Ilsan Lake Park in Seoul

A beautiful lake and park that is accessible to public. On a sunny day, you can see people jogging, bringing their dogs for walks, cyclists, picnickers etc...It is generally quiet and at time you can see group of young students visiting the park and spend their time watching nature & fauna.

I visit Ilsan Lake Park in the autumn season. The place is so beautiful, peaceful, and lovely. I visit here due to Kim Namjoon post on his IG. The place is that good.

Wonderful natural view

Gigantic park with lots to see and do for FREE. They have a glower garden which is beautifully maintained, childrens play area, running path, bike path, a water sprinker area that the kids can play in. The downside is that the kids area is sand, so if you dont want your kid covered in it, bring a change of clothes. Also, the sprinkler area is great for the kids but they run within a schedule so its not on continuously. Bring extra clothes and towels for the kids... either way, highly recommend.

Place to relax with the family ...man made lake and water falls beautiful view good health to walking running cycling exercise ...amazing landscape ... a lot of access near by a mall resto coffee shop with a lot of entertainment on going ..where can you find new friends ..relax and flower festival occurs many events going on... Ilsan Lake park is so beautiful, I really recommend coming here especially this time (springas there is a flower festival. If you can try to look at it in the day and night to get a different view.

Just like the countrys burgeoning cultural exports; sure its artificial, but its beautiful, too.

Such a beautiful place in the heart of Goyang city!!! So serene and yet rich with beauty in a vast area. I totally recommend this..

Me and my friend decided to visit this park because its NamJoon hometown, we spend very long time lingering there XDTime flow faster when we indulge in the beautiful scenery。

The only reason I visited this lake again to see the pretty hydrangeas. As you see, I visited here a bit late, the hydrangeas already burnt? by the hot 🌞. Besides the pretty hydrangeas, there are many other photo spots as well. If you plan to go here, better arrive before 12pm, otherwise, youre gonna find line of cars waiting to enter the parking lot. Even if you can enter the parking lot, you have to keep circling the parking lot until you find free space.

This is one of the best place for someone who live in Ilsan or nearby..this is ideal place to exercise and taking a Walk or just spending time with friends and family..

Big beautiful park. Two stars removed as they removed the running track, and many people run there these days, so is really a minus.

The awesome place for the runners.There are various running club members such as Ilsan Marathon (ILMAand other club members run around every day and specially on week ends .The place get more beautified during the Light festival and then flower festival days . Flower festival price around 12K KRW.Boat riding is additional feature to enjoy in the lake .So totally a place for relaxation and entertainment.

Definitely one of the most well-known places of Ilsan, Lake Park is a special landmark for people in this city. Many local events, festivals are held in and around the park. Its beautiful scenery from all four seasons allow people to take a break from their busy daily life.

A nice quiet and calm place to come. The lake is not very small. You can take a nice walk for maybe an hour. There are places to sit down and relax along the way. It was not busy. A nice place to walk and even sit down and relax. I recommend it.

Although this place is an artificial lake park, it seems like natural park because of lots of tree. You can enjoy this really big park in various ways such as riding a bicycle, walking and taking a rest, etc. You can also see various flowers, especially roses on Jun. This is the best place to spend time with people you love in Goyang.

The park it self does not feel like a park more like a huge memorial of peace which is very wierd considering south korea is still at war with north korea, however it has a huge body of water and a refreshing atmosphere a great place to walk your dog and run but when it rains you need to stay away from this park, if you want to have your umbrela taken away by the wind

Beautiful place with walking and biking paths through gardens, bridges, a playground, basketball court, and a few fountains. Peaceful place to walk, jog, run, talk, rest, go on a date, contemplate life and the universe, study, etc. Truly a wonderful park that has only gotten nicer, better, and more attractive since 7 years ago when I first lived in Ilsan.

What a beautiful place and flower festival. This year 2019s flower festival was ended on May 12. There will be another one next year.

Ilas park is surrounded by beautiful lake and beautiful flowers. In spring time... April -May international flower festival will be conducted. Beautiful decorations with varieties of flowers with be done.Nearest Metro Station is jeongblasan.Tickets price is 12000won.No discount for foreigners.If we carry food along with us then we can enjoy food with nature.To cover entire park around 3 to 4 hours is required.But it will crowded.We can take some nice pictures.

I love this place.I visit every time I come to Korea.Its at its peak, in terms of beauty, in Autumn and Spring.Can easily spend a day, if you were to walk every track/path this place has.

Beautiful park especially in the autumn when there are lots of colorful trees: green, yellow and red ones. Great lake view. You can also rent a bike. Its really nice, peaceful and quiet place inside a city.

What a beautiful park, largest man made lake in South Korea I believe. Beautiful gardens, nice garden structures, pagoda, bridges, loved it

Wonderful bike path for jogging (4.7km), beautiful trees, flowers, and plants, and great events held frequently.

Beautiful lake park, good for walking or a picnic. You can walk around it for at least a 1.9 km session. I didnt try this time but there are water bikes available for rental, 3 people for 15,000 won. The lake houses huge fish. Theres an event hall in the park grounds, hosting a flower festival when I visited. Great for kids.

It is one of the pride of Ilsan. There are various events including a light festival and a flower fair. The shining lake and bike riders combine to create a wonderful view. You can also watch Busking at night. I recommend lake park if you want to find a place to rest with your family. This is a perfect place to relax. But keep in mind that there is only a small parking space.

Well developed garden on banks of lake with most recreational activities and food. Boating too can be done here.

The plaslce was so crowded because of flower festival. But if you willing to walk a little further youll find a spot to chill just beside the lake. Its a nice place to do some picnic or just chilling

This place is awesome. Quiet and relaxing place to ease mind.

I went to Ilsan lake by subway train .From Seoul station , I went to Jongno 3(sam)-ga station which is in line number 1. Then I transfered to line number 3 orange line. Then I rode in Daewa train. I stopped at Jeongbalsan station . Exit number 1 or 2. In there you can ask the people about how to go to ilsan lake.

The park is family friendly. So many things to do.

This place doesnt have a lot of grass but it is a wide open space to go for a walk or enjoy the view with friends. Very close to shopping areas to get lunch!

The best place to go to relax with your friends and family. You can go for bike rides. Theres flower themed parks. Beautiful view of the lake. Great for pickniking.

This a perfect place for walking or sitting on a bench in summer especially. There r several buildings, both ancient and modern. In winter u can enjoy the "led sculptures" of Goyang Light Blooming Festival outside and inside the flower exhibition hall
