In Belém Hostel in Queluz

Terribile . Consiglio assolutamente di starci alla larga . Il materasso di una ragazza aveva evidenti chiare macchie nere da insetti , è stato tolto , ma io sono rimasta tutta la notte con il terrore che anche il mio che aveva i bordi tutti neri avesse insetti al suo interno. È tutto dismesso , le porte non si chiudono ,non cè nessuna cura di nulla e questo non fa bene neppure allanima. Sono anche stati antipatici, una tedesca alla reception , con la mia prenotazione facendomi pagare 4 notti in più che io non ho usufruito . Di solito questo non lo fanno negli ostelli . Stateci alla larga . Brutta atmosfera .

We stayed for 3 nights and it was great!It didn’t seem to have any problem with insects like I read on a comment.The rooms were clean and the location was close to city center.The staff was very nice and helpful.

PIOR hostel que já fiquei hospedada.É certo que o preço é baixo, mas o prejuízo de ficar em um lugar infestado por percevejo não tem economia que compense.Eles trocam o lençol porém isso nada resolve, o local está infestado por bichos.Vou mostrar como fiquei para vocês verem que não é exagero. Fui tonta de não ler os outros comentários que alertavam da epidemia.A dona (Raquelse faz de preocupada porém como ela sabe que as pessoas estão de passagem ela pouco se importa por de fato chamar uma empresa que esterilize e acabe com o problema. Acho absurdo locais assim continuarem de portas abertas sem que órgãos públicos venham tomar medidas necessárias.Cheguei a ir ao hospital, e ao informar a dona, ela estava completamente despreocupada, o que eu gastei com pomadas e medicamentos dava para ter ficado em um local bem melhor.Fiquei amiga de mais gente hospedada lá e não demorou para eu receber fotos parecidas com as minhas...Se por alguma razão a dona tiver a cara de pau de responder que o que eu estou dizendo aqui não é verdade, não tenho problemas em postar os laudos médicos e fotos das outras pessoas que também foram picadas (com a autorização dessas pessoas, logicamente)A dona tem somente uma preocupação: que vc pague a estadia. Logo se vc for intoxicada, mordida, picada etc ela não fará absolutamente nada.Como eu disse anteriormente, o barato sai caro... faz tempo que passei por essa experiência terrível e NUNCA mais me esquecerei, principalmente porque carrego marcas na pele 😥

El sitio me gustó poco,en los baños huele a humedad que tira para atrás, la famosa terraza esta en obras por lo que está cerrada, estas obras no me dejaron dormir, la gerente no está mucho en el local casi no pude ni pagarle. Lo único bueno es que hay un supermercado justo debajo.

As fotos da propaganda são bonitas, não é nada aconchegante, sem falar que a noite às 23:00h os hóspedes juntamente com os funcionários ficam conversando em voz alta, dificultando o sono de quem precisa acordar cedo. Não recomendo!

Avoid this hostel at all costs! Bed bugs, dirt in the rooms, super tiny toilets, noisy mattress, spiderwebs in the room, very small breakfast... The photos may look nice but reality is different. Seriously go to a different place.

Péssimo Hostel. Lugar com pouca higiene, paredes "de papel"(passam todos os sons e não há como dormir, descansar, ler, ...e o pior : cama com percevejos, você passará a noite se coçando e acordará com bichos em você e seu sangue nos lençóis. Não se iludam com as fotos.

Ziemlich schmutzig und sehr laut!Gemeinschaftsbad mit Toiletten für Hobbits und Duschen für sehr dünne Menschen.Die vermutlich Angestellten des Hostel waren recht freundlich, allerdings ist diese Unterkunft eher was für Erstsemesterstudenten, die keinen gehobenen Anspruch gegenüber einer Unterkunft haben.

Small cozy rooms, nice helpful staff, good location outside Lisbon but well connected to the center (20minute tram/bus ride). Breakfast is very basic and cleanliness of rooms and (especially!bathrooms leaves much to be desired.

