Impero Caprarie in Bologna
Description
Privilege
Came after receiving a recommendation and loved the custard filled croissant and coffee. The patrons are local Bolognese which is a good sign.
MoreLove this place. Good coffee and delicious ricotta croissant. Lots of seating too!
MoreUnluckily, an unpleasant and loud choice with waiters awaiting my payment at once, just shortly after bringing in the coffee, standing there and watching me count the coins, which I honestly disliked. There are many other cafés just a few steps further I would rather visit next time.
MoreLocated in busy area many choice they have.we have :Cheese cake — ok at all no surpriseChocolate cake — very good one and you must tryCream coffee — coffee very strong but have cream balance it. good.Te Mojito - Love it. Very fresh drinkStaffs are So busy as 3 staffs take care everything but still have smile and helpful at all.Highly recommended as price is good !
MoreGood for a fast snack and drink
We had lunch here whilst visiting on a Friday. Great pastries, sweets and refreshing aperol spritz. Nice outdoor seating under the portico.
MoreAmazing Italian coffee and a big variety of pastries and snacks to choose from, that will complete your breakfast. Definitely worth the walk each morning, at least for us!!!
MoreGood pastry, very good staff , a little bit overpriced
Bad service, at the timetable says it closes at 22:00, we arrive ay 21:00 . One hour early and the y told us they close at 21:20 we said thats okey we’ll be gone before that. And after ordering they said it was not possible to take anything if we weren’t sitted already.
MoreLovely cafe, try to get a table inside tho too hot in the courtyard
Amazing for a coffee and sandwiches !!
The food and the drinks are not only beautiful but also very tasty! Our favorite Cafe to enjoy a break our Bologna sightseeing.
MoreLunch is perfect but aperitivo not tasty at all.We had lunch here, we had lasagna and tagliatelle. The lasagna was really tasty and one of the best I ever tasted and I lived in Italy for many years. Le Tagliatelle was also very tasty.I give one star less because we had also aperitivo there for dinner and the food wasn’t good at all. There were a lot of variety but not tasty. I would recommend lunch or breakfast but not aperitivo
MoreOk food, rude service.
The spoon was dirty and smelled terrible I guess they made a mistake giving the spoon that someone used (so I can’t use it). In addition to that, this place was too noisy, I even felt some dizziness due to too loud music. Dessert was not bad but not special either
MoreWhile this is a lovely place with nice pastries, the staff are less than friendly. There are many other bars with friendlier staff.
More3 different menus depending on where you eat. Its like youre eating in a place near a highway
MoreThe best croissants in Bologna (and probably in Italy)
Nice staff and good value for money. Buffet does get exhausted by 8 30 pm
The best breakfast for the price you could get in Bologna!Fresh, delicious and big cornetto with cappuccino for 3€!
MoreCertainly one of the best and most famous open happy hour in the lovely city of Bologna. In the menu you can choose a drink(large onefor 12 euro, which also include a buffet with a lot different sweet and sovery pastries as well as a pizza. I really recommend this place.
Moreunbelievably sweet, you can get here diabetes. Aperitivo is nice besides cocktails that contain tons of sugar as well.
MoreNice location.I really appreciated the XL drink with aperitivo, so something to eat.The price was fair, 16€ each for a drink and all the food that you see in my pictures.I just didn’t like that much the service, a little bit chaotic with something forgotten. But I surely recommend the place if you want a big aperitivo 😍
MoreIf you aim at having a fast lunch, this is a place you should check out. I sometimes stop by when shopping extends to the afternoon, they have a fantastic, very tasty daily menu, and if you are not super-hungry you can just have one dish and you will be well off. They have some good wines by the glass, making them a very nice choice.Aperitives are also nice, however there the accompanying dishes may suffer from the excess of crowd if you come in very busy hours (especially week ends), in terms of availability and variety. There are indeed a number of other places around that offer a similar service, but I tend to like their mix of features better than others.
MoreIts a modern cafe, not that nice to look at inside but the pastry is very nice
Very nice people, good food. Very good experience!
This is my first stop each day when I am in Bologna. The selections are always nice.
