Il Vesuvio Restauracja & Pizzeria in Łuków

Ive placed a delivery order at 9.20 PM and got a confirmation in the browser. At 9:50 PM I get a call that online orders are accepted until 9 PM. The website doesnt say anything about delivery hours and the lady acted like " oh next time you shall know that we take online orders until 9 PM". What a disappointment and loss of time.

It’s always nice to experience a genuinely neighborly feeling in the center of a big city. This cozy little pizza place, with its long history, good pizza and friendly staff, is a real gem for Kyiv.

Worth a visit. Pizza is a solid "A-", but the place itself is already history. One of the few to make it this far from the 90s

Its an old classic Kyiv place, one of the first Italian places in town (est 1992). It may not match your expectations when it comes to the high-end interiors, you may smell the food being cooked at the kitchen, but it does have soul and is somewhat cozy, and the pizza is very nice (take a thin dough, of course).

I came here looking for a deep dish pizza, I had seen online reviews saying they had it. While the pizza isnt deep dish, the crust actually had some substance. It is the closest to an American slice i have found in Kyiv.

Heard about this place long ago. Its truly famous, and for a reason.Very (!friendly waiters, cozy interior, and one of the tastiest pizzas in the city.The aesthetica are of 2000s Ukrainian pizza place, and thats another reason to visit it.Lovely!

Couldn’t order in Uber Eats. Application shows that they started to cook, but then they canceled order. I waited so long for food and nothing ...

Veteran on the pizza market in Ukraine. It might feel like it is not an Italian pizza but hey, they didnt change a bit since 1998, and they are still as good.

Both pizza and spagethi were good but I would bet it was not 350g as described in menu. Also they seem like dont want to “waste” much money in ingrediences on customer.

Big pizza for normal price, but be aware its not kind of thin kind of pizza. There is a lot of dough. I dont know why at some restaurants they put pepper on it, it really doesnt taste good...more ingredients, less dough

An absolutely wonderful place. I was first here in 1994. The interior hasnt changed, nor the atmosphere, and the food is very good. I come here every time that I visit Kiev (which is oftenand the quality of food and service is very good. Am very surprised to see negative reviews about the quality or the furniture - in the USA, places like these are priceless and are so well respected. Ukrainians need to respect their heritage. Vesuvio is part of that heritage.

I remember eating pizza in this spot more then 16 years ago when my Mom used to work in Polish Embassy nearby and i was student in Kyiv and now I live in Kyiv with my own Family and we had tasty and nice pizza today in the same place with (one of thebest pizza in town in my opinion with my 4 y. o. Daughter - she said it was to spicy for her but still perfect for me :and place hasnt changed at all - still little, cozy, nice place in the exact centre of Kyiv which hasnt lost its soul and heart. 💪👍👌

Cheap and tasty pizza but thats all. Awefull beer, scaring staff, 50x style appearance (in the bad way). Though, its main purpose is achieved, so... no complaints.

The first time I ordered from Vesuvio I was impressed and the food was tasty. I ordered tonight the same way using online ordering, I also called to check and my order came very late. Vesuvios is a decent pizza place but order very early.

One of the oldest pizza place not only in Kyiv, but Ukaine. The kitchen is superb but interiors lack renovation.

Good pizza and relatively fast service. There is weekly promotion for different pizza and one other item (20% discountso you can check the website. The staff reads English better than speaking so you can order online if you don’t speak Ukrainian. Pasta was also ok.

Worst Pizza ever had in Ukraine, and Ive eaten thousands over the world (including 5 years in ItalyDough seemed pre-made from frozen and definitely no wood oven. Guests next to us also said the same.So many places to get better pizza in Kiev.

was there in 2011 and again last month. The canadian connection rewards in a very good canadian pizza. Good price and quality in comparison to home. Every time I travel to Kiev I eat only Vesuvio pizza))

This is my favorite pizza in the entire country. It has a very real and authentic taste, unlike Dominos. Be sure to get a thick crust. They also do delivery, and they have an English website where you can order!
