Locale piccolino ma accogliente e ben organizzato, gentile il personale di sala. Ci siamo stati per il compleanno di mia moglie e siamo stati tutti molto soddisfatti, come antipasto abbiamo preso le "demi baguette con alici .. " e una tartare di tonno, primo dei taglioni fatti in casa al profumo di mare, poi grigliata di pesce e il trancio di rombo. Porzioni abbondanti e rapporto qualità prezzo giusto. Sicuramente unesperienza da ripetere.

SERVIZIO TROPPO LENTO!20 minuti di attesa per due antipasti (buoni), 40 minuti di attesa per due tagliate di tonno (buona la materia prima, non un gran che l’accoppiamento coi peperoni dal gusto troppo marcato per il tonno).I tempi biblici non giustificati dall’affluenza (incluso il nostro, 3 tavoli per un totale di 8 persone). Mai più. Due stelle solo perché comunque il cibo non era male.

Uno dei migliori ristoranti in cui io sia mai stata. Tutto ruota intorno a Livia la proprietaria che con passione e competenza gestisce il ristorante curando tutto nei minimi dettagli: Il pesce è freschissimo e viene acquistato personalmente da lei, i piatti saporiti e ricercati e il personale disponibile e gentile. Tornerò sicuramente.

Super delicious seafood with great service! We ordered the crispy octopus as the starter and it was one of the best weve tried! Also the stuffed squid with feta, simply a delice!Will be back! :)

locale molto elegante, menù a base di pesce che ho trovato squisito, unica pecca tempi di attesa delle portate un po lunghi e servizio seppur molto gentile un po pasticciato per quanto riguarda le richieste non esaudite in tempi brevi.

Charming little restaurant in center of Bologna. Friendly service and tasty food. Maybe bit more pricey then restaurants around. But worth every cent! For me the best experience in Bologna.

Inaspettato ristorante di pesce in centro Bologna. Prezzi adeguati, buona qualità, menù non varissimo, buon numero di primi, meno secondi. Merita una visita, se non mirate alla tipica cucina Bolognese.

Nu inseamna ca este la fel pentru toata lumea.Grăbiți de o foame crunta și văzând recenziile destul de bune, ne-am oprit la Il cantuccio. Stafful este ok, nimic de reproșat lor. Mâncarea, în schimb, dezamăgitoare și prea scumpa pentru cât oferă.Ni s-au adus niște "aperitive" la început. Nimic spectaculos, o salata ofilita și jumătate de sardina. NU LE-AM CERUT, dar costau 6€ fiecare.Felul principal nu a fost conform asteptarilor, nimic spectaculos.. meh..Dar după ceva timp amândurora ni s-a făcut rău, voma și balonare.Repet, aceasta este doar experienta noastră, nu trebuie sa fie la fel pentru toată lumea.Experienta ne-a costat o seara de stări de voma și rau, și 50euro.

Best meal had across a week in Rome, Florence and Bologna. Lobster pasta, scallops and snapper dishes were all superb. The chocolate parfait dessert was excellent too. Some dishes take time to prepare so dont expect to dine in a hurry.

Prima volta che vengo in questo ristorante, l’impatto è positivo, il personale molto gentile, mini pecca i tavoli un pochino troppo vicino, ma capisco benissimo che passate le chiusure e restrizioni del Covid, si cerchi di lavorare il più possibile. Passiamo alle portate e alla qualità: devo dire che si avverte proprio che il pesce è freschissimo e che viene fatto al momento. Si avverte anche che il cuoco è un vero schef, perché le portate richieste, erano tutte impeccabili e cotte alla perfezione. Ottimo il bilanciamento dei sapori. Quando riesci a trovare un locale che serve pesce freschissimo e cotto alla perfezione con un ottimo bilanciamento del gusto, esci proprio soddisfatto.La cena è poi finita con un dolce spettacolare.Da ritornare sicuramente.

Nice place for sea food. The food was good. The service was a bit slow but the staff is friendly.

We had dinner here two nights in a row. We stumbled upon this, my wife was unhappy about another restaurant that could not accommodate us. She wanted something beyond the Bolognese/pasta/ ragu and pizza offerings elsewhere..My wife is an excellent cook, she wants food she could not cook herself or is new to her. Understand that we have travelled extensively all over the world. My wife was happy. If they can make her happy it is good.It is expensive, but worth the cost. Nice people, lovely atmosphere, and terrific seafood. We are leaving Bologna in the morning, otherwise would be back!

Locale molto carino, menù interessante, ottimo antipasto e buono tutto. Buona scelta di vini. Il cuoco, giovane argentino, molto disponibile e simpatico.

