Love to know its history and the best coffee brandy.
Had a great quality time with myself.
Theri an entrance fee that costs 100 pesos.
Definetly the best place for art enthusiast like me! Great painting details, organized, and many art ideas showcase in the place.

One of a kind contemporary museum located in the City of Love💜Recommended to all who love masterpieces…
Very nice place to hangout and take some pictures. The brandy museum is a must visit since the tour is free.
This is a bucket list achievement for me, i always wanted to visit this place but because of schedule conflict i was not able to do so. But today its "bucket list achieved", as expected the artistry of Filipinos especially the Antiqueños are showcased. You can see the work of arts of the artist in the ground floor free of charge, no entrance fee, for the 2nd and 3rd floor you have to pay but in a minimal cost and its indeed worth it. Try to visit this place and you will be surprise how talented people in Western Visayas are.
A world class collection in a small city is a must see. The museum features Ilonggo, Filipino, and International contemporary works of arts. Among the notable artists featured are Charlie Co, Arturo Luz, Salvador Dali and many others.Entrance Fee is Php 100, Php 80 for senior citizens.
Always a good place to go back. A go-to place for art appreciation with family and friends. Great place for introverts too!Events, artworks and other activities makes you revisit everytime.
Good summary of Ilonggo food culture! The exhibit is also very accessible since it is just a few minutes walk from Festive Walk Mall.
I appreciate going to Ilomoca. As someone who recently relocated here in Iloilo, it is good to know that the city promotes artistry and it is showcasing local talents. I am glad to have seen beautiful works of art and will come back once they open the whole gallery up! 👍👍👍
The museum is really amazing and it shows authentic local masterpieces. I appreciate the details and its a pride to witness the various expressions of local artists through Art. Surely will visit again and will recommend the museum to others. ❤️✨
One of a kind MUSEUM here in Iloilo City, Philippines. I love ILOMOCA because they help and appreciate the local talents, how their ideas turn into magnificent art. Kudos to the people behind this ❤️
I love ILOMOCA because it showcased the creativity of local artist. The place is quite amazing. A must visit place for all the tourist esp the art lover :)
I love ilomoca because it is a place where ilonggo artists are given the chance to really show and promote their work that truly shows their creativity, lifestyle and the ilonggo culture
ILOMOCA is one of my favorite places to stop by because Im fascinated by the art culture and life of the Ilonggos. Definitely a must visit place for all tourist.
I love ILOMOCA because it is the first of its kind (being the only contemporary art museum in not only the Visayas, but Mindanao as well). It provides exhibition spaces and galleries for Ilonggo artists to showcase their works. It has been an enriching experience being able to view the housed collections and artwork in ILOMOCA. I look forward to visiting and experiencing new exhibits soon!
As an Ilonggo artist, it is an honor and privilege to have an art museum exclusively for Ilonggo visual artists. I love the museums architecture and the mood is truly world-class. Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art (ILOMOCAserves as a platform to showcase Ilonggo art not just locally, but globally.
I have visited quite a number of museums and it really is one of the modern ones. It features new talents and unique techniques. The fee they collect is reasonable.Camera is prohibited at the second level but then, it is worth visiting if you are in Iloilo.
The arts presented are different and one of a kind.. must visit place...
Its quite amazing, the art is very nice
A very impressive museum with tremendous significance in the Philippines. Spanning 3,000 sq m over three storeys, ILOMOCA is the first contemporary art museum in the Visayas-Mindanao region dedicated mainly to Filipino and Ilonggo artists and is also part of the magnificent and highly artistic 72-hectare Iloilo Business Park development by Megaworld. The museum is in a Spanish-style building and features some truly stunning works by established Ilonggo attists such as Rock Drilon, Ed Defensor and Jose Tence; up-and-coming local artists such as Clairelyn Uy, Toti Cerda and Moreen Austria; and international masters such as Salvador Dali and Adam Miller.Iloilo is one of the provinces with the greatest wealth of artistic talent in the Philippines. As one explores this museum, one truly gets the sense of this depth of talent and also the passion with which the resplendent collection was curated.
The name of this place truly lived up to its meaning. A museum of Contemporary Art. Every art work truly connects with you. I love how the place is curated and how every art piece is highlighted. We took a few picture on the first floor (for souvenirbut we stopped taking it as we explore the upper floor of the building. It is true that some things are more beautiful when you look at it through God-made pair of lenses, our eyes.
Nice place. Beautiful arts display.
In this place, you can find the most important medium art of Filipino artists in our country. Gives a lot of symbols and heavy emotions to the arts. It also inspires the people who see it especially the people who attend this place.
A clean and modern three-level museum housing contemporary artworks of both Ilonggo natives and foreigners. Was particularly impressed with the places modern and spacious interior and the operators effort to catch up with other countries MOCA. Was just slightly disappointed with the limited artworks displayed in the exhibits and the presence of artworks created by non-Ilonggo natives. Could have been better if the museum exclusively showcased artworks of people born in the province.
My first museum here at Iloilo City and it is well curated. The museum is over-all amazing with various galleries that are sanctioned to magnify specific crafts and topics, my favourite being the Adoracion Gallery, wherein the mix of different dynamics of art plus the injection of pop-culture that not just pops color but also nationalistic messages. Kudos to the staff and the curators as well! Definitely, will be visiting with friends soon!
