Privilege
Nice Indian Food with nice behavior. Just visit and have your food without any second thought. Yes carry your water as free water is not available. However onion and chutney is free which tastes awesome. A must visit place in Lucerne
MoreOne of the best place for Indian food. Authentic taste and great food. The owner Mr Singh is a such a gentleman and we had a good chat with him while having our food. We visited this place almost everyday during our visit to Lucerne.
MoreThe service here is unmatched, their hospitality warms my heart. Some people might feel other restraunts have better ambience but what actually matters is the food. Decent movie even better food. Highly recommended . Jai Hind 🇮🇳
MoreWonderful food and excellent hospitality. Being in Europe and having just like authentic indian food. Their aloo gobhi and dal makhani is absolutely fantastic. In our 2 day trip, we were there for all 2 days. Must visit place like mount titlis…
MoreThe food and service here are, bar none the best I have had.My wife is from India it is next to impossible to find an Indian style restaurant she, and her family, consider good. Having been on two continents and to seven different countries, this is our favorite. The service is friendly and the flavor of the food is excellent. Just walking in the aroma bodes well of what is to come.If you like in Luzern I envy your luck.If you are visiting, make a point of stopping in, you will not be disappointed.
MoreAwesome food and an extremely hospitable host who goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable. The Dal Tadka ranks amongst the best I have had amongst the many Indian Restaurants I have had.Pretty accessible also, with a bus stop right outside and great connectivity to Lucerne Train Station from where you can get a bus to anywhere in the city.
MoreGood quality Indian food at an affordable price. We tried their naan and chicken Tikka masala, both were very decent. They also serve onions, Desi mango pickle and chilli chutney as compliment. The owner himself attends all the customers and the restaurant is easy to reach also. Would recommend to anyone looking for Indian food in lucerne!
MoreThe food was so yummy - not spicy as we required , the boss dermerndra was so friendly and all the staff are very lovely, we enjoyed the food so much and you have to try the golab jamon was soooo yuuummmy
MoreAmazing Indian food with very warm hospitality by the owner. Its like a home away from home for all Indians. We ordered paneer Tikka masala with naan and gulab jamun in dessert, everything was very well prepared and was garnished with lots of love and warmth :The owner (Dharamendra jifelt like an elder brother to me . Loved the vibe of this place !
MoreBest Indian vegitarian and specifically Jain food.Tasty and fresh items.Serving all items in vegitarian and in Jain type.Enjoyed dinner .
MoreLoved the food ! Very authentic Indian taste with good quality and quantity ! Friendly service! Would definitely recommend this place
MoreI visited this place in August 2019. One fine afternoon.. The owner was a very good host. He welcomed us so nicely and genuinely happy to see Indian faces. The food was nice (could be better), he also gave us free Gulab Jamuns, n trust me guys its a very big deal and a great complimentary desert in Europe. I like the place and the owner. Would definitely visit again.
MoreAmazing restaurant above expectations! the best Indian food in luzern and I can say in best in Switzerland 100% highly recommended. We ordered prowns peryani, butter chicken, naan bread and sambosa all were delicious.
MoreTasty and delicious 😋 food. Highly recommended for Indian food lovers.Veg biryani with Raita was 👌 awesome.Panner Tikka masala was perfectly cooked with medium spicy(Indian style).Complimentary :Achhar( Mango Pickle), Green chilli chutney, Onion slices and Lemon made our day.
MoreGreat authentic Indian food and hospitality! The owner was very kind and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!
MoreGreat Indian food ! Hosts are also incredibly warm and welcoming! Lovely experience overall :)(Loved the homemade mango pickles especially)
MoreVery good and desi food. With lots of flavour. We enjoy our food and vere nice the owner help us. We love it. We had the chicken biryani and chicken madras with butter and garlic naan.
MoreFreshly-cooked delicious Indian food served by the friendly and hospitable owner Sh. Dharmender Singhji. There are plenty of options for vegetarians. It was also great to see people from different nationalities waiting to be served at the restaurant. Will definitely come back whenever I am in Luzern next.
MoreHands down, the best Indian restaurant in Lucerne. Everything from the taste to the spices was perfect. The owner is a really friendly guy and took extra care in terms of hospitality. You won’t miss Indian food if you decide to eat from this restaurant. Special mention to the mango pickle and chilli chutney. You won’t be charged extra for pickle, onions or chutney. Damn impressed by the food of this place.
