Very good food & nice staff that understood English

Full recomendation. Harder to find, restaurant is on the first floor.

Closed for the day but did not post it on facebook or website, ruined my lunch plans.

Not worth the price. The food was painfully mediocre with some rather unacceptable oversights. The onion baji was just onion rings with a bit of spices on them, served with a very bad mango chutney. Some rings had a burned taste while others were half cooked. Mango lassi was watery and tasteless, the main dish, chicken kadai didnt have any distinctive flavour, the chicken was hard and dry and again some pieces of onion were completely raw. Overall this restaurant has nothing to do with authentic Indian food, you can do much better.

Great food. Butter chicken was really spicy for me, but still delicious. Mango chicken was sweet. A lot of food for this price. I really recommend!

Amazing Indian! They messed our order, but taste was so great we didnt care. Lunch menu prices are super low for an Indian place. All in all I am coming back here when passing by next time.

Finally an Indian Restaurant in the Czech Republic not shy of adding chili. I had the vegetarian talir. Delicious, with the perfect amount of chili. It is a large, upstairs restaurant with nice decor and pleasant service. Best Indian in CZ I have tried so far.

I love Indian good, been eating Indian since many years everywhere incl in India...this is one of the best, sharing spot with one in mumbai (don’t remember the name).

I ordered food for takeout - Butter Chicken + Garlic Naan - and it was delicious indeed. Even a full hour after picking up it was still more than sufficiently warm and the naan was still quite tasty, not all soaked up in its own humidity, so thumbs up for the packaging.What I missed was labels. I ordered food for another person as well and when packing it out, we didnt know which dish was whose without unwrapping it all and taking a guess. That is not ideal when you dont know what your meal is supposed to look like, and/or one of the dishes is not to be eaten at the same time.In terms of pricing I find this restaurant cheaper than usual for the quality. I am more used to Prague prices, which tend to be higher when it comes to Indian food. In terms of food in general, its still above the average, especially given its a smaller city. Both meals together cost around 450 CZK, mine only around 200 CZK (the other meal had more items), so feel free to make your own assumptions.In any case, I definitely will be coming back once the restaurant fully opens again (Corona allows takeout only), to check the interior experience as well. Maybe Ill change my mind (read "update my review"and add the last star.

Worst experience. This is not at all Indian restaurant. Don’t get bluffed by name.Food is not good and especially staff attitude. If you are looking for an authentic Indian food, this is place is not at all right option.And don’t go there by reviews. Most of the positive reviews are managed ones.

DO NOT GO BY REVIEWS!!!! The worst Biryani and epitome of misbehavior from the service people (they lack basic etiquette of serving). I repent having dinner at this place and would strongly recommend especially Indians to not visit this place as they specifically don’t like us.

This place was really good for the little to nothing I knew about it. I was on Ceske Budejovice by chance and I picked the place without any previous knowledge of it.The service was fast and friendly, they serve my food pretty fast and the taste was just incredible. Highly recommended!

You can’t go wrong with this one. Food full of flavour, big portions, quick service, decent prices, usually packed over lunchtime.

Really delicious food! The only bad thing was that we had to wait for some time for our plates, otherwise the food and the place were really nice.

You want to eat here. The smell is gorgeous, staff is very nice and food is delicious. We chose paneer korma and chicken malai kabab and tandoori protha and nan bread from Czech, English and German menu and we loved it. And we had also mango lassi (also greatand surprisingly good white and rose glass wine.

Please go there! You will absolutely not regret even a moment. From the moment you walk in you are greeted warmly. The excellent wait staff seat you in one of the oh so comfy chairs in one of two opulent dining room.I have never had a more delicious meal served with care and consideration. Fellas its an excellent way to impress a date. Just remember to dress the part and make a reservation on the weekend or you might be waiting for a while.

I have been to many different Indian restaurants and this is by far my favorite of all of them. I absolutely love the chicken dal and the tikka masala. I would recommend this place to anybody passing through české Budějovice.
