Indian Papadum Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Portimao, Portugal
Superb food and extremely good value.. very enjoyable meal and helpful attentive staff.
Great food, professional Staff ...I enjoyed my Lunch there....
Very lovely place to eat food at, super tasty recommend to all kind people, I suggest you all to come here and try tasty food.
Biriyani was very bad test.. rice not boiling enough. Chicken legs didnt get enough salt. Overall its not good enough the quality is very bad .
Good tasty food. Plus marks for large starter portions size - be aware if you are a minimal muncher! Veg pakora was really good, but onion bhajis were too mushy inside - need to be crisper. Poppadums were tasty and not greasy. Need bigger portion accompaniments (chopped onions/tomatoes, and mango chutneywith poppadums. Veg biryani was good - excellent rice veg mix - though maybe would be better with a proper veg curry as oppose to the sauce provided. Service was excellent.
Perfekt flavors very rich and perfectly cooked food.
The food tastes so good and it’s very deliciousThe people are so kind and nice !!Definitely recommend this one !!
Best Indian restaurant in Portimao, no doubt.Food is fantastic, and the people are even better.Definitely recommended!
The food was nice, fresh and tasty . Service was so warming. Really really worth it. Strongly recommend.
Best Indian food.. good service and thefriendly staff
It was OK nothing more. Food tasted a bit bland and missed salt service was OK but the place could have been cleaner. For vegetarian options it was a bit thin and the vegetables we had in the end were overcooked
It took very long time to get my order and they didnt have much clients. The kebab was burned and very hard to eat.
We had dinner an hour and a half after sitting down at the table. They brought us the food from another order. summary of the experience was a disaster.
Often live music. Delicious food low price. Indian food. Suitable for vegans.
We were well greeted. Our table waiter was very attentive and helped us to choose good dishes. The food was generous snd very nice, and l had enough to take home. The process was very good.
Food was really good, and the service was excellent. The waiter was super nice and friendly, the food was presented really well, high quality and piping hot. A brilliant dining experience and would definitely go back!
Food was average , mango lassi taste like mango soda too strong , chicken biryani was not tasty.
I would highly advise against a visit to this place. Awful service, awful food. Coming from an Indian who has explored many restaurants in Portugal this is well below average - there was absolutely no taste in the food, everything was too sweet with no spice at all. Once the waiters came to ask us how everything was we explained politely- but instead of taking it as constructive criticism, they were arrogant and rude. The table next to us had a similar experience.
Very good dinner and very good service by waiter!! Recommendable

Great food and very friendly staff. Have visited twice on my holiday. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely. We were a bit dubious eating Indian abroad but we love Indian food and one night decided wed go there. All lovely, clean and nice staff. Food was lovely too.
Food was fine (not so spicy as we wish, service was ok
A truly fabulous indian restaurant. Not only is the food delicious (and it truly is), the staff are wonderful. We had a very sad 5yr old who did not like her holiday as she would not eat anything. We took her here as a last resort, as she loves korma back home, and the staff made her feel so special. Totally turned our holiday around. Thank you so much to all at Papadum. We ate there twice, Goan fish curry amazing!
Fantastic Indian food and everything I have eaten has been very good and delicious. All the price is very reasonable.me and whole family we enjoy the food Staff are very helpful and service is great. See you soon

It was delicious. The chicken Massala was amazing. The best Indian restaurant in town.
Very good food! Good amount for the price, great service.
The food is fantastic and everything I have eaten has been very good and reasonably priced. Very good service where the staff always makes you feel very comfortable through a nice and friendly welcome. I can really recommend this restaurant.
Really nice food and pleasant service. You cant go wrong with the Pratos do Dia: poppadom, curry of your choice, rice, nan and a drink. 👍
The food is fantastic and everything I have eaten has been very good and reasonably priced. Very good service where the staff always makes you feel very comfortable through a nice and friendly welcome. I can really recommend this restaurant.
Fantastic Indian food, I came from lisbon to portimao for my personal work, I was looking for a Indian restaurant, luckily I got the best restaurant in the town, I have eaten samusa, tikka, madras, naan bread, all foods was so delicious and amazing authentic taste, I highly recommend this restaurant…***************
From the beginning to the end, service was amazing! “Mahbub” was very courteous and attentive. The food was amazing, and this is coming from Indian ethnic background. Definitely felt homely vibes - 5 stars!
Bad service. and food is not good, not good taste. table was not clean. i don’t want to go there never again in my life. please don’t waste your money there. 🤮😡
Very pleasant surroundings with friendly staff and great beer. The Currys we tried where beautifully made and the breads where too. My only gripe would be the level of spice although full of flavour not enough spice in the Madras.
The food is delicious, balanced flavours, great presentation. Especially the mango lassi was 5/5 :)I simply didnt gave 5 stars because the waitress didnt seem friendly and the restaurant wasnt super pretty.
Amazing food, great service!
The food was amazing. It was so tasty. The service was Fantastic and they were so kind. You could really feel they wanted you to have the best experience. Butter chicken has become my favorite dish. My whole family enjoyed it.
Fantastic service. Super nice. Great dinner.
We were served by Sala who expertly advised us on what curries we would enjoy and he got it spot on. We could not believe how fabulous the food was, even the Popadums tasted extra nice! I had a fish bhuna which had a slight smoky taste but not too spicy. It was my fathers birthday on the second time we went and they had organised a cake for him, really gone the extra mile. It was a great experience.
Surprisingly good, tasty food! The Staff is very attentive. I had saag paneer and loved it! Not very hot but super tasty. I also had the opportunity to taste chicken with spinach curry and lamb tikka and both dishes were very good.
Very friendly waitstaff, gave some good recommendations. We had the mixed starter which was tasty. For main, we chose butter chicken, aloo gobi and lamb balti, all were really good and chockful of flavour. The pilau rice was okay. Garlic naan was a total disappointment, very doughy and the center felt like it was not cooked at all, did not taste as naan at all. We asked if they use a tandoori oven, they confirmed they did, but it made us wonder if the oven was fully on.All in all, good value for money and tasty food. Just stay away from the naan bread.
Excellent food, we live in Praia da Luz and came on invitation.. Worth the trip, excellent service, nice people.. 😊 They just opened, so not busy yet, they deserve to get a full house.. Keep on going monir and staff..
