In the yard - Cafe in Zagreb, Croatia
In the yard in Zagreb
Description
Nice and cozy location, works on Sundays, only disadvantage was they had no croissants during my visit
MoreReally cute, low key coffee shop with friendly staff and a great little outdoor seating area tucked in an alcove off the main thoroughfare. It’s like a little, unassuming oasis right in the city. Definitely a favorite here.
MoreLovely little yard, friendly staff, good coffee
Only place Ive ever seen where the music is played on vinyl records :also, cute cats might visit this place and theyre adorable!
MoreCogito coffee — one love ❤️ It’s one of the best coffee places in Zagreb with super nice pet friendly yard, good music and stylish interior inside😌
MoreNice calm location for a relaxing drink or coffee
Nice little courtyard. Had a coffee tonic and was pleased.
I love this place so much. Its like hanging out in a friends backyard. They also play music on records there and the matcha lattes are good.
MoreIndoor atmosphere was nice and perfect for working, but was a bit louder than the outside. WiFi is pretty good, the long espresso - nothing special.
MoreThis was such a beautiful place to sit, and the drinks were superb. Just wish they had some good when we came hungry to eat and ready to linger.
MoreNice hidden place with a lovely outdoor area and friendly staff. You can pay by card :the coffee with oat and cow milk didnt taste fantastic but the black one was really good.
MoreThe bill was 28 kunas (one cold brew coffee, which is already pricey for coffee), I gave the waiter 30 kunas and he kept my change even though I didnt say I wanted to give him a tip. This is very disrespectful towards a client because waiters are always supposed to give the change back and then if the client wants, he/she will decide whether to leave you the change (or moreas a tip!
MoreSuper chill atmosphere and good coffee highly recommended
The best coffee in Zagreb
I dare to say the best coffee in Zagreb by flavour. The coffee place is funky and colorful. They even grind the coffee in the area next to the coffee place so you know what you are drinking is fresh.(The only thing for owners to consider is to increase the amount of coffee you get as it is enough for 3-4 sips only)
MoreNice place to stop for a coffee. A bit hard to find as it is hidden inside of a property and not straight in the street as one would expect
MoreGreat coffee and amazing staff! I think it’s one of the best specialty coffee place in Zagreb.
MoreThey used to have one of the best masala chai lattes in Zagreb, so disappointed that they removed this item from the menu :( I was regularly coming here during the week for this chai latte but I guess not anymore
MoreVery good coffee and nice staff. The building close to are taking care of cats (or maybe the cafewhich is a very nice touch.
MoreVery nice place for coffe in Zagreb. They serve their own coffe. The vibe of place is awosome. The music, the whole interior.
MoreVery cool chill low key comfy cozy spot for coffee etc. Outdoor space as well. Great vibe - music was actual vinyl records played on a frikkin record player -CLASSIC. great barista as well super cool and friendly and welcoming. Its off the beaten path and a hidden gem. Will definitely go back.
MoreExcellent cappuccino! The atmosphere is quite nice too. It’s a bit tucked away off the Main Street so be prepared to maybe not see it right away.
MoreThe atmosphere here is nice with good music. However, they dont have any food like croissant. About drink, I ordered chai latte which was good but not special. It cost 17kn. And my boyfriend ordered cappuccino which cost 15kn. They have WiFi which is good.
MoreThis is hands-down the best coffee place I’ve been to in Zagreb.Yes, it’s a bit hard to find. The sign from the street is a bit discrete but once you walk through a little courtyard you find one of the cutest seating areas and most importantly - one of the best coffees in town. They offer both filter and espresso options as well as some soft and alcoholic (I believedrinks. You can choose your own beans which are freshly roasted. The barista - oh my - was just so friendly and chatty and just in general, absolute pleasure to deal with. The place is very nicely decorated, there’s a lot of literature to read about the coffee itself as well as a record player.I promised I’ll come back here when in Zagreb next.
MoreGreat coffee and also ice cream (need to try the one with the cookies!).Hidden gem in old unsuspecting yard! Must visit.
MoreGood coffee and friendly service in an interesting surrounding.
Cute coffee shop. Try the spinach and blueberries ice-cream :-)
Comfy, cute, hidden place in the center of Zagreb, close to Svacicev trg, perfect for a coffee with friends or colleagues on your work brake or after work. Very good for gigs in the summer and winter times...have to close quite early in the evenings however, cause of the neighbours:(
MoreGreat place and great coffee!
This is great coffee! We first had it in Dubrovnik and had to try the HQ in Zagreb. The coffee is excellent, we had to buy a roast to bring back home to Canada. The atmosphere and ambience in the yard is nice as well. Highly recommend stopping by.
MoreGreat cold brew coffee, especially appreciated that they offer both soy, almond and pay milk! They have a backyard where you can sit. A bit hard to find, and backyard could do with some more decoration (flowers, trees, cushions- otherwise I would have given it 5 stars!