MoreStopped here to get a drink after a warm afternoon walking around Bologna. Sat outside and had a fruit juice. Pleasant atmosphere and the service was good. Maybe a bit pricey compared to other places but prices were clearly displayed so cant complain.
MoreTastes were okay but when we went there with my friend, they told us only place we can sit is outside. We sat there, after 10 mins another waiter came and told us that we should get up because there is no table for other customers! Is it a joke? Am I not a customer?! P.S.: Also table service is usually late..
MorePricy but worthy because of its tasteful cuisine, helpful and friendly staff, fast service and product quantity.
MoreWent there after 1800 hours, they have appetizer buffet if you buy a 11 € cocktail, the cocktails are quite big and tasty, and the buffet is also delicious and varied considering the low price, I think if you buy at least two drinks they bring you a pizza, they have vegetables, pasta, rice, and lots of other things, they even have small desserts, we loved it, everything was delicious and awesome value for prize.
MoreDelicious food, for your money’s worth! Excellent service by Kevin. He took his time to explain how the ordering process was for the mix plates and explained to us most of the dishes they were serving! Will be back again
MoreGood patisserie and coffee , but not as good for aperitif, quality of the food not the best but big variety
MoreReccomended for drinks and soft food
Certainly the best open buffer aperitivo in Bologna center. Drinks are huge and tastes amazing plus there are many options to choose from including non Alcoholic drinks. One pizza per 2 person - hot and tasty. Fancy and traditional dishes including a nice dessert section as well! Only 11€ for one.
MoreGreat place for a coffee and a pastry .Can be very crowded on the weekend.
The Impero is a very nice Bar / Cafeteria place in the very center of Bologna. You can find another one in Via dellIndipendenza. It is mainly a cafeteria but it is also available a very nice lunch menu.I didnt have the change to taste any main dish but, instead, I enjoyed the pastries that are awesome! The staff is kind and the place is very clean.Sometimes it gets overcrowded during pick hours (10 AMbut there is always room outside.I would recommend "bombolone alla crema" pastries.
MoreExcellent buffet, with hot, fresh and flavourful food. The staff were helpful, and the cocktails were incredible. Where else can you go for an unlimited buffet + cocktail for €11 that’s this good?!
MoreWe ordered 2 coffees and 2 croissants inside, I also asked if we should order at the desk or wait for the waiter. The waitress said just sit down and she will come. Then we asked after the coffees were served if we can sit outside, the waitress said yes and nothing else. Then after 2 minutes she came and said rudely to pay now. The bill was 9 euros and did not match the prices written on the menu (we should have paid 5.4 according to the menu- the coffee was almost double priced). Then we asked for explanation and they said if we sit outside, that is the price - nowhere written, even we asked the waitress if we can sit outside- not even mentioned it. After our complaint the arrogant answer was, this is Italy...
MoreFriendly staff, good coffee and excellent pastries. Contactless payments accepted.
MoreExcellent pastries and upscale lunch option. Tried both and enjoyed it very much.
MoreNice place for a sweet break
The appretivo is a great value here. For every two drinks, you get a pizza too. Decent selection of food. Very friendly considering we had a baby making a mess
MoreGreat place to pause yourself with really good coffee and nice snacks on really low budget.
MoreIn my opinion pros are; Good quality bakery, fast service, really a modern style cafe on the other hand cons are too noisy and crowded especially on Sunday, definitely not your choice if you need privacy or enjoy a relaxing moment.
MoreJust ok. Nothing special, but price is good inly becaysw it includes a drink....
Nice place-coffee, pastry, breakfast.Everything is really tasty.
Great option for breakfast. I loved the pistachio brioche. Great coffee.
the breakfast is very good, I love the pistacchio cornetto and the capuccino as well. At the afternoon you can eat all what you want with a cocktail but the truth is that is always crowded and the food sometimes is good and other times no.
MoreThe food is terrific, very very good. Mixed salads, daily dishes, and breakfast croissants are very tasty. Also, they have an aperitivo formula, buffet style. Personnel is mostly kind (except for one of themand the location is beautiful. Prices are OK.
