you’ve concocted”
We love the course layout, challenging and definitely not boring. The people are even better. The pro shop staff filled the on cart cooler with ice, and was super friendly and helpful. Lunch after the round was delicious, with a nice menu and good portions. Our server was Danni and she is so nice that wed go back just to see her. The course needs rain, badly. This place is a solid 4.5 stars if the course and range conditions were even average. Grass is sparse to non-existent on some tee boxes and fairways overall have very thin grass and tight lies or hard pan, even when chipping near greens. Green were aerated and sanded but we knew that when we made the tee time so no worries about putting conditions. Well definitely be back.
Wednesday night is prime rib night you have to call ahead to get your piece of prime rib I cant believe that they just order enough for if you make a reservation well we did and when we get there I was told that if you wanted to buy an additional to the 10 oz piece of prime rib you could for $2 an ounce so I wanted a 16 oz piece of prime rib well they couldnt do that and then. The waitress needed more training she was a nervous wreck or appetizer came out rather quick and then our salad came out right after that we werent done eating the appetizer and then our dinners came out well they put them under a heat lamp in the kitchen by the time we got done eating our salads when the my state my prime rib came out it was dry and tasteless not worth the money and the people there have to spend more time training their people we will be back
Hello all, this is a great golf facility. The golf course and practice area are well maintained and I cant say enough about the pro shop and most of all the staff. Everyone that works there was very nice, knowledgeable and very helpful. The restaurant and staff, there are also included. Great food and great service. I hope everyone that reads this review will give this place a try. Im sure you will not regret playing here. Good luck and safe travels to all.
I play here quite often, and still cant believe they charge $40 to play after 2:00. I wouldnt mind it if the greens were in good shape! Theyve always had the worst greens! I dont care about the fairways or the tee boxes. But the greens? Thats what makes a great course! The absolute worst! Water them for Christ sake!! Come on!!! I wont be playing here for a very long time!
Andreis is the name of the restaurant at the clubhouse. We eat here often. It is a nice place with great food, fast and friendly service. Pleasant surroundings and very clean. I recommend this place if you want a good meal with delicious food in a nice atmosphere.
Back nine is excellent with no houses and still feel like your in a preserve. Front 9 is a little rough with all the residential construction and houses. If they made every hole like the 18th it would be 5 stars as the fairway and green is perfect ...other holes need some TLC. Love the layout and can be very challenging playing from the back tees.
One of most challenging courses. Seems as if the wind is always blowing therefore making club choice very interesting. To start, the clubhouse is very very nice with great food and outstanding service. The fish and chips are huge! The driving range, putting greens and chipping area are very well equipped and maintained. On to the course itself...very challenging and plays long due to the wind. The layout of most of the holes present some sort of challenge that garners thought rather than just swinging for the fence. Example, a short par 4 if you can hit it long like Bryson or a nice easy 5 wood and take danger out of play? Very well maintained fairways and greens. Pin placement can be a little tricky, sometimes their placed like a Sunday tournament. Long challenging par 3s and lots of water throughout the course. Lastly, be aware of "Big Betsy" Hovering and sunbathing between holes 11 and 18, shes a real looker at over 12ft long!!!
Front 9 looks like a bombed-out war zone mixed with a construction site. Back nine is ok. Couple interesting holes. Drastically better than the front. Overpriced for the poor quality. No masks in sight at the pro shop (2 employees or other customersand restaurant. 1 star is far too generous.. If there were an option for zero stars, that would be my selection.
Course is in poorly maintained condition. T-boxes are very rough, fairways have lots of different mixes of grass. The greens have mixed grass as well, but the roll ok. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant and bar close at 4:00. Kind of unusual for a golf course.
The course is currently in the worst shape of its life - down the first tee is a building site, down the second is a flood - down the third is the other side of the building site - paths are a mess - greens are awful - at one point there was a large industrial hose spitting water all over the fairway (think it was the 5th).Just an absolute mess - I just moved to FL from NYC where Im used to NYC Public Course Golf - nothing in NYC is close to this bad.Find a building site and play there - save you the drive and the $29 - I was so excited coming here - 2 hr drive to this, so disappointing.
I do say every time I book a tee time or work with anyone in the pro shop it’s always a amazing experience. There always so warm welcoming and amazing staff course is always in decent condition and fun to play. Food is good too!
Our dinner and wine were excellent. Great job Chef Becky. We had prime rib and tripletail.
Visited Andreis restuarant in the clubhouse and it was very very nice. Had a Buffalo chicken salad substituting grilled chicken (no breading). It was big and delicious. If youre on South Beach Diet this is for you, just be sure to use the oil and vinegar dressing! My wife had the steak and cheese sandwich with fries, couldnt eat it all and said it was fabulous. Friendly efficient and attentive staff. Social distanced.
