Inamo Covent Garden in Mikuni

The food we got was delicious, but not exactly what we ordered. We had afternoon tea, and the menu on the website wasnt what we were served. The service was super slow but not only that, we were asked to leave before we could finish even though it was them getting our food super slow.

I don’t know why the reviews for this place are so good. We waited an hour for our food and the last dishes didn’t even make it out until an hour and a half after we’d got there. The pricing is absolutely ridiculous, even for London (£12 for a glass of wine?!and the novelty of the interactive tables wears off after two minutes (I suppose if you’re there with young children they might be more useful).For the same price you can go to a really premium London restaurant for a much better quality of service and a nicer atmosphere.

The sushi was amazing! Best I’ve had in a while. The service however it was good, it would be best if it was a little faster. Jazz Raju Samiha

Great experience! The waiter “Sonu” and “Robins” were very at tentative and “Sunera” very very helpful. Food was good but the main thing about this place is the way it’s run; order through the table and receive your order quickly! No more waiting to make eye contact with waiters! Great idea! Plus the tables have games to play while you wait for the food which added fun to the experience.

Only good if you want to experience the interactive table otherwise the sushi itself wasnt great. The fish was cut so thin you cant even taste it, only rice. The bottomless options dont offer a lot of variety. We ordered the dragon roll thinking that we will get something which looks like a dragon as advertised on the menu, but it was just sushi on a plate. (Had to order twice when we realised they dont actually decorate it). Too expensive and the food also didnt satisfy us. I would rather go to sushimania for the sushi

I had the most amazing dining experience yesterday evening. Delicious food and a really fun concept.. I would like to also mention that my waiter Rim made the experience exceptional, he was full of energy and really added to the experience! I look forward to coming back soon.

When I first walked In, we did not have a reservation but the happily took us without any problem. The food was expensive, £9 for a bottled ale which in its self is crazy. But towards the end, the waitress hands out our bill. WHICH we did not ask for as we were still eating our food. Then they come with the card reader which again WAS NOT asked for, when I had just asked for a another drink. To find out they had accepted a large group and were trying to rush us out. THE lady at reception came and said for us to move which was disrespectful and appalling. They mentioned nothing before seating us about a time limit and where very rude and ill mannered. And she had the guts to ask for feedback.. the service and food just are not worth the amount we paid.

Great place to go with a group of friends. Food tasted top and portion sizes in the tapas were good too. Unlimited food and drink is a good option for people with a good appetite. Its a waste for others. Music and vibes are good. Staff are efficient and very friendly. Tables are well kept and the ordering system is fairly unique with a screen integrated within the table

I had the best experience at Inamo,I went for the bottomless drinks and Asian Tapas and the food was lovely! The staff continued to top up our glasses. My two waiters were Emir and Jazz and they were fantastic, so friendly and great customer service! Definitely made the experience good. So positive!

We visited Inamo as part of a gifted Meal + Comedy night. Unfortunately if we could’ve reviewed 0 stars we would’ve done. We arrived at the recommended time of 4:30pm, with the comedy due to start at 6pm. We placed our order almost immediately, but as you can see from this photo we waited over an hour, and the food did not turn up. Eventually, with 15 mins to go before the comedy night, half of the order turned up (all meat options which my vegetarian partner could not eat), and none of the vegetarian meals turned up. We had to leave at 6pm for the comedy night (within in the same venue), and refused to pay the bill. Shocking service, the staff didn’t seem to care. Absolutely would NOT recommend to anyone. To be fair, the comedy itself was good with some great acts, but unfortunately we had not eaten anything by this point so the evening was ruined already.

Fancy place where we had delicious vegan sushi. The only concern is that it was extremely jam-packed and tables were too close, the other customers and us were knocking elbows (they were rude, not the restaurants fault). The food was good though, even though it was pricey. Good experience.

Rim showed excellent service for the whole meal. Great attitude and great sense of humour. Very friendly and packed our food up in a very creative, funny way.The food was amazing with a brilliant new menu. Will definitely be coming again!!

I was really looking forward to inamo - I love a bit of tech so the idea of a digital table menu was right up my street. Sadly it was all a bit chaotic.We waited about 15 minutes in a queue before anyone came to take us to our table. While waiting we watched a barman over-pour a glass of wine and then pour it back into the bottle.The tech was fun. Easy to use menu and order and the food was reasonably good. It was decent take-away standard rather than a fine dining experience, which isnt trying to say it was bad.Its a tapas style menu and they bring you the food when its ready (or when they remember). Our rice didnt come until after wed finished the hot food, despite asking 4 times for it and pressing the " call waiter" button 3 times - which was never responded to.I also managed to order a bottle of cider with my elbow somehow, so make sure youve left the table screen on the games section...Overall it was OK. I recommend a visit since the food is pretty decent and its a novel tech experience, but I probably wont go back in a hurry

Extremely poor service, allergens not respected so avoid at all costs.I have been told whatever is in the menu without the mention to gluten, it means is suitable for gluten free person.As you can see from the screen no mention of gluten, but the waiter stopped me halfway saying that gluten was inside.When I explain to him that I will feel bad all night, he told me that they use gluten free soy sauce. Not trusty at all!!

