Wonderful kind, customer service. Exciting flavours. Best!
This guy is a joke, running around for no reasonRude, arrogant, self absorbed with food that reflects his personality.Such a shame giving indian food a bad name and reputation! Not coming back!!!Re-post: Just found out the owner and his family post fake reviews for other Indian restaurants to give them bad reputation...Im shocked 😲
Best Indian food since my trip to India six years ago. If you enjoy fresh, authentic Indian food this is the real deal! Peter was great and encouraged us to try new things so now we have some new favorites!
This place is an eye sore and smells extremely unsavory even from outside. I actually can’t believe it passed any kind of inspection or people took their chances with it. Reviews only confirmed what seems obvious to me, that this place is indeed disgusting. Shame on this business for defaming such a lavish cuisine, robbing unsuspecting, naive customers and putting their health at risk with unhygienic, filthy food. Appalling.
Disgusting food, Uncooked, watery rice, unprofessional, owner assaulted me when I was not happy with food, return the food, he threatens to call health department on me and 911 because of a return food which I tasted, restaurant did not follow 6 feet distance, was very closed to me, Will quarantine and get tested. will file lawsuit against them. Please do not buy from this restaurant. Avoid at all cost!
Food safety. Multiple items rotten, spoiled & improperly handled. Papadum tasted of dirty kitchen rags. Samosa insides were sickly grey and tasted rotten. Rotten taste lingered in mouth. Threw it away. Ordered from somewhere else.
Really good food. Been going there for years. Highly recommend!!
Tried mutton (goat meatbiryani there. It was quite delicious. The staff are friendly. It wasnt crowded at all. So didnt have to wait to get a table.
Hands down the worst Indian food I’ve ever had.
Its okay...Food was...not the bestStaff was...sort of helpful..Id recommend other Indian restaurants first but if you have the money (its priceygo for it.Unfortunately I do have to note my friend got sick after eating, but maybe his stomach wasnt used to the heat!?
Ive had a good amount of curries from various indian restaurants, and I feel like this place is pretty standard. The food itself is pretty good. I would order carry-out, as the inside is pretty un-welcoming (old, quiet, dusty). The spices are there and seasoning is pretty on point, the naan is delicious. Its at least a whole lot better than new taj mahal, if youre trying to decide between the two in the same area.
Soooooo goood. Best Indian food over ever had. A little pricey but toally worth it.
Great food and lovely people that run it!
Food is good, feels like spring at someone elses house.
Horrible food. Horrible quality and quantity. Horrible price. Just avoid it at all cost.
horrible
Food is priced too high considering the quality. I barely had any chicken breast in my meal but instead had mostly weird chicken fat and cartilage.
Go somewhere else. There are many great Indian restaurants in Columbus; this is mushy, nontraditional, and low on flavor and spice. Not impressed. Probably the worst Indian food Ive had in the city.
Authentic, good Indian food for a good price.
I asked for Naan and received Roti. Knowing the difference, I politely asked the Indian waiter to confirm if it was Naan or Roti. He said he needed to check with the Chef. Upon his return, he confirmed it was Naan. He was obviously lying to me. Also, the curry was served over a bed of rice, which is not traditional. There are plenty of great Indian restaurants in Columbus to justify not wasting your time here.
Hole in the wall. Authentic music, mom and pop feel. Small and comfortable. Food was pretty good, but not the best indian food Ive had to be honest. We also didnt get our tea, but who cares, they were nice people.
Im writing this while Im sitting in the restaurant. My husband and I went here as a small anniversary treat. We are not impressed AT ALL!! I cut myself on a tiny bone that was in the bone-riddled goat biriyani, told the owner, and he gave excuses as to why the biriyani had bones in it. The food was bland. We had to add a ton of salt to give it flavor. The restaurant smells and has cob webs everywhere. Disgusting! The picture I posted was directly beside where we were sitting. For a restaurant which such high prices, you think they would use some of that money to clean the place. Were never coming back!
Place was empty and a little pricey, but overall a good experience. Food was delicious, and the owners repeatedly checked to make sure I had plenty of water and was doing ok.
This place is awful. I had Cafe Courier deliver me their coconut soup and shrimp jalfrazie. All of it was terribly bland. I tossed the soup in the trash after two sips. The last time I checked jalfrazie has bell peppers in it. There were two small slices in my entire dish. And for the heat I chose medium but got mild. Go to Aab if you want the best Indian in this town. Too bad it isnt serviced by Cafe Courier. Ill never choose this place again.
Just got delivery from here for the first (and now onlytime. It was terrible. Ordered the chicken mikhani, which was essentially just a plastic container filled with flavored water and a few miscellaneous chicken cubes. I also got the chicken soup, which was clearly just lipton or some other type of microwaveable broth. The naan was raw. The can of pop I paid for expired in August of last year. Food quality was poor, and food was definitely overpriced. Would not recommend.
Most authentic indian food. delicious!
The naan was raw and they forgot a huge portion of my meal when delivering.
indian kitchen is the best Indian food in Columbus . Ive eaten at the others. Indian kitchen is where its at! the price is cheaper & the food is better than the competitors. Ive been eating indian food, in Columbus for 20 years. "thank you" Indian Kitchen, fantastic as always.
This place is the worst indian food ever! We just picked some up for take out and I kid you not it is inedible. We are not even going to eat it! It not only smells horrible but the taste is appalling. I have experienced a ton of indian places and this one is hands down the worst. I am not one to complain but this place is horrible! We dropped over $50 dollars because it was our treat on a Friday night to try a new indian place. I feel like we got scammed and I hope this review helps you to steer clear of this feeling.
I love this place, their lamb jalfrezi is fantastic. Quality food at a reasonable price.
Ordered take out, arrived almost 2 hours later. I wasnt very impressed with the quality of the food or quantity based on the price. I wouldnt say it was horrible food but all things considered, I think Ill just stick with Aab.
One of the worst food i ever had ....food is full of oil ....doesnt tast like indian food .....no clean environment..quality is not upto the level what they are charging.