MoreJust ate at this restaurant and by far the best Indian food in the whole of Europe! The owner was very hospitable and the personal service felt like we were eating at someone’s home! Overall a great experience!
MoreI went with my parents for lunch today - everything was simply delicious! Our favorites were the achar and chilly chutney. The owner was super sweet and helpful and kept our dietary preferences in mind. Highly recommend - would definitely visit again. And the restaurant had fans and AC - we didn’t feel any heat.
MoreFood was not so great. Honestly I did not like it at all. We visited in afternoon and it was too hot inside restaurant. Literally we were burning inside restaurant. 2 star for the staff who served us and he was very welcoming.
MoreVisited yesterday with my wife again after 2019. It amazed our experience yet again1. Top notch quality Indian North Indian food2. Excellent hospitality and personal service
MoreExcellent dinner, we were welcomed very nicely. Kids enjoyed it as well. I highly recommend this place for the whole family. Definitively a good address!
MoreIt’s a non-descript place, not fancy. But the owner is all smiles and extremely warm. The food took some time to come. It’s only when you start eating that you know why it took so long. The daals were excellent, the naans could be eaten without any accompaniments and the biryani was nice. The price is also reasonable (for Luzern). All in all, if you want straightforward good Indian food, you can’t go wrong here.
MoreI made an order on my eats, food came fast but the meal was really bad. 6 pieces of lamb for lamb curry and no potatoes or veggies. I think the kitchen could do better. It’s like I was sold prison food lamb floating on some plain curry with no veggies. I didn’t get serviettes or take out cutlery. Am disappointed as a culinary student for a year this is food they shouldn’t sell for 40 Swiss francs but eat as a staff. Restaurant food is well looked after and customers should be satisfied.
MoreThe food was amazing and affordable, and the location is a convenient, walkable distance from the Luzern train station. This was our go-to spot for our dinner in Luzern. But above all, the owner’s hospitality is what gives this rating 5 stars; he was very warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!
MoreExcellent authentic indian food! Some of the best food I’ve ever had and the service is wonderful. You can truly tell the staff care about giving you an amazing dining experience.
MoreThis restaurant was really a blessing for Indian food. It was super delicious and we really like the service. Mango pickle reminded me of home made pickle. Anyone craving for Indian food should definitely visit this restaurant. We would like to visit this restaurant whenever we go to Lucerne.
MoreWe were greeted by the owner Mr. Dharmendra Singh’s cheerful and warm personality. The food here is super authentic and super delicious. He gave us an amazing pickle made by his wife that alone is the reason to come to this restaurant. And we were given all the extras like onions, green chillis that are usually eaten as part of home cooked Indian meals. Traveling all the way from US we desperately needed a nice homecooked meal and this hit the spot! Highly recommend!!!
Moreit fed our taste buds well. Order palak paneer and daal makhani with garlic naan. Everything was delicious. They serve complementary onion salad and achaar as well. Worth going.
MoreMy wife and I visited this place around 27-28 June 2022 after seeing the reviews and we werent disappointed. The food tasted great. We ordered a paneer dish which had good potion size for 2-3 people, and Naan was equally good. The Mango Lassi was the best that I ever had. The homemade mango pickle and onions on the side reminded us of our home. We also spoke to Dharmendra ji, the owner, and he was very humble and gentle. Do visit if you are in Lucerne. It is right in front of the Paulusplatz bus stop.
MoreVery accommodating and kind to us as they were almost closed. We are very picky Pakistani when it comes desi food and we were delighted to eat here. Even our hard to please teenagers really enjoyed naan with butter chicken.A must go if you’re craving brown food on your travel or even if you’re local.👍🏼
MoreAwesome food, really good owner, warm hospitality. If you looking to eat good Indian food, blindly eat at this restaurant you will love it.
MoreVery nice food. Good Indian taste. The staff was very hospitable.
We were a bit skeptic after eating at a couple other India food places at Lucern. And this restaurant took us by surprise. Managed by an Indian Punjabi Mr. Dharmendar, the food was worth every penny. We ordered baigan bharta, paneer tikka masala along with butter naan and food was very tasty. The homemade mango pickle he serves is amazing too. Loved the hospitality and pleasant conversation as well. Great Indian food experience in Switzerland indeed!
