Un ristorantino che ha dato davvero unottima impressione!... per gli ambienti particolari disposti su più piani, per gli eccellenti piatti proposti, per la cortesia del servizio giovane e svelto...e per la sua storia particolare, tutta da scoprire, magari facendosela raccontare come abbiam fatto Noi dai proprietari molto carini e disponibili!Cena ottima per una serata molto piacevole!

Extremely nice staff and the food was good

A bit pricey (2.5 eur coperto, pricier drinks).I had the pappardelle with oranges and shrimp (see phootand, even if there were only 2 shrimps in it and it cost 15eur, it was very flavorful and good.The Siculthai couscous was disappointing.The pasta a la Norma was good.

First I just wanted to say thank you to the owner. He help my partner and I get a taxi back after haven’t such a rough night navigating the environment. Alright now for the food, it was so good the wine was lovely, it was Perfect for the swordfish Pistachio pasta it was heavenly, I could have eaten that meal the entire trip. The service was excellent and very accommodating with our struggling trying to speak Italian but we made it work! This is the perfect date night spot. The eggplant dish was so light and delicious.

Food is made good but nothing outstanding. Don’t order prosecco they were out from the one we wanted and the offered another bottle. It was not good and cheap tasting. I got headaches while drinking it. Why would you have it on the menu…

The food was great and really delicious. Especially the dessert ricotta cake. They had lots of wines to chose from and they recommended a good one just by telling them what we usually like to drink. The waitresses and waiters were very friendly. Prices were okay and the restaurant was situated directly in the city center. It was not so obvious to find, but Google Maps helped. The atmosphere in the backyard was lovely and very „dolce vita“. Would definitely recommend!

Have to be fair: the food was good. BUT: around 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting is NOT ok.No hate at all btw to the two young (Indian?waiters. You did the best you can! Pretty sure there’s a problem in the kitchen as well as the owner(?the lady who’s just slowly walking around having wine with people slowing everything down.Food was nice but never(!again

Posto prettamente turistico, la quasi totalità dei prodotti presenti sul menù è surgelata (tra quelli segnalati e none prezzi sproporzionati alla qualità offerta.Prenotato con The Fork per due persone. Arriviamo e ci viene chiesto se preferivamo un tavolo dentro con laria condizionata o in terrazza: scegliamo la terrazza.Ci accomodiamo e aspettiamo qualche minuto di troppo che ci portino i menù. Una volta arrivati e scelto cosa prendere, aspettiamo altrettanti 20 minuti abbondanti nellattesa che uno dei ragazzi venga a prendere lordinazione, durata nella quale abbiamo detto più volte a chi passava che eravamo pronti ad ordinare e le pronte risposte erano "Sì vi mando la ragazza" "Un attimo arriva laltro ragazzo".Finalmente arriva il terzo ragazzo e ci consiglia dei piatti fuori menù, elencandoci velocemente gli ingredienti, per cui scegliamo (cito testualmente): Trancio di tonno panato agli agrumi con salsa alle pere caramellate su letto di crema di patate aromatizzate al basilico e menta; e spaghettoni ai tre tonni: bottarga di tonno, tartare di tonno e tonno scottato; oltre che un antipasto caldo e due calici di vino.Aspettiamo un altro bel po lantipasto caldo, composto da patate circolari fritte, panelle e verdure pastellate: buono e abbondante.Attendiamo ben altri 15/20 minuti per la portata principale, tantè che abbiamo chiesto più volte a che punto fossero: mai ricevuto risposta.Finalmente arrivano le pietanze, che dallaspetto sembravano invitanti...al che comincio a sentire un persistente odore di cannella, stranita perché a quanto detto dal ragazzo non avrebbe dovuto esserci nel piatto.Comincio a mangiare ma a metà piatto devo fermarmi perché il sapore della cannella sovrastava tutto e sembrava di mangiarla a cucchiaiate. Peccato, perché senza questa imperfezione sarebbe stato buono: il tonno era tenero e si scioglieva in bocca e la crema di patate saporita al punto giusto.Gli spaghettoni ai tre tonni non erano un granché a detta dellaltra persona: una pasta aglio e olio con sentore di tonno.Fermo restando che a livello personale la cannella non piace, se avessi saputo che era presente nel piatto NON LAVREI MAI ORDINATO.Infatti, chiediamo spiegazioni e ci viene detto che la salsa di pere caramellate (preconfezionatacontiene cannella.Con tanto di scuse per non averci informato correttamente, come è giusto che sia, ordiamo il dolce, per toglierci lamaro di bocca (figurativamente): un cannolo scomposto e un cremoso al cioccolato di Modica, panna e muesli.Il cannolo scomposto poteva andare anche bene, tranne per il fatto che la ricotta era sproporzionata rispetto al cannolo frammentato, e in un certo qual senso "sdegnava" dopo un po. Oltretutto il ragazzo mi ha chiesto se volessi un topping sul dolce: non lavessi mai fatto, il topping al pistacchio era tutto fuorché pistacchio. Probabilmente di quelli industriali, si trattava di una glassa alla mandorla colorata di verde.Il cremoso al cioccolato discreto, se non per la panna spray nella bomboletta.A fine cena, con la delusione stampata in volto, ci rechiamo alla cassa, dove lo sconto The Fork viene applicato correttamente, ma sul famigerato tonno con cannella mi sarei aspettata quanto meno uno sconto alla base (se non addirittura offrirlo), ma il titolare alla cassa non ne sapeva assolutamente nulla.In sintesi: qualità del servizio scarsa e altrettanta del cibo, poca comunicazione tra i ragazzi (da puntualizzare che non li ho mai menzionati come "camerieri", perché quello è ben altro mestiere), prezzi sproporzionati alla qualità.Anche se beneficiate dello sconto The Fork, lo sconsiglio altamente. Meglio utilizzarlo altrove.

