Ilio's in Eindhoven

We went there as a group, we had very good time, very kind staff and nice greek food !

Delicious food, great service!

Last weekend we had a business dinner for 10 and it was superb! The host and staff were friendly, gave great suggestions. We surely had a wonderful evening and the most importantly, the Greek Meza was outstanding!

Excellent and friendly service, the food is really tasty and the location is the best, just 5 minutes from the central station! I really recommend this restaurant to everyone, we had a great experience there.

Amazing place! All the food was delicious, the people working here is really nice. Prices really good for the quality received. They offer a greek cocktail for free at the end. Overall experience: great!!

We tried tapas meze special menu and everything was perfect. Meze plate was all delicious, meat chicken and fish were soft, tasty. They offer ouzo at the beginning and a tasty drink I liked when we ask the bill. The staff was friendly and kind. I would recommend the place for an Aegean style tasty dinner!

The food is super good. We had a lovely time with my family, ate a lot and got to take the leftovers home :)

Amazing best Greek food I had outside Greece.

A piece of heaven on earth. The food is exceptional and a feast of tastes, the staff are amazing, the owner is such a friendly character, the deserts are a dance of joy, and the drinks are an adventure in the wonderland. Treat yourself to an experience like nothing you’ve seen. This place is my heaven!

The whole experience was dissappointing for me. First and most important the tapas special menü is way way overpriced. As a starter you get mainly smashed patoto, tzadziki, aubergine, feta cheese mix etc. For more details see the pictures in previous review. And as a main we received not tasty paprika filled with rice, two small chopsticks, two chicken shish and 2 kalamari which costs 73 Euros. For and additional 4 piece of supposed to be free bread and a bottle of water they charge 9 Euros. The test of main was ok but the service is extremely slow. They first made a wrong order which lead us waiting 40 min in total perhaps more. Also I dont get why such a restaurant has no baby chair.Houssaine (I guess the owneris a nice guy. He saw my frustration and offered two more chopsticks which is only reason I give 2 stars. For me was the worst dinner experience in Eindhoven. For such a money I could eat much more of a better quality. My recommendation is to reconsider the tapas prices or the content and/or price.

Second time we eat at this restaurant, and exactly as last time it supprising us how good it is for sure the food, but the hospitality of the personal crew is an amazing experience and really a must to go.Thank you llios🙏❤️#wecomeback

Best place to eat in town, Period !

We ordered a starter, a main course and some soda’s. Overall the experience was great, very friendly staff and fast service. We got free shots and a watermelon cocktail. The food was very tasty. My boyfriend ordered the mixed grill and he liked it. I ordered the filled bellpeper and that was also nice. The only remark I have is that there aren’t many vegetarian options (main course).

The tapas were amazing, and the portions were exactly right. Their home-made cocktail is also great! Definitively worth the trip

As a Greek I can reassure you that most of the dishes are legit😍. The meat dishes are very well cooked and the salads are great. But the best thing to order is the desserts. Just order kataifi😋

Overall a good place. A bit expensive compared to amount of food. And the service depends a lot on who you get as a waiter. We were lucky and had a very good one.

An overall excellent choice. We stumbled upon the restaurant our first night in Eindhoven and decided to go back the second night due to the amazing food and even better staff. The bar manager was extremely friendly and helped select a tapas platter for us the second night for my birthday. Desert was excellent as well with a greek cognac, along with the rest of the drinks. I cannot recommend this establishment enough.

We were there as two familiesKind staff, warm atmosphere, and delicious food. The staff there were really friendly and explain the menu very clearly. We had the Tapa’s Special, it was really yummy! The portions were enough for each person, the lamb and pork were well cooked, yet I found the chicken the most delicious!I would definitely be back again!

My favorite Greek restaurant in Eindhoven. The mezze platter containing a large variety of small Greek staples is definitely our favorite! The entire staff is kind and welcoming.

- Staff 10/10. Hossein is the best host. The rest is great too.- They always give a free small glass to start. They also offered guests a free great drink after dinner.Mixed grill: the flavor or quality of the meat could have been better.. Ive had better.I loved the rice that came with it! But I recommend you put that on the menu so people dont expect fries.During at least the busy hours I recommend neutral ambiance music, not something intense followed up with Adele..

Really nice restaurant and a wonderful owner. He gave us some extras tonight and was really kind. Waiting staf was excellent and the food was good. Overall a good experience 4/5 stars

Really warm place and quite elegant. The staff was nice even though a bit pressing because of the closing time. Plates where all abundant except mine ahahah, for 25€ I received 4 small pieces of meat. Dessert was worth it. They offered us a shot asa we entered, and a cocktail in the end, good treatment!