Pretty nice track especially for $34 summer rate. All greens and fairways are in great shape. Tee boxes were decent. They have a few that need grass. Very nice clubhouse and pro shop. Driving range was all sand.
Great course in pretty good shape. Staff was friendly and obviously appreciated our driving a distance to play. Buy the lunch special thats available. I had a Cuban sandwich. Excellent.Well be going back.
We really like this course and play here 2-3 times per week when we vacation in Cocoa Beach. The greens are fast and the course has plenty of well-placed bunkers and hazards to make it a fun challenge for all levels of players. The winds like today can play havoc so come prepared. The staff is very nice and helpful, food is good and overall the course offers a great value. We look forward to our return later this year.
The service was awesome. The food was great. The music was very good. O ly thing that detracted from the experience was the lighting. It was actually too bright in there. Its a great place to unwind and even have a little date night dinner. So please dial the lights down a notch. Family friendly though with the bright lights 😁
Difficult little course. Fairways were nice and green, greens were soft and true. Tight water holes, and strategically placed bunkers made this one formidable! Par 72 + 14 handicap = 83 on the scorecard. 11over isnt great, but good for my first time there.
My father and I went to this course for a special occasion and it was very disappointing. Right off the bat, the pace of play was atrocious. My father and I usually play a round in just at 4 hours. We were creeping up on 5 hours leaving the 18th green. A ranger would have been nice to move people along. The putting surfaces were also very frustrating. I understand that the course is not to blame for spike marks and the prodigious amount of ball marks painted on the green. But there were many inconsistencies with the speed of the greens from one hole to the next. I had a 15 uphill putt that was faster than a completely level putt on the next hole. I would say 60%-70% of all greens had dead spots or patches of weeds on them. There were dead spots all throughout the course as well. Also, if anyone does decide to play this course, good luck finding level ground on the tee boxes. Youd have better luck finding it in a trench.I used to love playing this course, but after this experience, I doubt Ill be back. Save yourself the frustration, go to Royal St. Cloud
The greens were good but the hazard areas are over grown and the course is in rough shape. Course was demanding. I’m posting as my bf who is a +1 handicap and his expectations were considerably higher than what the course delivered. The staff and clubhouse facility was top notch however. Advice would be to put pictures on the scorecards or on the tee markers as most holes were total guesses off the tee. I’d play it again if it was free but I’m not sure I’d pay $50 again to play it.
My husband and I played this course twice while on vacation in Cocoa Beach. It is a gem with an interesting layout and very nice setting. The front nine is open while the back nine had some blind shots, mostly from the back tees. The greens run true and saved me some strokes. The fairways need weed control and the bunkers should be reworked with new sand. We could tell the management is working hard to improve the course and it will be a great once the improvements are made. We are looking forward to playing again next year.
I attended the course 2 weeks ago and what a treat it was for a revamping area. First the service and friendliness of the staff was awesome. I had questions about the facility and course to which I got all my information and then some from facility manager Ryan. The course was in great condition especially after the rain previously that week. After my round I had lunch at Andreis and the food and presentation was very good! The bar tender went out of his way to get a few things I was looking for and asked me about my round as well travels. Over all great experience and looking forward to returning labor day weekend!
I thoroughly enjoyed golfing on this course. The views, the wildlife, and the layout are simply beautiful. I would highly recommend playing here. The greens had recently been aerated (late July 2018), but they still rolled very true and at a good consistent speed. The course overall was in great shape. There are a couple of holes, when playing from the black tees, that are blind shots that make for a very interesting, nerve-racking, but fun experience.
We had our annual golf tournament here and were completely blown away by the customer service and the above and beyond commitment to make our experience and tournament a success. Very clean and professional. The staff was incredible and extremely helpful. The food is incredible as well.
This course has great potential, but it needs work. They have a great clubhouse and a fine restaurant, but the golf course needs work. It has a championship layout, but the course itself needs work, like grass in the fairways and on the tee boxes. I dont understand why the ownership has come so close to being a great place to play golf without going all the way. People wont come back because it doesnt measure up to other courses in the greater Orlando area.
We are Canadian and we come to golf at Indian River Reserve every year and we love it. The golf course is always in good shape and the staff are always very welcoming and friendly. We also love the food at the restaurant. Valentines dinner was spectacular! Highly recommend it all.
Played here years ago often when it was Walkabout. Hadnt been back for 5 yrs. Its an even better course now. Great clubhouse. Good food and drinks at a fair price. Course is in very good condition. Greens are fast and smooth. Green fees are very reasonable. Will continue to play on a regular basis.
