An honest review of Ilios K Village ResortI’ve just come back from a week away at ilios k village resort. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The lovely Anna greeted us with such a friendly smile. Our room was lovely and spacious with no faults. The food was lovely with a good choice. A pasta dish, meat dish, fish dish and a vegetarian dish. It can become a little repetitive but this is a budget all inclusive. No one will go hungry that’s for certain. Lunch was similar to tea. Breakfast had a varied choice of continental and cooked.I don’t drink alcohol so I can’t comment on the bar in the evenings but there was enough choice of soft drinks. The pool areas were amazing. 2 seperate pools one more aimed at adults and one aimed towards families although you can use both.No entertainment in the evenings apart from a little music but that’s what is advertised and most people made there own entertainment in the form of cards or board games. It was nice to sit and connect with everyone.Anna and Dimitra on reception really went the extra mile with us. Nothing was too much trouble. I believe we have made friends for life.It goes without saying that this hotel is not aimed at party goers etc. This is for those who want to experience a slower pace of life.It is as it’s advertised I didn’t expect anything more. It’s all advertised in the write up of the hotel what’s included.Overall I definitely would return. In fact can’t wait to book for next year.
Arrived here 21/9/22.. this was booked as an all inclusive 🤣 what a joke!! The best part of this hotel is the pool areas… the bars are very limited, when I used the pool bar it was a choice of beer coffee or Fanta when I asked for a cocktail like the bottles of cocktails on bar I was told to go mini market??? There is no snack bar at pool… it’s a tray of unbuttered curled up triangle kiddies sandwiches and cake so dry it will choke you😮As for entertainment programme…there isn’t one!! Absolute RIP OFF!!! Pool bar staff need a course on customer service.. one in particular very rude and abrupt!
Wouldnt class as a 4star hotel like you get charged when check in. Better 3 stars
Still here now the hotel is lovely ,, clean , grounds are beautiful,, food sans most nights one or / different meals but plenty to choose from , bars restaurants are juT up the road 10 min walk ,, then the beach the bottom of the main strip ,, 3 rd day here no complaints yet it’s allGood
This hotel is all you need if you just want a place to sleep. The staff seemed abrupt at times but some where friendly. The room we had was very basic but all that was needed. Others we stayed with had the big rooms with plenty of space. 2 good some swimming pools woth aqua aerobics. The outdoor areas where well kept. The food was very simple and samey. They did do gyros one night which where lovely. Spag bol. And chips Where available every night and the same salads lunch and dinner. Good for vegetarians. Personally ourselves we stayed for 6 days and went out for the last 2 to eat. The alcohol is very limited and weak with a daily cocktail. During the day you only get the option of beer or soft drinks, we ended up buying our own spirts, that said it didnt seem to bother the staff and they allowed it (but why wouldnt they 😆also a 2 drink max per person. for an all inclusive it was disappointing that we provided most things for ourselves.I believe theres a restraunt at the top however it was never open when we looked. Theres no entertainment on in the evenings and not much atmosphere. The bars and restaurants where just under a Kilometer away, and a large supermarket just up the road. so for that the location is good.
Please dont book this hotel its a nightmare this a 0* hotel
Positives:-Hotel was ok, with 2 big swimming pools, we liked a lot.-Good relax area by pool with a lot of deck chairs- food was fine, everyday very similar but with one or two new, “Greek” dishes - nice staff among the waiters and barmans-rooms cleaned everyday- the room we finally received was ok, big with balcony- bus to the beachNegatives:-when arriving at 6 am, our room was not ready yet and we got offered a room way below the standard we paid for, far away from the complex (in the middle of the field), ugly, with ants on the floor. Hotel manager told us rudely that all rooms are the same standard and we will not be spending time there anyway. We found out later that’s not true.- lady at the shop was not very nice and helpful- no animations at the hotel in the evenings and the aqua areobic never happened during whole week because not enough guests were interested-snacks at the bar and desserts during meals could be better
Amazing hotel. The best food with good staff and nice atmosphere/service.
If youre going to pay for £600pp for all inclusive then you cant complain. However Id not pay any more than that, reasons being:1its not made clear on what youre fully entitled to. For instance I learned only two flavours of ice cream were free. On my last day!2snack time only offers a few cakes and sandwiches.3the alcoholic drink choices are minimal. No choice of free cocktails except the day special. And youre not allowed spirits during the day.4food was ok. There is a small range, but I can see the limitations with chicken nuggets, spag bol and chips being a constant item.5cleaning has somewhat improved in the room. For the first two nights I had sheets that were stained. Towels hadnt been changed for a few days either. But they wont top up the soap dispensers in your room.6no evening entertainment. No day entertainment. They use youtube for music at the main bar.7only had one bad interaction with a staff member. She was not in the shop and we helped ourselves to the free ice cream. She appeared just as we finished scooping. For her to take what we had, throw it back into the freezer, say its not self service and give us the scoops we just did! She was rude, and it was pointless if she was going to give us the scoops we did anyway?Basically, dont pay premium for a non premium service.
