Imereti Georgian Restaurant - Georgian restaurant in Baku, Azerbaijan
Atmosphere was very beautiful, it made us feel like were dining in georgia. Cuisine and service was great
It is a great place where you can taste great Georgian dishes, salads and sauces. My favorites are walnut salad, kupati, Georgian khangali and cha-cha.
Delicious Georgian food at low prices. We had a feast. Highly recommended.
Love it, Hinkal is my favorite so far!
Very tasty meal. Recommended!
Oh i love Georgian food - and this płace is The one to go to of You want to get it!
Delicious Georgian cuisine! Nice service and very cozy interior full of national Georgian stuff. There is a second floor where a non smoking area is located with three rooms to fit a large amount of visitors.
We have been to this restaurant twice. Food is pretty tasty, so we returned, but the 2nd time it felt like 1995, full of smoke, unbreathable, so we left immediately after entering.
Wont recommend this place to anyone. Staff is very rude, we arrived there at 23:05 andve been told.that the kitchen was closed at 23:00. 2 days later,me and my friend reached them at 22:15 and what do you think? We have been told that kitchen is closed since 22:00. There were even people eating their meals at that time... Worthless place, believe me,just go to another place guys.
Harco soup was great. Service guys were very helpful and nice.
I love Georgian cuisine but the service here is AWFUL! 😏
I would not recommend this place for the negative experience I had there! The waiter had us waiting for every dish for ages, for no good reason. It was not loaded with crowd, but nevertheless we ate 15 minutes and waited hour and a half.Second, and even worse in my opinion- after the starters we were told the restaurant ran out of cheese. Meaning- no Imereti and Hachapuri and all the other delicious dishes. Guys, thats very unprofessional! Have you ever seen a pizzaria running out of pizzas or McDonalds running out of burgers? Neither have I!!! It really brought us down but we decided to stay...Third, and also an amateurs mistake- right at the end, before paying the bill, we were told they do not accept credit cards! Cash only! Could you beleive? Bad news for us- we had only part of the money. Dear personelle- you should always inform guests ahead in case you dont have a proper way to handle credit cards. Its the 21st century, for Christs sake! One can assume tourists might have only cards to pay with.I gave it two stars for the good things- the restaurant is decorated fashionably and the food is of satisfactory quality and reasonable prices.Honestly, not sure id go back here. They should really improve in terms of efficiency and organisatio.A pitty, thats all I can say...
Small dishes are fine. Khatchapoori is good. Cha cha is ok. Pork chop was not acceptable. Environment is like Tblisi.
Wow! Great food. Any thing was delicious. Excellent friendly service and price is reasonably low. Will come back.
Real georgian restaurant I have tested hengel , hacapuri and one meal chicken +cheese+mushroom food . All of them very very delicious , the brst onr is the last for me. Price is ver good. Hengel is one piece 1 azn. I advice this restaurant.
We came here for a dinner after reading enthusiastic reviews. Unfortunately, be aware that you have to come here only if you have to waste your time. We arrived at 7.15pm and at 10 pm we had to go to another restaurant because our dishes werent bring. We were so nervous and hungry! At 8.00 pm I asked of my khachapuri and the restaurateur said "Yes". At 8.45 pm I asked again "where is my meal" and the restaurateur said "Come come come" (?). At 9.30 pm, we decided to go to another restaurant, and finally at 10 pm we were able to pay for our two drinks and little snack and go away. So pay attention! I dont know why we were received this uncomfortable manner. Also, it wasnt either a crowded night in the restaurant.
Terrible service, cramped place in the basement so you feel the lack of oxygen inside. The tables are so close to each other you cant hear the person in front of you out of the noise of those sitting around. The wait time is very high (40-60min). And all this for mediocre food at best. Wasnt worth the wait. We didn"t like neither their khachapuri nor khinkali. Prices are way above average in the city. There are better options around. We dont plan to return
Khinkali and Khachapuri are delicious! Just like in Georgia. They serve great wine in clay pots. Georgian saad is the best I’ve tried so far
Amazing food and wine, the prices are very low. Great Georgian restaurant.
