Beautiful food, family run trattoria - well off the beaten track but an absolute must when in Bologna! Big portions and amazing food, Alessandro is a wine and cocktail connoisseur and he made us several digestivi. You must have a cocktail! Cant recommend this place enough!

I cant recommend this place enough. We came across this place apart of our honeymoon whilst travelling italy and we were blown away by the hospitality.Alessandro and his mother were absolutely fantastic with the service, food and educating how cocktails are created and perfected.This place is a hidden gem and a must visit! 5 star 🌟

If you are staying in the area then at least go here once. The food is top quality and the staff aims to please. In a party of three all of us had brilliant plates of food.

Its one of the few family run restaurants in Bologna. Excellent cuisine and service and the atmosphere you want to feel at home. Il risotto in un grande Parmigiano is a sight to remember.

Tappa non prevista, ma azzeccata, abbiamo provato i tortellini in brodo e le tagliatelle al ragù, veramente molto buone, accolti con simpatica gentilezza, buona qualità prezzo.

The food was AMAZING. I ate the rabbit, my wife are the lamb and the only thing we wanted was more!! The flavors were great, presentation was beautiful and the atmosphere was relaxing and calm. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys food and flavors!

Good food, pretty looking inside with old photos and posters on walls, big fire place friendly staff and calm atmosphere. Pasta dishes was cooked very well. Risotto served in big parmigiano cheese. Price was higher than average, but worth to visit and have good dinner.

Felt a bit overpriced for what we were given being in a large group, but the chef was pretty friendly and great at trying to accommodate for the whole table. The risotto was a little bland and the pasta was nothing special, but great appetisers. Would still go back and try something a bit more focused from the menu, and it was a great space for a bigger group - quiet enough to be able to chat.

Very cozy place. Ordered the risotto in Parmesan wheel with truffles. It was very good. Friendly and funny waitress.

One of the best trattoria of Bologna! We searched already a lot and saw/tasted a lot of medium quality, but Tartufo we have absolutly to recommend! The prices are a little bit higher than the average, but fair for the high quality. The service is really professionell and the taste fantastic!

Amazing authentic traditional restaurant!

It is a must to eat here when you are in Bologna. Great food, great service, great location and really very original dishes as risotto and tortellini cooked in parmesan cheese wheel. Great taste.I know rhis place since 1980s and still the same good service and great food. Perfect taste without exceptions. Do not forget to taste the Delicious deserts.

This restaurant is 1 of the reasons I went to Bologna. True story.This is not a tourist spot, another reason why I chose it. Sitting off a main road, youd have to be local to know about it.Homey welcome on arrival to this warm & rustic eatery. I had a typical Bolognese menu because if you havent had Bolognese ragu in Bologna, you havent had it.Started with Mortadella & parmiggiano because that is typical. Slurping on delightfully, delicious prosecco because thats the local water.No need to discuss pasta because Italians know what theyre doing & never over cook it. The delicate ribbons of tagliatelle were perfect to engulf the supreme ragu. Try it without the parmiggiano first then sprinkle a bit on...2 amazing flavours.To finish a sublime panna cotta.I stayed for a couple of hours because once you get in & experience this classic, homey environment you wont want to leave.So, why not 5 stars? Lack of air conditioning. Despite that, Ill return...in the Autumn season.

I have had fantastic food at this restaurant now a few times. The host always very friendly and remembered me after my second visit. The tortellini is my favorite, however my colleagues inform me the risotto is the best. Bologna is one of the cities where you can always get a great meal, however this restaurant has been amazing all of my visits.

Quando ci si trova a Bologna, mangia qui. Good pasta dishes, many based on trufflrs.

Friendly waiter, not to busy (still, it took forever until the food arrived), place for truffle fans.My wife is vegetarian so the tortellini werent declared, she assumed that the tortellinis are filled with parmiggiano or vegetables since meat wasnt mentioned. She returned the food and got an veggie alternative instead but they still charged us 18€ for the dish she didnt eat. Overall its a bit pricey and if you add truffle it will almost double the price. e.g. Carpaccio costs 15€ extra if you add some truffle, it doesnt really makes a difference if you order Carpaccio with or without truffle.

Wow, what can I say. This restaurant is something special. When we walked in it was empty and looked like an old family restaurant. We were hesitant but so happy we stayed. Unbelievable tomatoes,buratta and truffle! Truffles were in abundance and delicious. The tomatoes were so good we had another plate!Then for the tortellini in a parmesean wheel, what a delicious dish again a generous shaving of truffle. We also had a lovely steak and some incredible local wine.An amazing restaurant and amazing hosts and service. We dream about this meal!! Thank you!!