Food is alright and the table is entertaining.However, the service was beyond chaotic.Firstly, we got seated basically next to another couple. Literally a table for 4 divided for 2 people. Doesnt allow for much privacy. (Photo as an example)The service started quickly. You ordered and the food was with you within 5min.However, towards the end, we ordered a relatively simple plate and it took half an hour to get to us. We then proceeded to ask for the waiter to understand where it was or if we pressed anything wrong and we were simply presented with the bill (wrong bill that had even more items we didnt order). We explained we were waiting for a plate and not ready to pay as we were still waiting for dessert.We finally got the dish but were now unable to order dessert as the tablet wouldnt allow us.We had good expectations and loved the food, it was just unfortunate the incident in the end and the table placement.

Amazing dinnerThe food was delicious and came very quickly—a variety of sushi and Japanese dishes. The service was excellent thanks to Emir, who took care of our table attentively and kindly. My friends and I will definitely repeat this experience!

Rim and Jazz were amazing! Loved it, we had an amazing time - had cocktail making (which were all amazingand then a lovely meal with great service! The cauliflower dish was delicious - a must have! Definitely go again xx

I had a great experience at Inamo. Food was lovely and the ambiance was everything. I especially want to give thanks to one of the waitresses named Dammy, she was so helpful and attentive with everything. Really seems like she loves her job. My cousin was asking for recommendations of what to eat and she helped him with no hesitation. Brilliant customer service ! Will be back again x

My partner and I both had the unlimited Asian tapas and sushi for £32 each. Very impressed with the food, it came very quickly and everything was delicious! We got through a combined 17 dishes so proved excellent value for money. Only slight disappointment was a handful of items on the menu werent available that we wouldve liked to try but otherwise no complaints!

Enjoyed a very nice time at Inamo. We were in a group and the interactive tables were very fun and kept us entertained.The variation on the menu was great. Something for everyone. We got a loads of different dishes and just shared them amongst everyone.They did however forget to bring a couple of dishes out and they were finally brought out after wed finished everything else.Will certainly go back

Great restaurant, we got unlimited food and drinks and it was amazing the beers came so fast! Service was so attentive without being over the top, our waiter Kenish was perfect! The manager (Im sorry I didnt get his namewas great too. Also they have interactive tables with games, you also order the food from there and its so good!

I would say avoid this place. We have visited this restaurant with so much hope for a unique experience. The concept is very promising however the service is honestly not good. Although we had a table reserved we had to wait long to be seated which I wouldn’t mind if we didn’t end up waiting all night for everything else. They say eat all you can but more than half your 90 minutes in there is spent waiting for the food to come and the other half, we probably spent trying to get a waiter’s attention to ask where our food is. I have to say they were quick to top up our drinks which was great but the food service was very poor.The food was also not tasty. There were couple tapa’s which we really enjoyed but the majority of dishes were loaded with so much garlic that it was not possible to eat.From the moment we stepped in, i noticed the low hygiene levels as the floors weren’t clean and there were many flies while we were trying to eat.I really wanted this to be a good experience as I was getting treated for my birthday however I left the place disappointed. I think there are some improvements to be made then it can be a fun and unique place.

The concept of this restaurant has attracted us to visit and we have picked the unlimited tapas & sushi and wine option on fixed price. First of all, the waiting time at the door was very long and unorganised. The person at the front desk would walk the customers to their table and give introduction on how to use the interactive table and how to place orders, then return back to the main desk to serve the next customer waiting in the queue. This has created a massive queue and long waiting time at the door, getting customers worried about losing their 90 minute slot for their table. We have arrived 20 minutes early and luckily only had 2 people in front of us yet we were told to come back in 5 minutes for our table which meant we had to queue again! When we needed to be taken to our table, wewere told to "make our own way to our table number and ask one of the waiters to give us introduction" after waiting in the queue for all the other customers in-front of us to be provided introduction about the interactive table. During our introduction at our table, we were told by the waitress that we could order 3 dishes per person in one order andwe must have eaten minimum 60% of our food to place our next order.. the quality of the food was so poor that we couldnt even eat the 60% of the food on our table because all you could taste was garlic in all dishes! In total we have placed 3 orders and we were missing minimum 2 dishes on each order that we constantly had to ask the waiter and remind them about our order. When we placedour third order, we were still waiting to receive one dish from our first order!! The concept of this restaurant (the interactive tableis a good idea however they have a lot to improve on and long way to go if they would like to provide good and unforgettable service. The hygiene of the restaurant was also poor as we had so many little flies around our table and getting close to our food which didnt make our experience any better.