Расположен очень удобно. Рядом есть остановка автобуса и трамвая. Очень уютный хостел. Дружелюбные администраторы. Комнаты немного узкие, но удобные. Есть тирасса и минибар. Столовая просторная с большим столом и скамейками по периметру. Очень красиво и уютно.

Booked to stay here for 5 nights on 3 occasions. We arrived to discover they had cancelled the first booking without informing us, despite attempting to convince us they had. Having to call around and find new accommodation at 10pm put a real dampener on our holiday.Very narrow corridors gave the place a claustrophobic feel, as did the tiny, restricted bathroom: very hard to move around in.Dorm rooms are also tiny, and composed of triple bunks with the noisiest metal bed frames ever: impossible to even move position without making loads of noise. Why cant hostels oil their bunk bed frames or just buy decent wooden ones?!Kitchen a complete joke but lounge decent as is outdoor terrace area.Avoid if you like space, want to make a simple meal or are over 6ft as youll struggle to use the toilet.

Arrived at hostel to find our booking was cancelled by the hostel.We booked 3 months in advance and confirmed our booking 6 days before check in. On arrival the manager says our booking was cancelled a month ago due to it being fully booked and that she tried everything to contact us. So now we are in Lisbon having paid for taxi to get to the hostel and have to find another one for 3 nights. We did and it was the worst iv ever been in.There was about 3 other beds booked when we made the booking and if it was fully booked it wouldnt have taken 2 months to cancel or contact us. Ive had no calls, texts or emails from her or the hostel world site, which, on their title page, absolutely guarantees your booking once confirmed. As I have confirmation, 6 days before our check in date, its hard to believe her claim that it was cancelled a month in advance. Also if that was the case then why does it say on our booking that the 7 day deposit refund period has expired. She said our deposit was refunded which it wasnt. I got it back when we returned 2weeks later. If i didnt go back they wouldnt have refunded it. No apology or any kind of sympathy,just repeat of "we tried everything to contact you".Dishonest cocky and uncaring.How a booking that you have paid deposit and received confirmation for can be cancelled with no automatic refund is beyond me.This is my first bad review of anything. It really made us feel pretty bad on the first day of our holiday and left me with the deposit refund always on the back of my mind throughout the holiday. Be careful of this hostel and hostelworld website everyone.

스텝들이 굉장히 친절함. 야간버스를 타고 와서 매우 피곤했는데 먼저 들어가서 쉴 수 있게 일찍 준비를 해준 덕분에 일찍 체크인을 해서 쉴 수 있었음. 빨래를 하려면 4유로가 들지만 운이 좋게 무료로 빨래를 할 수 있었음.

Espaço agradável. Tudo muito compacto pois o espaço físico não é muito grande mas bem organizado e limpo. O terraço é muito agradável. pessoal muito simpático e atencioso. localização muito boa para quem quer explorar a zona de Belém. Pequeno almoço não deslumbra mas cumpre perfeitamente. Boa relação preço-qualidade. Indicado para viagens de curta duração.

The staff was nice and welcoming but overall the experience was pretty poor... Ive stayed in numerous hostels but had rarely been so disappointed.> a single power outlet in the (doubleroom> toilets and showers dont have locks & couldnt be smaller> rooms are very small (triple bunk beds, no room to circulate)> hot water issues> very thin walls> very basic breakfast (no tea :(...)> serious dust bunnies under the bedIts in Belem which is a touristy neighbourhood, but a bit far from the centre, we thought it wasnt the best location. We stayed elsewhere afterwards, close to Alameda, which made everything easier thanks to the metro (more reliable than buses). It was cheaper, more spacious and better equipped, so Id recommend doing something like that instead :)

Really great and inexpensive hostel! Nice breakfast included and lovely decor and lounge areas. A bit small and narrow, and the bathrooms are not great, but really lovely bedrooms!

Great place at a great location, friendly and smiley staff with well equipped kitchen and high standard rooms. Perfect terrace for a morning coffee or a midday relaxation.