MoreThis place will not disappoint. Its not fancy inside by any means, but the food is so fresh and delicious. Perfect flavour profile without the added oils and extra spices. It felt like a home cooked meal. Be sure to ask for the achaar (mango pickle), it will not disappoint. We also got the daal tadka, butter chicken and chicken korma. All equally delicious in their own ways. The staff was also welcoming and able to cater to the request for mild food for the kids. If we were spending more time on Lucerne, we would definitely come back.
MoreFull points for hospitality. This was our first meal in Lucerne and likely our only Indian one so not much context to compare it by. We had the butter chicken, daal makhani, chicken tikka and naans. Food was decent. Kinda like home cooked. Those 4 items plus 4 soft drinks cost 115CHF so not cheap. If it were anywhere else Id probably down rate on value money. But this is Switzerland so it costs what it costs. Bottom line. If youre really craving Indian food you can make a trip. But if youre looking for value for money then the isnt the place.
MoreA must visit to this hotel. The owner Mr. Dharma ji is a very nice and soft spoken person greets everyone with big smile. We had paneer tikka masala, garlic naan, butter roti and veg. Biriyani served with raita. Onion slices and pickles were served. Reasonably priced. Worth it.
MoreThe restaurant was perfect in awesome food and staff. We tried Panner tikka masala, tea, butter naan and jeera rice and food was hot, fresh and served with authentic Indian pickles and onions.Do suggest as a five star rating and happy to have this restaurant serving India food. Thanks sir for giving us Indian taste and we are the one who visited you two times and promised for the review. Thanks and see u soon
MoreOne of the best Restaurants for Indian in Lucern.Owner is very humble. Food is very good. Specially Mango Pickle. Its just reminded our mothers hand pickle.❤️
MoreFood is great here. Visited twice! Ordered and customized to our needs. Quantities were sufficient and two people can comfortably share the portions. Hospitality was good and Dharmendra ji used to follow up every now and then to ensure everything met to our expectations and are satisfied. Can visit to satiate Indian cuisine taste in Lucerne.
MoreLocation of restaurant is easy to find due to close proximity to Paulasplaz bus station. Food was exceptional. We could taste authentic Indian food. Very interactive and friendly staff.
MoreIt was a very wonderful experience. In Europe also we had same quality and taste of Indian food in the Restaurant. Service is also really good. Must try.
More!!! Home food away from Home !!!Hi Folks, please visit this place while you are in Lucerne. Food quality is really good and the taste is authentic. You can pretty much order the kind of flavor you would want to eat. Dharam Jis courtesy & hospitality is really a notch above other places and is a huge plus.Much Appreciated !!!
MoreReally amazing food !! One of the best indian food i have eaten in Switzerland. The owner is a Punjabi and a very humble, sweet and noble fellow. You should definitely visit this restaurant for indian. The paneer makhani, yellow dal and garlic naan are to die for. You will definitely visit again to relish the food.
MoreAmazing place and as a Pakistani I recognize authenticity and good flavors. Its not an upscale place but the food is delcious and the people are very kind and deliver great service.
MoreExtremely satisfied with the quality of Food. We get pure satvik/vegeterian food as per our requirement. Food was delicious and satisfied.I really love it. Whenever anyone visit Lukern, must try.The owner and staff is very friendly, lovely and hospitable. I Felt suberb and awesome and felt like at home! Gulab jamun and lassi was awesome and delicious.
MoreHad an awesome meal at the restaurant.. really great authentic Indian taste and the pickle will take you back to your grandma’s!! Touch pricy but it’s Switzerland 😊😊.. a definite place to go if u r longing for good Indian food!! And not to mention the awesome service which is indeed rare in this part of the world…
MoreWe recently went here. Decent Indian food. Kofta curry was fine, so were the naans. However the paneer tikka gravy was a disaster, have never seen an orange gravy before. The dal makhani didnt have cream/butter and tasted bland. They gave onions and pickle with the food which was great. The samosas tasted fine, but they are not really samosas. Overall okish to visit or can skip. Like in other places in Swiss, food was expensive.