We tried the bottomless brunch and drinks. The drinks were okay, given they let you have different juices/ soft drinks. However the food was really just passable. We had the tuna sashimi, had to send it back because the fish was mushy and off. I had to send it back, very disappointing.The bang bang cauliflower and sweet sour chicken were okay, but the sauce was so salty and overpowering. The edamame was just too oily, I don’t even understand why they would add oil to edamame. The pork belly was okay but very dry.It wasn’t the best lunch we’ve had and for the price we made, despite being bottomless, I will not come back again. Very unfortunate.The table was cool there was a few games to play while waiting for the food, but very sensitive to liquid, so if you spill a bit of sauce or drink, the screen will stop working.

I came for afternoon tea set and on the menu they said there is salty dishes and sweet dishes. After finishing my salty dish, we waited a long time for the sweet side, then we asked the waitress and she said there is no dessert for today. They didn’t even tell us before we order the afternoon tea set! If I have known this, I would have chosen the normal menu! At first they wanted us to pay full price for the tea set then I complained about it since we didn’t even have the full set provided! After complaining, The manger gave us 15% off the bill at the end but I am still very upset about it.

Came here with some friends for a lunch as an unlimited sushi option.The interactive table was fun but very much a novelty. It broke for us after our first order and wasn’t fixed for at least 10 minutes.The food was delicious and can’t be faulted but the menu (which was limited for the unlimited sushi optiondidn’t have a lot of variety. Oddly enough still, some of the options on the menu were made unavailable but were available to order on the other menus…Although enjoyable I don’t think I’ll return.

A new way of enjoying food. For people that love modern ways of living as you eat on a tablet:The table is your menu, your order machine and your entertainment- we played Pool, Sudoku, Air Hockey - alone and by 2 and 4. The asian food was also good:)

Cool place, you can play games on the table which is fun! Great veggie options, very tasty food. Slightly on the expensive side, not too bad though, standard for central London. Would go back and check out their private rooms and bar if I get the chance for a group event or something.

Did not expect that this gem will be hidden in an alley way in Covent Garden. Food was really good given that it is a fusion. Also allows us to play some mini games whilst waiting for our food. Even we did not have a reservation, they still welcomed us. Ordering is also easier as you can order through their tablet which is available per table. Customer service is also really 👍🏻. All I can say is the food is delicious, loads of varieties specifically for me that is going for a specific diet. It’s a 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Highly recommended for families and friends. I will be definitely coming back.

RimHi Rim was amazing. He was very attentive, and provided excellent customer service to all of us. He made us all feel very welcome, he helped me understand the ordering system on the ipad, he explained the what the cocktails consisted of, he made us feel very comfortable as this was our first time here. He made our experience excellent and because of him we will definitely come back here. The food was excellent and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. Thank you Rim very much, you have made this a very memorable experience that we will never forget. 😀

Its an ok place with easy to select and be served food before a theatre show. However, it is quite pricey for the quality of the food. At the prices they charge I would expect a better taste experience. I paid just under £40 per head and this did not even include any alcohol. Felt like £20 per head would be more reasonable.

Inamo I had heard great things but cant say I was super impressed. The food was mediocre and the prices are pretty inflated for mediocre sushi, in terms of drinks they have a great collection of cocktails to offer and they all come looking very fancyThe total bill was around £150 for two peopleThat was made up of a few drinks, a bottle of wine(£32and several dishes of food!The food is realtively pricey and the portions are a little light so not great. I would say that I have had sushi from less well known places where the food was alot betterThey have projectors above every table where you can play games while you wait for you food to come, its actually pretty fun and can get competitive. They do give you a time limit of around 2 hours depending on the number of people but for two people 2 hours is ample timeI would visit again but I would look at for the all you can eat vouchers that they do it works out alot better then buying individual dishes.

Most amazing place in Covent Garden. Being a huge sushi fan I didn’t think there was such a fabulous venue for sushi in this area. The fun tables (virtual gamesand great food was such a delight for this spontaneous visit! However, must say the service and attentiveness from Rim was the best!!! Can’t wait to revisit with friends as this is such a fun place ;)

We had a lovely experience with Rim! He was really warm and passionated. Definitely recommend to take a visit when you around the area. The interactive tabes are a nice extra for the creative and gamer types!