Good food good service good bill toilet a little dirty
Famous Georgian restaurant in the city centre. An interior design is obsolete and restoration is required. Anyway, I would recommend to come and have a taste yummy dishes they have.
Very good restaurant and they have a fresh lamb. Their ribs are supper delicious
3.5 stars to be honest. Dull atmosphere, Prices are reasonable, the menu has English and Russian languages in addition to Azeri, but no photos which makes it hard to choose. Food was good but not perfect, i have had better Georgian food somewhere else, and it takes about 30 minutes to arrive as they freshly prepare it for you.
Great food, excellent service, moderate pricing
Boring atmosphere, mediocre food, small portions ,and high prices
City center location. Not a bad place, with affordable price. But some remarks required attention.Seems that the last renovation of the hall and furniture was many years ago. The hall needs more lighting.
Good meat well cooked . Good service.
Staff is not caring about customer. Dumplings are very small and expensive.
Service was a bit slow but atmosphere was good and food was delicious
Great place. Bit pricey maybe. Lovely and entertaining waiters.
Incredible food — especially the lobio and beet salad. Wonderful atmosphere and hosts are very kind!
Reasonable prices, excellent food.
Note this review is from 2016.This is an awesome place to eat, the staff are super friendly, though it did help having someone that could speak Georgian. The house wines are deliciously dangerous. Eat drink and enjoy all this place has to offer.
Best restaurant best staffBusiness for 6 manat its very good
Friendly service, wonderful food, tasty housewines. Also love the chacha. I recommend this place.
Best Georgian food in the city. Get the Khinkali and Khachapuri. In all reality everything is great. English is spoken if needed, and they have menus in English, Russian, and Azeri.
Wonderful Georgian restaurant. Authentic food and great customer service.
Very nice place with Georgian cuisine. Great rate price/quality.
Try chacha with hot bread
Excellent food, great people and service! Coming here evdery time i in Baku
Extremely nice place. Good cuisine. Affordable prices.
Very rude waiter and food was very slow. Dont advise this place.
Good place, but food not so tasty
Simply, its the best Georgian restaurant in Baku!!!
The food is very tasty and reasonably priced (e.g.1 khinkaly - 1 azn, soups - 4-7 azn, shashlyk - 5-6 azn, khachapuri - 8 azn).Georgian and European cuisines. The interior is OK. Its in the basement, so not light and not airy.
While visiting Baku with my Azeri wife, our niece and her husband took us here. I had never eaten Georgian food. Im not much of a salad eater, but REALLY loved the cucumber, tomato and onion salad made with a walnut dressing. We also had a tomato based chicken dish with garlic and walnuts. A+Unequalled, however, was a "dumpling" dish called KHINKALI (Im sure that I spelled it wrong). Looking like a closed Medieval money pouch, it is filled with meat and boiled. You hold the pinched top, bite the sack, suck out the juice then add the tomato sauce. Superb! Enjoyed the cuisine so much that we went to another Georgian restaurant closer to our room away from downtown TWICE.Georgian cuisine uses a lot of pepper, and this restaurant did not skimp on the pepper. I cannot stand The hot of Mexican dishes made with hot peppers because the heat lasts so long, but I was fine with the heat from standard black pepper seeds.Khinkali is now a new favorite dish! The service was A+ and the cost VERY reasonable. At 1.60 monat to the dollar, six adults ate about 5 different dishes and had compote for about $35 US!
The food is really good. The khinkali are excellent! The house red wine is quite good.
Some of the best Georgian here in town. It makes us feel like were in Tbilisi when were enjoying this downstairs restaurant. Prices are good, food is well prepared, and the house wine is nice. Were there almost once a week!
Very nice place, foods tasty Georgian table wine perfect , prices are OK.
A very good restaurant! All I ate was delicious and the music was awesome, I would give more stars but I cant.