Horrible place to book a stay. In my case I had to find another place in the middle of the night. I had this hostel booked through Expedia for more than a month and I arrived in the night about 30mim before the reception closes and no one was there. Tried to call all the phone numbers and no one answered. Next day went there to see whats happening and if I still have my room and there was no one again. Just after a lot of knocking at the door and ringing at the bell it came a girl that said to me that the hostel is closed for repairs and the only thing that she did was to apologise and say to me to find other hostels that they are plenty of them in that area. She was also saying that I should of received an email of cancelation but I never received anything, otherwise I would of book something else. Had to call Expedia to solve the problem and they also tried to call the hostel and no one answered as well so they didnt cope with anyone. I dont recommend this place as you can also be "the lucky one".

This was my only bad experience with an hostel in my life. The photos online are COMPLETELY different from the reality. I stayed in the big room with singles beds on the first floor. It was full of dust, little peaces of plastic and some peace of tissues. Furthermore the height of the room was not regular, so I have to walk bent over my back. If you stay in these beds you can not even read a book cause theres no space to sit in your bed. My locker was an old wood case with a little padlock that was COMPLETELY UNUSEFUL because it passes through the hole of the door, so anyone can open your door even if its "locked". The lady was pretty welcoming and kind, but when I discovered that the bathroom was absolutely tiny, with saloon-style doors for one toilet (so you can give a big hi five to everyone who is passing while you are inand the other toilet has no possibility to lock the door, and a beautiful hole in it. You have your feet literally coming out from the bottom of this door while you are sitting down on the toilet. The top were the three also super-small shower facing the toilets. After a few seconds of hot water, it become cold, and you cannot do anything to have it again. I tried two times all the three showers but nothing seems to work. When they tried the morning after they seems to work again. I tried to explain the situation and my disappointment but the girl went away and her brother didnt want to recognise anything. So the only thing that I could do was leave LOSING ALL THE MONEY THAT I PAID except for 5€ of the city tax. He answered me that he stayed in other hostels too, and when he was disappointed about the accommodation he lost his money. So I lost mine. Never again in this place. Thank you for your comprehension guys, really hope you are enjoying my money!

Une auberge de jeunesse pittoresque et à la déco marocaine où jai passé un superbe moment !Le personnel est très sympathique et accueillant et fait tout pour que notre séjour se passe dans les meilleures conditions possibles.La petite terrasse est un plus et est bien agréable lors des soirées dété ! Une petite supérette est située juste à côté de lauberge ce qui est bien pratique !Un lieu chaleureux que je recommande.

***BED BUGS/PERCEVEJOS*** O quarto de 5 camas está infestado de percevejos/bed bugs. CUIDADO. Fui obrigada a lavar toda minha bagagem e a comprar medicamentos alérgicos devido ao grande número de picadas. Não tive nenhum apoio da gerência.

- wunderschöne Einrichtung- liebevolle Angestellte- gute Lage ! (Nicht extrem zentral, aber gute Gegend, Bus ins Zentrum 1,85€- leckeres Frühstück (Kaffee, Brot/Brötchen, Kuchen/Kekse, Wurst und Käse, Cornflakes, nichts veganes)❗- nicht für übergewichtige geeignet (super enge Toiletten-Kabinen!)

This Hostel is AWESOME, I felt like if I was in my home. The energy, the staffs, Catarina a very beautiful and kind lady in the reception, the owners Raquel and Ana.. So kind, Raquel always smiling and is contagiant, and Ana, her mother.. Like a mom for everywone. Im in love with this place <3

Very cozy, Moroccan-themed, hostel with ease of access to the city; very practical for those who want to further explore the Belém area and associated attractions, all within walking distance.The private twin rooms and access to the communal kitchen are a guarantee of a relaxed and practical stay.

Amazing atmosphere, youthful environment, very calm and laidback, you certainly feel at home here. Recently open (may 7th 2016), they know how to overcome any issue efficiently and calmly. The hostel manager, Raquel, is amazing. Gives the best tips and always helps you out. And sometimes, a great homemade shot ;the rest of the staff is also impressive, and I cant stop but mention Raquels mom, Ana. The kindest woman alive. Shell treat you like her own child, and take you under her wing. Its certainly a place where the welcoming you receive is like being welcomed home by your family.
