Indian Castle Restaurant in Tra Li

Ordered via just eat with pay in cash option. Order came to 25.40 but when collecting this man charged me 28. When questioning he said saag panner does not come with pilau rice despite website saying mains come with either boiler rice, pilau rice, naan or chips. He than said its not a main course.Was going to show him the just eat site but he wasnt going to look at it nor listen too me. He was very rude. Not the way you treat customer. He wont see me again and if you dont want to get fooled you better stay away from him.Should have left his premises without the food and without paying.I know he doesnt care about this or any other negative feedback but thought I have to warn people.

We ordered again tonight after having a bad experience a few months ago and what we going tonight was another long wait for food that wad cold and bland..... wont be getting food from here again.

This restaurant has seriously deteriorated in the past 6 months - food is cold in the middle and lettuce garnish is wilted and well past its sell by date - no joy in communicating same as rude "lady" clearly hasnt completed or possibly begun her customer care training - avoid at all costs

The food was awful, they should improve their food quality. Not even close to the taste of real Indian cuisine. Terribly disappointed!!!

Im a usual customer of this restaurant i ordered at least once a week but i will not order ever again from them every time i order in the actual place in person the have problem in counting always giving back the wrong change so i started paying by card and ordered online last Thursday pre ordered food so it would come early but it was an hour late so i called them were is the order the guy said next five minutes i said ok and hanged up but i just realised today from my credit card that the guy just made a new order trough the phone without telling me so i payed nearly 100 euro for 4 dishes as the new order got delivered but the old one didnt I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND THE FOOD WAS DELIVERED ALL BURNED

Got the butter chicken and both times it was perfect couldnt ask for more. The peshwari naan is amazing too. Will be a regular from now on.

Horrible experience seriously, unfortunately tried some food from there felt sick after eating wouldn’t recommend even my worst enemy very very poor customer services. Just heads up lads.

Biryani was delicious, but why do you guys give yogurt sauce/vegetable sauce? You should give raita/Mirchi ka saalan. That would complete the package and seal the deal

Tasty food, had biryani and bhuna with cheese naans. I have barely eaten my portion as it was so big. Definitely will order again and recommend to anyone.

Amazing food 😻 In May of 2021 I visited Indian Castle and I’m delighted I did 😄 We had prefer through Just Eat and we were notified through every stage from it being confirmed to being told it’s on the way 💖 For starter I had Chicken Chaad and it was so delicious 😋 My mom got Garlic Mushrooms and they were gorgeous 😌 For my Main Course I got Pasanda ( chicken with Boiled Rice and Peshwari Naan Bread, it was out of this world ! First time trying it and I thought it was so tasty 😋 My mom got the Chilli Masala ( Chicken and it was way too spicy for my liking but she loved it 🤩 We also got a portion of popadoms and they were really tasty 😋 Highly recommend everyone visit ‼️

Wonderful food. I ordered a Korma recently to start trying Indian food and it is the best in Tralee. There is a lovely and welcoming young staff. As well a COVID 19 friendly environment, there was hand sanitizers and social distance measures. Definitely will come back when visiting Kerry

I went to the restaurant with friends. We ordered chicken makhani, dal tadka, chicken balti, chicken madras for mains. Chicken balti, makhani and dal tadaka was fine. Chicken madras was not good at all. It was very bitter.Kheema Naan was also not good.But overall food was ok.Ambience was not that fancy but ok.Main disappointment was service. The lady service was not at all professional. No manners about how to talk to customer. She was always complaining about other customers. When we asked her desserts she asked us to take it from tesco. Really?And most important thing, in this world of Covid 19 pandemic, no member of staff was wearing any mask, face shield.

Absolutely terrible service. Rude staff who didn’t cater to allergy needs and made our party of 10+ feel like a burden (yet treated other diners kindly), even though we booked the table in advance. One waiter actually told us there was too many of us to cater to, l (yet was happy to take our paymentFood was below average. Completely overpriced. Have never received such terrible customer service. Was so disappointed as heard good things about the place. Will never visit again.

Went with a group of 3.. Food was good except for my mains.. I ordered a vindaloo and its was simply way too hot.. Its tasted of a serious amount of chilli power.. It should be spicy but spiced hot so you can taste all the flavors.. Overall we were happy.

Indian CatastropheThe worst Indian restaurant I have ever had the misfortune of visiting.Despite several days prior notice of a large booking, the staff were unwilling to serve us, preferring to concentrate on their takeaway orders. The waiters seemed unable to give starters, clean cutlery or even glasses. The meat dishes had hardly any pieces in them.When advised as to his lack of service and paltry portions, the manager aggressively asserted that he [a Bengali] didnt want to serve us [Asians] but prefers to deal with his Irish customers takeaway orders. Given that we were the only customers on a Saturday night, one wonders why he doesnt shut the restaurant and re-open as a takeaway joint instead.Paying 300 euros for a stomach ache was daylight robbery.

Very poor service and extremely rude staff. Portions were mostly sauce and no meat. Better in choices in Tralee. AVOID!!

Food quality was average at best (it gave me a stomach ache), but the service was really, really terrible.They are clearly geared towards takeaways only, with the restaurant a distant afterthought.Our bill came to 296 euros, yet the manager argued that we had impeded his takeaway routine, without even bothering to apologise.

Its not a proper Indian Restaurant, probably different countries peoples are running this restaurant by using INDIAN Cultural name!I have experiences a lot about Indian foods in different places so I know proper Indian Cuisines and its taste.This type non Indian peoples by Using Indian name actually Making peoples fools !

Very much low quality services 😐Its an Indian Restaurant they sale "Beef" but they dont sale Pork !? Weird !!Even they are selling Beers and other alcohols !!I have been good few quality Indian Restaurants before, they dont sale beef and pork either.Basically, If any Indian Restaurant sales Beef items they must need to sale Pork items as well.. Business means Business if they think !

Indian food is a little pricey in Ireland, but I normally do take-away here and they are ok. Food is good, sometimes meat is a little less than hoped.

Just came here by chance and very happy we did. Seriously tasty food and lovely friendly staff. Definitely will be back!

Went here for a meal tonight ( Friday nightJust sat down looking at menu door opens and In walk 6 females in pyjamas dressing gowns and slippers. Verbally abused us . We decided to leave , sorry but these type of people should not be left in . Not restaurufault but disappointed