I have write my first review to honor this restaurant.A few of us went for a dinner there. I go to the point straight:I managed to try my friends first course from the menu, different pastas, sea food or just cheese options. To be honest, those were the most tasteless pasta i have had ever on the island.The pork meat options were not great either, salty, definitely not fresh cooked from the kitchen.Some of us ordered some starters as the girl recommended OUTSIDE OF MENU, OUTSIDE OF MENU. I guess it was not bad, until we went to pay 22 euro for the 5 little red shrimps. The owner or the waitress explained to our shock: it was fresh.You also pay the 2.5 euro service fee.So "tourist trap" came to my mind afterwards.

Absolutely loved it. The food is kind of nouveau cuisine with all the typical palermitan flavors and its so great in so many ways - the place itself (location and the peculiar rooms of the restaurant), the tasty food and the super caring staff. Will definitely come back

Ho mangiato oggi in questo posto molto carino. Il proprietario, penso sia stato lui, alla cassa, molto gentile ci ha accolto con un grande sorriso. Anche il cameriere, molto cortese e preparato. Tutto ciò a contorno di pietanze preparate in maniera sublime, che sfilavano davanti a me lasciandosi dietro profumo che ancora riesco a percepire! In particolare i primi ... una leccornia ... provare per credere ...

I wish that I lived in Palermo so I could come here more often. The caponata was amazing, and the tuna with pistachio and yogurt sauce was even more delicious. The service was also very good. I will be back next time I visit Sicily.

Ristorantino appartato dal traffico, in una vietta laterale rispetto alla frequentata via Roma.Il localino è distribuito in lunghezza per varie salette, di cui alcune che affacciano sulla stradina e dipinto con colori contrastanti sulle tonalità calde. Ad impreziosire le pareti vi sono quadri tendenzialmente cubisti e trovo azzeccata anche la scelta di includere una varietà di libri in vista. Laccoglienza è stata calorosa e professionale e il servizio pressoché immediato, nonostante la policy dei proprietari sia di servire piatti "espressi" e non precotti.Personalmente abbiamo optato per il Pipino Rosso perché avevamo intenzione di provare il cous cous di pesce tanto decantato dagli altri clienti. Posso affermare che lesperienza è stata di gran lunga migliore di quanto ci aspettassimo. Piatto ben elaborato e impiattato, con profumi agrumati e speziati, con una piacevole morbida consistenza e cottura dei pesci perfetta. Latte di cocco appena percepibile e una equilibrata miscela di spezie hanno reso il tutto davvero allaltezza delle recensioni positive.Dolci sia tradizionali che rivisitati, molto buoni. Scelta dei vini attenta.Il conto alleggerito dalla promozione di The Fork ha ulteriormente contribuito alla piacevole sorpresa.Consiglio di passarci più volte per degustare le varie pietanze proposte.