ILOMOCA displays great artworks. However, it would have been better if the staff will explain facts about those arts while you are having a tour around the place.
If youre an art enthusiast and you want to take a break from the busy streets of Megaworld Iloilo, then this 3-floor-museum is right for you.Its a 1-2 minutes walk from the Festive Walk Mall. Youll be welcomed with a clean, modern and serene atmosphere.Entrance fee:Adult Php 100Student Php 50Payment will be at the reception area upon entering the museum (in between the escalator and souvenir shop). Youll be then briefed by the receptionist with the rules and regulations while he/she attaches the guest wristlet on your wrist.Picture taking is now allowed (except for selfies and camera flash). You have the freedom to stroll all over the place. However, be aware that they have a tight security. Literally, like they have a security guard and a staff in each gallery. So wherever you go, they will follow you in a distance. But dont worry, they do their best to be in discreet if they feel like you want solitude. Theyre also very accommodating. Like this one Mister Guard who is so kind he offered to take a picture of me with the painting and sculptures using my camera. Another Miss Guard I met is angle-conscious and she tries to take pictures with a good lighting. All of the paintings and sculptures are mind-blowing. There are some pieces which you need to get a closer and longer look (and some which needs better lightingto see the details and the message they wish to convey.
One of a kind museum in Iloilo City, Philippines. Houses private collections of a prominent Ilonggo to share his love of arts to his fellow Ilonggos. Located in a trendy part of the city where a new mall and restaurants are within walking distance.
Entrance fee is 150php. Visitors are not allowed to take photos on the 2nd floor. The masterpieces show how incredible the artists are. These will lead you to the era they were made at.
Great collection. Various pieces covering different media... From realists to impressionists, paintings to sculptures... A must see when in Iloilo.
It is the perfect place for lovers of the contemporary arts—from paintings, drawings to sculptures and other installation art pieces. This three-level museum regularly updates its exhibits and curated shows. The entire place is clean, modern, and well-maintained. There is also tight security on all floors. Its museum staff members are professional and kind. It offers considerable locker or storage area for the guests small luggages or backpacks. It also has a gift shop that also sells art supplies, aside from the usual souvenir items like magnets and t-shirts. An advice though: Careful with your selfies or photo-ops because photography of some art pieces are not allowed.
The entrance fee is expensive but I understand because it is I guess privately owned. Its a museum filled with personal collection. I hope there will be a guide who will explain the paintings or even just to explain why he collected such artwork. I went there with my family and just looked at each collection and went home. Aside from that the place is spacious and cold. One time trip to the museum is enough for me. Hopefully there will be other exhibits in the future.
Wide range of art and artists. They do not allow photography in Galleries 1-4 but did not really spoil the experience for me. Excellent place to visit but would be better if they have more benches as the place is quite big.
It is new. Its a wow to Iloilo, Philippines. Located in the business park of Iloilo. At the facade is Iloilos hero in a horse ride and the white-painted building symbolizes how contemporary it is. The Galleries at 2nd & 3rd floor showcases known artists in their own known medium in art. Staffs are such a very good welcomer. It is a 100% recommended to see in Iloilo, Philippines.
Iloilo is more than just batchoy. There are a lot of arts every Ilonggo can be proud of. Appreciate the local talents by visiting and supporting our arts at ILOMOCA. Bring in your friends and share the place to everyone.
Going around the museum, I felt pride in being an Ilonggo. The art pieces from established Ilonggo artists were amazing. They are not for sale, although theres a shop where you can buy museum souvenirs. You can take pics on the first floor but its not allowed on the 2nd and 3rd. Entrance fees, P100 adults, P50 students, P80 senior. They also have The Box for conferences, etc.
A nice places to visit when your at Festive Walk. Houses a lot on interesting paintings and sculptures. Entrance is P100 at the ment. You can only take pictures at the ground floor, backpacks not allowed inside the museum.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to my birth citys first contemporary art museum... three floors of amazing collections of work from Ilonggo, Filipino and international artists including Joan Miro and Chagall!I could easily spend hours here looking at all the pieces! Entrance fees are at $2 (100 pesosonly but photography is not allowed in the 2nd and 3rd levels. Theres a gallery downstairs with a changing exhibition and a small museum shop, although the shop is a bit boring and lacks oomph, to be honest.Nevertheless, this place should be added on your list when visiting Iloilo.
This is an additional must-see in the city in response to the resurging interest of Filipinos (particularly Ilonggosin various works of art. Entry fee ranges from 50Php-100Php. I assure you that its all worth it to pay a visit here to appreciate contemporary arts. After enjoying artworks, you may savor local delicacies and cuisine just beside the museum. Its location being at the center if the bustling business district of makes it more convenient to everyone.
I am rating ILOMOCA a 10/5 stars. This is really a must-go-to place in Iloilo! True, they have the entrancee fee but its all worth it specially if youre into art and architecture or just a fan of both. The place and the artworks are so cool that I really recommend that you see this! They dont allow cameras in certain areas of the museum but its because the artworks are just too precious. You can witness different artworks with varying styles and media. 💕💕
Entrance Fee: P100.00 (Senior citizen and Student discounts available)Love the place, a much needed upgrade to the art and culture scene in Iloilo. The ambiance is classy and refined. I do not understand why photography is limited only to the lobby but not inside the galleries amf also the check-in on all the bags even small ones. Also their entrance procedure needs to be improved for better efficiency
