Clean store, good food options, nice staff, fair prices

Good selection! A bit more expensive, but its also a nicer grocery store. They have halal beef bacon in here that Ive only ever found at this grocery, and it is soooooo good.

My review was just deleted so I’ll write it again.This is the 2nd time I’ve been profiled when shopping here. The first time was when this store was named Ilyda.Today I went to purchase milk. A balding man, with a beard and a collard shirt stares at me with an aggressive, angry look as I’m walking on the sidewalk. I turn to go into the store and he swiftly follows me into the store and to the aisle I am in. Seeing as it’s clear as day that I am being profiled and stared at, I decided to not spend my money here and processed to exit the store.The first time came a year ago before this store change its name, where I was stared at by the women at the register and the butcher employee as I walked to the back to see what frozen products they have.Being as this is the 2nd time I’m being stared at and now followed starting from before this man even knew I was going to enter this store, it will be my last time ever shopping here.Staring at someone and following them into the store is not only a safety risk for customers, but a disgusting lack of respect and a highlight of your views. A store like this serves no purpose and has no place in such a diverse community. Overpriced, bad quality, and terrible customer service means I will happily never return.

Good quality of products are sold with good customer service. They have ample parking spaces available for their customers.

Excellent service and foods available

I ordered online 3 weeks ago, after waiting quite long, I was told the package is lost. Then, I was refunded and reordered smaller set of items, this time it seems the shipment box was filled carelessly, and we ended up with a mess, broken items and ripped packages.

Love this store! Many choices of Turkish, German and other foods plus American, lots of fruit and veg, meat and dairy. Snacks and quick beverages too

What an amazing experience I had!I shop at this store twice a week, place is always super clean and organized, cashiers are so kind and helpful, products are fresh and tasty.Today I wasn’t able to drive and I called the store and they were so helpful and kind, they delivered everything i asked them, communications was great even that English isn’t our first language for both of us. They deliver everything so quickly and professionally that it was a real pleasure.Thank you Grand Bazaar!Teşekkürler

The staff is always nice and kind. The Pistachio Baklava is the best around the area. I drive from Fort Lee to get it.

Great shop and probably has the best selection of produce in the area (Better in Edgewater thoughand it was a lifesaver when the pandemic first hit. Only con is that some of the food items, such as the meats, are pricey even though theyre not exactly quality for the price. But besides that, they have a very good selection of international foods/items and also offer home delivery.

Store is ok, little expensive but u gotta know ur prices on items n compare!

I constantly shop from here mostly for vegetables and Turkish products. They’ve wide selection on tomatoes. All of their products are fresh. Before COVID they used to have prepared hot food section too. Prices could be slightly cheaper but it’s alright.

This is a very nice and clean store that has pretty much everything that a super market would have. The staff are also very friendly and helpful as well. The quality or their products are also very good.

EXPENSIVE!! Came here to buy some chips which is $2.95 everywhere (Tostitos 13ozand they are selling it for +$4.50. Also just wanted to check other prices but yess they are expensive than other stores.

This store is crazy expensive for Turkish products. For example Merve yogurt 5.49z the same yogurt is in most vintage TURKISH stores 3.49. Same with all the dairy products. Even in Manhattan Turkish products are much cheaper! Ilayda gives the value extra %200 on the products!Super expensive store for Turkish products.

I bought a couple of chicken chops from ilayda market and came home. I was surprised that they gave me frozen chicken and prepared it really bad in shape(it wasn’t chops shapeand some of chicken parts were dark! its a shame on u, in these tough days you are serving really bad and really poor quality product! for sure we gave them back and got 2 bottle of kefir instead of chicken but there was another surprise they raised the all prices. It is uncertain and uneasy times as virus in going around us. You have to help or support the people, but not this way, giving bad product and rise the prices.

Been shopping here lately with everything thats going on right now. I thought that it was very nice of them to offer gloves to customers. They have a great selection of produce and I love the high quality meats they sell. I really appreciate the work that they are doing right now.

Good place to do small grocery shopping, near my house. However, it disturbed me to read about the owner not paying immigrant workers - really hope its not true. Kept me away a long time ... just saying.

Great food, great selections, very varied mostly Middle Eastern / Turkish food. Clean and spacy place unlike some others here. Friendly staff.

Good Turkish market that is priced right. Location is very good also right on Anderson ave. Parking is in the back. No problem at parking.

Awesome little grocery store with fresh produce, its own butcher shop and international snack foods. The decor is awesome and unique with wicker baskets along the ceiling that can be purchased both individually and as a gift basket containing products from the store.

Have been coming here since they opened for vegetables and fruit I would forget to buy at Stew Leonard’s. Never had an issue since I never really asked for help- today I inquired about something from a clerk and after some confusion I was told that they didn’t have it in stock. When asked for stores around that might have it I wasn’t told to “go around (roam the neighborhoodand look for it”. When I came up to an indifferent manager who stood by with no interest to help or get involved he suggested I use Google (thanks, pendejoand that he’s from Manhattan and doesn’t know much. After exchanging some “pleasantries” with this fellow Manhattanite he finally suggested a store in the area.If shouldn’t be this hard on a professional level and on a human level to get BASIC help.

Very clean. Love the place but they need to do something about front door. It opens by itself and during winter you freeze while paying....

I like the fact that they have a variety of Eastern European foods, stuff I used to get as a kid in Bulgaria, also prepared foods smell so good and make for a great healthy meal. The only beef I got with the place- its pricey! In fact its right next to my house and I usually go for convenience, I love having a place near by that I patronize and Im willing to pay a bit extra but in this case the prices are high enough for me to forgo this store for some place cheaper. Ive been there all of 3 times, twice i had no way of getting around so I needed a walking distance store. And once for a jar of Bulgarian Liutenitza( Лютеница)

nice local joint in Cliffside Park if you want to get groceries without your car. A little higher prices than some other places in town but you pay for convenience here. Nice selection, friendly staff!

I really like this grocery. Its so cozy. The food is fresh has nice quality and prices are dicent. The owner is super friendly and girls who work there are so polite and cute 😉 you should definitely stop by

Its unfortunate when you shop anywhere and you come upon a person who just should not be working at this establishment. I walk in try to ask a question and I am twice ignored. Then on my third attempt Im given the answer "I dont know" as if I just woke this person up from a long sleep. Rude obnoxious and simply she could not care less. Then I check out and a receipt is tossed on the counter and Im not looked at or thanked in anyway. Ive been in this overpriced market at least a dozen times. Its a very expensive convenience store. Nothing more and certainly less. I was polite and asked her if she was having a bad day. I was ignored again. I maintained a polite attitude and said good bye. I had to write this review which Ive never done before because every establishment of any kind must be responsible for whom they hire. I will never shop at this store again nor should YOU!!!

Great place to buy meat. They also have marinated chicken ready to bake. The service was great, i had special instruction to chop the meant and the staff were happy to do it

First time going in this place today since we just moved in this area. My boyfriend and I came in and I was immediately greeted by a friendly and polite Latino associate on the cookie display. He was a funny interesting fellow. Already started on a positive note. The produce are displayed neatly. There is an array of Turkish prepared dishes priced by the pound. I personally like the barley salad. Decent selection of olives. General grocery, with nice selection of imported drinks, and Turkish grocery. Copious amounts of sweets and candy. I would say that makes up about 30% of the store which is quite fun since my boyfriend has a big sweet tooth! I also love their promotions and discounts. This place is pretty neat and this definitely will be my weekly go-to grocery place :)