Davvero un ottima cena di cucina locale!Abbiamo prenotato e provato questo ristorante e siamo rimasti davvero colpiti.Dallingresso non sembra ma si articola in più livelli e diverse stanze, molto bello.Personale gentile, preciso e rapido, menù abbastanza tradizionale ed una cucina che abbiamo apprezzato parecchio, dallantipasto ai primi per finire con ottimi dolci.Straconsigliata la pasta canciova, strepitosa, ma anche quella con spada e pistacchio non scherza mica!!Speriamo di poterci tornare senzaltro.

Cena tipica siciliana: antipasto di panelle e sfincioncini, un primo con pasta canciova e spaghettoni con pesce spada, limone e pistacchi e per concludere sua maestà, un ottimo cannolo siciliano. Inutile dirlo: tutto era davvero buono e piacevolmente accompagnato da un buon vino siciliano. La location, che da fuori sembra essere piccola, è in realtà piuttosto ampia e divisa in diversi ambienti, oltre che ben arredata. I tavoli, ben distanziati tra loro, rendono comunque molto intimo. Lunica pecca è che avrei gradito un po di illuminazione. Il servizio dovrebbe secondo me essere un po più preciso e attento, ma i sapori della tradizione ci sono tutti e ne vale senzaltro la pena!

Beh, cè poco da dire. Ottima qualità dei piatti. Ricordo ancora il sapore dei gamberi in tempura e del risotto. Personale molto gentile e preparato nellesposizione del menù e delle singole pietanze.A questo giro lunica nota dolente è stato il dolce, ovviamente parlo per gusto personale.Il locale è molto accogliente ed ho molto apprezzato lo stile decorativo.

The place is nice, the food is good and the service was also good, until the bill. We went with “the fork” and we were supposed to have a 50% discount on food and we paid 64€. (It would have been 104€ without the discount)We spent 22€ on a bottle of wine (that’s absolutely fineand than we had a starter, two plates of pasta and 1 desert to share. I was going for two starters but then the guy told me that the portion for the starter I chose was big, and one was enough for two people. It was actually big, even too big but it was good. When we went for the bill the plate was counted as two. We chose the pasta from the selection of the day so it wasn’t on the menu, but then the price was way over the price of the other plates of pasta in the menu.I’m not saying we spent too much but considering they put almost 40€ discount for the fork (104€ in total)… yes it was a bit too much for an Italian price (I’m Italian). Then … maybe they heard us speaking another language and they thought to charge more to “compensate” for the discount … or maybe it was a misunderstanding. Anyway the food was really good. The two plates of pasta were delicious …so if you go… stick to the plates on the menu, or ask for the price before ordering the plate of the day.

Awful experience! We waited more than 2 hours to get out main meal. At the end we we were so tired and sleepy that we took our food on a doggy bag. Very sad evening as it was a family reunion after 3 years of not seeing my parents. We mentioned to the owner which blamed miscommunication between waiters and kitchen

Tourist joint for overpriced standard fare.

We had delicious tonnarelli pipino and orata in Costa di patate. If I was hungry enough I would have asked for more ! Staff is very nice and the terrace outside in summer is perfect!

Terrible food but a nice terrace

Service was quiet fast and everyone was nice. We ordered pasta (for 10 and 15€but we couldnt finish because it had a very strange taste. We had to leave most of our food there and find an other place to have lunch and forget this terrible tast and feeling. Also the display on the street and in-restaurant-menu was different. (Price of service: 2€/person).

Just incredible pasta which they made especially for us to takeaway.we even got complimentry drinks as we waited. The best service in Palermo! Its a Shame they werent busier

Found this by mistake and was truly delighted. Our waitress was very sweet and suggested the panelle and the zuppa di pesce. Fresh, delicious and we would happily go back next time in Palermo.

Staff was nice and food was great. Really incredible prices for the wines and decent prices for the meal. The staff was one of the best Ive seen. The group sitting next to us what being rude and insulting both the waiters but the situation was dealt with professionally and well. Great family style restaurant

We were staying "around the corner" in the Palazzo Vaticcani, making for a pleasant stay with dinner and a good local wine that was managed excellent. The service and the perfect approach, language barriers (Italian, Englishno. And I believe that even if they were, the staff made it their helpfulness compare.For us (me and my wifefive stars mathematically expressed "the other".

Many cozy levels here. Prices very decent compare to Vtto. immanuelle street 50 meters away. And the quality is much better. The atmosphere is really there as well. Small place but not really considering the number of levels and small number of tables for each.