😍One of our favourite restaurants in Eindhoven. Last time, we had a blast Birthday celebration with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Also the service was really good although we had a large group of 12 ppl, which can be quite difficult haha. We’ll definitively be back again some time soon.

Delicious food, very good meat and big portions! They serve everything on a nice platter so you can share (if you want 😉).Very friendly staff whos all very happy to help you! Loved the atmosphere and definitely recommend this place if you love authentic greek food!

The food there is amazing. A real Mediterranean taste.

Went for a birthday meal and felt like we were on the greek islands! The interior is was just like being in a traditional greek villa and the food was phenomenal. The service was good and we felt very relaxed.

Went to Ilios after some issues with a flight, and had to book a last minute stay in Eindhoven for the night. Went to Ilios and the staff made it an extra special evening for us and we loved every minute of it! Food and drinks were amazing! Highly recommended.

Best Greek in town¡!!!!Food and meat is delicious!!!The manager even give me a wonderful placed outside to sit while they had lost of reservations.Also I got 2 sides free with our meat.Always busy and coming here for years. Just love it

Ilioss is an amazing greek fine dining experience where the friendly service goes beyond serving good food. They are ready to help you to make the best choice among the many options the menu provides including starters, meat and fish specialties, options for kids and vegetarian. And we were served with many smiles and nice conversations too. Add to that excellent wines (the dry white and the red house wines are good but the Merlot recommended afterwards was very impressiveand you are set for a dinner to remember. Be sure to ask for the special 40 year old Metaxa prepared at the table in a heated glass that is filled first with hot espresso, than emptied and than the Metaxa is added. Such a delicate soft taste you will appreciate to have tried it.

Absolutely amazing food. Had a great meal with friends. In the pic you see three portions of the Athens plate. Dont order one portion expecting this much food haha.Slightly expensive but worth every penny. Staff was friendly.

Good food for not too much money. You get large portions! Only thing I was missing were some baked potatoes that you normally get in other Greek restaurants. We had the Athene special and Pathos mixed grill. Also recommend the desserts platters.

As a Greek restaurant, you can find any traditional food here. We tried a special menu that contains almost everything with a smaller size. It is 30€ per person, and you can taste almost everything and really so good. The taste is really good. First they bring a few hot and cold starters, then the main dishes.My favorite is cheese with paprika and other cheese from the tapas (meze). As a main dish, i really like the lamb chops, it was perfect. Of course other dishes are also good.The restaurant is in the city center, in a famous location.Staff is very helpful and kind.

One of the best Greek restaurants in Eindhoven if not the best one. Delicious food, reasonable prices and most of all very friendly and caring hospitality. The lamb shanks are to to die for. Five stars.

We had a great and fun evening with colleagues at Ilios. Tasty and a lot food at a descent price! Very kind and friendly staff. They gave is some good suggestions on dishes and were happy to answer all our questions with a smile. Everyone in our team liked the meat. Nice ambiance too. Good location, right in the city centre of Eindhoven and close to the train station.

Me and my hubby just relocated recently to Eindhoven. It was our first day exploring the city center of Eindhoven and we decided to try this restaurant based on its ratings. Well, it was one of the most delicious experience for me till date. We ordered grilled peperroni with pesto as our starter and it was awesome! Perfect to go with a glass of red wine. For main course we ordered, Lamb shank from the oven cooked in greek style, it was delicious, I guess this was the best lamb shank I have ate till date in Europe. Soft, juicy and full of flavours. Adding icing to the cake, was the host of the restaurant. He was very friendly and jovial, suggest ing us what to try. He also offered a drink and tea to us on the house. Well, it was our special day that day, and we had a really special food to enjoy! I will be coming back again and again!

Food is legit and absolutely brilliant....ambience is very cosy, a bit loud sometimes. Also, its a usual sight for occasional birthday cheering at tables which adds fun and liveliness to the overall atmosphere.Its a perfect place for a hangout or get together amongst friends.On our first visit to Illios, in cold starters section, I loved bruschetta with tomato and basilicum, shrimp cocktail, puff pastry with stuffed feta topped with honey.In main course, my personal favourite was grilled chicken with stuffed feta cheese which comes with baked veggies, mashed /buttered potatoes and salad.Downside is that it takes long time to spot a waitress and there is a really long wait once we order our main course. Food is prepared fresh and I didnt regret the wait time.Overall a great place if you are a Greek food lover! Should visit at least once if you are in Eindhoven city centre.

Great Greek food. My favourite is the prosciutto wrapped melon - a perfect salty/sweet. We also had the grilled, stuffed squid. The portion sizes are quite big.

Excellent food. The drinkers complement the food. The service makes you feel at home. Very kindly with kids.

The seafood platter was glorious. The staff, Hossein especially, were attentive and informative. The dessert platter was also delightful.