We had an amazing holiday here as a family of 5. The room was perfectly set out for 2 adults and our 3 children. The staff were all friendly and would go above and beyond to help you. It is what I would call basic all inclusive. The poolside bar offered soft drinks and beer and wine with a selection of sandwiches fruit and cake from 4-5. From 6 the inside bar offered beer wine spirits (limitedwith the offer of one specified cocktail a day until it closes at 11pm. The seating area outside is not that big so we sometimes struggled to find a seat on an evening, but theres always plenty inside. We really enjoyed the food, and never struggled to find something we liked, however, we do like all foods. They provide a shuttle bus to the beach but we found it a nice walk (about 15 minutes). Overall for what we paid, it was worth the money (compared with other holidays we looked at in Greeceand we were happy and would return.
Posted here for 1 night after Jet2 flight was delayed 14 hours.Staff were very quick to allocate rooms to all who arrived and even provided water on arrival.Rooms were spacious and had brilliant zoned air-con, 1 for main room, 1 for bed room (which went to 16 degrees, perfect for the daytime)On site is a rooftop breakfast bar, shop, pool etc.Very impressed, only downside is the location as its quite remote, have to walk a lot of back roads to get to Tigaki.
Wonderful staffDelicious foodClean roomsClean poolVery well equipped playground ( my kid enjoy it)Spacious parking
Lovely clean hotel, the staff are all really friendly, the food is good with usually at least 2 main meal options. Limited choice of drinks around the pool is my only complaint.
Excellent all inclusive hotel on Kos. Hotel was extremely clean and staff was very attentive. Every day you would see them cleaning and taking care of the property. All facilities, pools and common areas were very clean...and it is a stark contrast to a lot of areas of Kos.Food is all local, it was simple but delicious. People complaining about food need to have their expectations checked. The food in the hotel is all locally sourced and you can see that every morning the produce from farms was getting delivered to the kitchen. Food choices were not extensive, but I could find something great to eat during every meal. There are two bars on the property for all inclusive guests. Pool bar works from 10am to 6pm, while main bar opens at 6pm and closes at 11pm. Drinks choices are plentiful and of good quality. Local beer is on tap and it was pretty good, similar to Mythos. Red and white wines are also on tap.Room was clean and simple, no real complaints. It was recently remodeled and it was clean.Tennis court needs help, net was hanging low and I had to use the rope to get to at least semi respectable level.Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Owners do a great job and they do their best to take care of you.
Wonderful people, smiling, kind and just full of life. Reception is super, dudes in bar are cool, kitchen was great, food was nice. Dimitra is great. Long story short, worth it
We stayed at hotel in the main season and we really enjoyed it. Everything was perfect! The whole staff was so friendly. Thank you so much for everything 😊 (Slovakia)
A really nice Hotel. The Staff is extremely friendly and good at their jobs. Its fairly clean, good food, good service. Nothing fancy but I didnt expect that. Overall I was happy and it was a plesent experiens.
Only stayed there for one night when flight was cancelled. But nice place bit out of the way but cannot really comment just a quick visit. But what I can say was clean. staff very good .and very relaxed atmosphere
First holiday after the pandemic. Really amazing staff there. Food is tasty but repetitive. Very clean and reasonable facilities.Went just out of season. I imagine it can be crowded if it was high season. Overall very good.
Everything weve asked for we definitly had. Location, clean, staff were all perfect. Especially Dimitra was so lovely. Definitly we will go back again
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ilios k village resort. The room was very comfortable, the pools are great and the location is just a ten minute walk from the main street in Tigaki. We really enjoyed the all inclusive meals; they offered a wide variety of dishes that were delicious. The octopus salad and gyros were two of our favorites! What we enjoyed most was the hospitality and service provided at the hotel. The staff is incredible; so helpful and welcoming. Dimitra herself went above and beyond to make recommendations for a beach bar (SantAnna beach barand put us in contact with the owner there who took great care of us. She helped us to celebrate a birthday in style and overall made the experience very special. We would highly recommend staying at Ilios and would happily go back there soon!
The hotel itself is okay, if you get a good room. The pools are nor that big, but okay. The food is almost the same every day, so I would recommend getting dinner or lunch nearby in a tavern. The service is great, there was a problem with our room and the lady at the reception got us a new one.