MoreIt is a tucked away cafe which offers outdoor seating during the warmer month. It is hard to find as the entrance, through the court yard, is hardly marked. Coffee is delicious and they offer various beers. It seems to be more a cafe for locals but English is spoken. NO smoking inside which makes it more pleasant
MoreGood quality coffee and great atmosphere! I really appreciated that its a non smoking coffee bar that is rare in Zagreb <3
MoreI spend a lot of time in coffee shops and this is one of my favorite coffee shops. They have great coffee, location and team. The place is located in a courtyard so its quite. The team is very talented and cares about the coffee. Its smoke free within the coffeeshop which I appreciate and can be hard to find in Zagreb.
MoreThe baristas know what theyre doing. Everything from atmosphere to coffee to music was really nice. Huge plus for us - no indoor smoking. I appreciate that coffee and cigarettes go together for most people but I was struggling finding a place where I could go without smoke. The patio still offers smoking space for those who prefer the pairing. I will be coming back again.
MoreQuasi hidden cafe (pass the gate and youll find itwhere nice espresso is served by a cool waiter, all day lonf till 23hrs. They do booze too.
MoreIll give it 4 stars just to boost local entrepreneurs. I live in the neighborhood actually and went there a few times for a coffee with friends. The setting is perfect for a morning coffee or an afternoon beer.It is unusual to get coffee in Zagreb which disappoints me, but I have to admit that I got it here. I dont like to give bad reviews. Thats why I gave 4 stars instead of less. Hope the coffee gets better.
MoreI am a middle-aged woman traveling solo and for the most part, my experience in Zagreb has been good. Since I leave tomorrow, I was looking for a nice place to enjoy the finally nice weather and have a coffee outdoors. Im on foot so I googled places nearby and based on the great reviews, I went here. Found the alleyway and wandered into the courtyard which was happily the right place. Lots of empty tables, but being unsure of how it works (do I just sit or do I go inside where I can see 2 guys behind the counterl had also read you could buy coffee beans, so I was thinking of getting some to take back for souvenir. I opted to walk in to where they were. They both continued to talked to each other and completely ignore me. I looked around and even went to the counter. They then turned their backs and started fiddling with some electronic device. Never once said anything to me. I left to spend my money elsewhere. Apparently, if youre an older American woman you dont exist. Too bad. Im not sure what the deal is here. They may not like Americans? I bet they like our money though. Disappointing..
MoreAwesome, clean and cozy place. Stuff is very polite. Yard is beautiful!!!BUT, I would give 4,5 stars just because I think that price for coffee with milk (13 kunasis a lil bit too much.
MoreAn amazing little coffee shop in a houses backyard. The entry is not quite easy to find, since the entry is a houses regular entry gate and there are no signposts (or I just missed them). Nevertheless, the inside is amazing since you can sit in the sun all morning and enjoy good coffee. Additional, its really quite there. Smoking is allowed outside, I am not sure about the house rules inside. I would definitely recommend it!
MoreAwesome coffee, service and space in Zagreb! We visited all the Cogito coffee outlets in Dubrovnik, Zadar and Zagreb and they are all very consistent.
MoreGreat small coffee shop away from the busy streets to drink some coffee, tea or other beverage in a relaxed atmosphere. Staff is really nice and espresso was great. Seeing coffee roasting next door makes the experience even better.
MoreAbsolutely a great coffee shop.Well balance "Tesla" blend. So good!Perfect trained baristas, and a nice atmosphere, inside and outside. The perfect cappuccino in Zagreb! no doubt also the espresso!
MoreGood cogito coffee, rad server, and we got hooked on the sour cherry rakija (yay for day drinking!). A lovely courtyard, super comfortable to read and work. We were regulars for as long as we could pretend to live in Zagreb.
MoreThis place has excellent specialty coffee. There is also a roastery there and you can buy coffee beans. The place is maybe a bit pricey for the look and feel which you get. The toilets are clean but more like two stars.People who visit this place are trendy but kind of alternative and the place looks like that, a bit shabby. The prices arent shabby though.
MoreThe best place to drink and buy excellent coffee. Newly renovated with nice and helpful stuff. Great alternative music in the background. The coffee roastery is right next to the cafe. The cafe is, as the name suggests, inside a courtyard and thus disconnected from the noisy surroundings of the city centre. The courtyard serves as a terrace during summer.
MoreAmazing coffee and location. You probably won’t know about it unless somebody took you there situated between greenery and old Zagreb buildings. It offers a beautiful, quiet place to hang out and drink very good tea. The inside of the place is also very nicely decorated and chill. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a more relaxed, introspective vibe
MoreExcellent coffee! They have coffee blends made specially for them. Cafe is located in the yard of the building block (hence the nameso its isolated from the city noise. Cozy interior and spacious terrace.
MoreThe place is well hidden inside a block, so it could be a quiet place to sit with your coffee and read. However, the music is usually played a bit too loud to suit my taste. The coffee is excellent, and it comes from the Cogito roastery. For that this place is well worth visiting for anything but sitting quietly reading over your coffee; so, take a friend with you.
MoreAfter six days in Budapest, and on my third in Zagreb, FINALLY-a really good cup of coffee. They brew their own blend (Tesla), and it was excellent. Add in a friendly, very patient and helpful barista, a lovely patio area off the street, and youve got a superb coffee break. I walked a little out of the way to try this place-so glad I did. Down what looks like a driveway between buildings, just keep going-its worth finding!