Portion sizes are good but theyve all but given up on the tech and its expensive to eat there. Several of the tables had projectors only projecting red - so the bulbs need changing. They also now just give you an iPad to order food (No more impressive than using an app on your phoneand trying to use the table tech just showed error messages (See image). I took a relative after saying how good it was a few years ago, I was embarrassed.

Had a really lovely evening with my girlfriend, as soon as we got to the restaurant the waiter was polite on the door, he showed us to our seats and he gave an introduction of the menu and entertainment on offer.The music inside the restaurant is really soft and nice.Jordan our waiter was really helpful, prompt with the sushi re ups and gave us a fantastic experience. I will definitely visit again.

Afternoon tea was great, dragon sushi with a mix plate with bang band cauliflower which was the best Ive had and a glass of fizz.Options to add anything on the table and interactive table was fun, whole waiting for dishes. Was full at 4:30 busy and fun with good food.

We were allowed to choose 6 plates which I thought wouldnt be enough but it actually was. The food was hot and everything tasted amazing.The cocktail making class was very different to any we have done before. but I its the best Ive been to. We made 3 cocktails, taking shots and generally having a good time.The karaoke honestly had to be my favourite part at this point everyone was drunk and merry and we were singing our hearts out.The bad:Theres only 1 negative and that is the interactive tables. I was a bit disappointed as the projections arent that clear, we also had 1 clicker that wasnt really working.

Came here for afternoon tea as birthday gift to my sister in law. Really enjoyed the food but the staff was really rude and the staff took ages to bring our food and our prosecco. They even made us leave the table once our food was finished even though our slot was not done. I asked the waitress her name and she did tell me and even said she would write it down. I dont remember it now as Im writing this a month later, I visited 12th February. She was very rude in her tone. They did the same to the table next to us and the manager gave them a free bottle of prosecco. We received nothing.

Stopped here first right after landing in London for the first time. The atmosphere, food, and service was 5/5! Our waiter (Jordan!!was super friendly, gave us some amazing recommendations (which we orderedand also gave us some local touring advice! I am a vegetarian and I have to say, the Bang Bang Cauliflower is the best Asian dish I’ve ever had (Jordan’s recommendation- apparently a fan favorite of vegetarians and non-vegetarians all around)! The red dragon roll is also a 100! Love this place- will be back next time I’m in town!

Great location for a fun casual date or family meal. Had bottomless afternoon tea, which included a delicious variety of sushi and other dishes. Vegetarians wont be disappointed, as theres lots of variety. The interactive tables are a fun ice breaker that kids will love. But the software could do with being updated.

We went to Inamo for valentines and it was our first time there. It’s a casual restaurant but the service is nothing short of too notch! We were served by Jordan , He was so attentive and made the night a seamless and enjoyable experience! The food was amazing, every dish was delicious and Jordan made sure we had a great evening to celebrate valentines!

Jordan and his colleagues really took care of us with friendly service and smiles all the way. Makes the food taste even better. The tapas and sushi experience with bottomless Prosecco is the way to go. There sushi is my favourite. Not the mention the entertainment with their digital interactive art and games on the table. Chill environment, good for a date day or night.

Inamo is a one of a kind unique Asian restaurant. The ambience was really good. All tables had a little clicker thing which can be used to play games or draw or sketch on the table which definitely kept the kids extremely entertained. Ordering food was from tables using tablets which was super easy and food was delivered to table extremely quick. We went in for unlimited tapas using a virgin experience voucher that we received. All the dishes we tried were absolutely delicious and had authentic taste. Even for the price set of £30 pp for unlimited tapas, this was definitely worth it.

Inamo is a not just delicious but it is also super fun. The tables with game are entertaining and the food is super tasty and fresh! Highlight for me was the new cucumber sushi and the steak was prepared with perfection! Service was lovely and very efficient!The wine list is very good too!!!

Absolutely awful, not even going to bother listing what I ate because as a foodie this was one of the worst places ive dined at this year. The staff here appeared to be inexperienced with no idea what customer service is, from nonchalant attitude to plonking random food in front of people amd walking away without checking if it was correct. No condiments, soy sauce was given for which we had to ask for several times. Only saving grace was the one lovely black waitress (didnt get her name). The food came out very quickly, almost a little too quick and it was nasty. Looked lovely tasted ghastly especially for the prices you are paying, along with their watery £14.95 cocktails. My 5-spiced chips £6.95 tasted like oven chips dumped with cinnamon. The sushi was mediocre, didnt taste fresh priced at £17.95 which doesnt compare to other sushi restaurants. The prawns....🤕The interactive tables they boast about dont get me started, were tragic, no staff could be  bothered to show us how to use it. The ordering system using a tablet was terrible. Overall waste of time, not a place authentic good tasting high quality Japanese food 😭 The manager was unsympathetic when we challenged the service charge.