IMBARAZZANTE2 ore e 20 per 2 portate:-Spaghettoni con vongole e bottarga (18€)Piatto composto da 5 vongole, 1 chiusa, 1 frantumata nel piatto. 40g di Pasta asciutta.-Gamberoni alla piastra (23€3 Gamberi piccoli, un carciofo mezzo bollito NON COMMESTIBILE. In pratica era stato cotto intero senza essere capato. Con spine e pelame… Chiedo al cameriere se è lì per errore o solo ornamentale, la risposta è stata: “UN PO’ ORNAMENTALE MA ANCHE UN PO’PER ESSERE MANGIATO” faccio notare che è una risposta insensata, il carciofo non è capato, ci sono le spine, è impossibile tenerlo in bocca. Mi ha detto: “provare a scavare dentro…” Non è uno scherzo! Sento che lo urla alla cassa e dice: “Si gliel’ho detto…”Torna al tavolo e chiede se gradisco al posto del carciofo un insalatina o un contorno, ma i gamberetti li avevo gia mangiati ed erano le 22:10 e mi ero seduto alle 20:30.Seccato mi alzo vado a pagare.La donna in cassa, in silenzio tombale, non mi ha guardato MAI IN FACCIA, forse era imbarazzata. Batte tutte le pietanze, carciofo ornamentale compreso. Senza chiedere come fosse andata, senza scusarsi, senza nemmeno proporre uno sconto, offrire un amaro, che ne so. Solo un silenzio imbarazzante. Al che non resisto ed esclamo: “Non ci chiede se è andato tutto bene?” Mi risponde: “Ehm no, ho sentito prima del carciofo, però se vuoi DIMMI”Cara signora, come promesso, le lascio la mia recensione. In primis riveda il concetto di rispetto e dignità, non le farà male. Dopodiché, in secundis, semmai, posso spiegarle come si capa un carciofo, le regole basilari dell’impiattamento, non si servono oggetti ornamentali non commestibili e non parlo del carciofo cucinato male, ma anche dei fiorellini da campo (NON COMMESTIBILInel piatto si mettono SOLO COSE CHE POSSONO ESSERE MANGIATE e semmai cucinate bene. Oltre che senza talento, siete carenti di buon gusto e buon senso.Buona fortuna. Ve ne serve tanta per continuare a stare aperti.

Outstanding

Food is good but the service is terrible. One person that was cilliac, which was me tioned to the older waiter several times. He brought an apetiser to her on a base of bread. And regular pasta after. We noticed. We ordered a whote wine and we got prosecco. No ex0lanation just brought the opened bottle. Annoying older waiter very unpolite. Young man was good. It took 3 hours to finish with apetisers and pasta (one diah only)

Stopped her for dinner and it arrived to be an excellent choice. Appetizers, mains, desserts, and drinks were great. Cant say enough complements about the staff. They split items we wanted to share into two plates to save us the effort. Indoor and outdoor seating. Perfecto. When youre in Bologna you need to eat here.

4.5 really. Food quality was excellent, and service was good. One thing could be improved is to read back the order to the customer to avoid mistakes/misunderstanding.We had- tuna tartare(which we actually ordered carpaccio, and we only realized it was wrong after we ate some already and didn’t say anything since it was yummy anyhow,- grilled octopus,- sword fish ravioli ,- mixed/grilled vegetables.Everything was fresh and tasty. The portions were good too.Recommend

Chi dice che il pesce si mangia bene solo al mare? Io no di sicuro, ovvero, quando capiti in posti raffinati come il Cantuccio, in pieno centro a Bologna, capisci che qui il rapporto con la cucina di mare è speciale; pochi piatti, segno di freschezza dei prodotti, materie prime ricercate, servizio impeccabile e cortese, pesce fresco per una cucina gourmet, ma con porzioni buone. Chi ha voglia di una cenetta intima e allinsegna del buon gusto e del sicuro, qui non si sbaglia assolutamente.

In questo piccolo angolo tutto è elegante e curatissimo. A partire dalle ricette, con abbinamenti originali e gustosissimi, con bellissime presentazioni, alla scelta dei vini e alla tavola. Grande attenzione al cliente senza essere invadenti.

Its the best seafood restaurant Ive been to! Every single dish: appetizers, primo, secondi, dolce was amazing! The menu is updated every couple of weeks and it is definitely worth checking out from time to time if you are staying in Bologna for longer. The staff is extremely helpful and is ready to explain and translate every dish, recommend wine and food. Very welcoming atmosphere and perfect for a quite celebration or just a bit fancier dinner. To sum up, it should be on everyones "must visit" list when they come to Bologna or live there.

Fantastic restaurant ambiance with amazing gourmet food and very kind staff, we had a really great evening. The prices may seem a bit expensive, but the quality is really worth it

Best seafood restaurant I have been to in Bologna. The food is really good and these guys know how to make dishes with unique combinations. Feels like an expensive restaurant. The staff is so kind and helpful. This has got to be a defo visit for anyone visiting Bologna.

Exceptional Seafood, and *very* nice staff.So yeah, youre in Bologna, and youre really *really* in the mood for Seafood - *this* is probably where you should end up. The ingredients are impeccably sourced (albeit from a little bit of a distance), and prepared just as carefully - and yes, the chef is clearly a bit of a genius at this!Add in a welcoming and friendly staff, a great wine list, and a location right in Il Centro, and, well, you couldnt ask for much more.*We* plan on coming here repeatedly 😇

Ottimo pesce. Materie prime eccellenti trattate con rispetto. Una delle migliori proposte di mare a Bologna. Prezzo molto ragionevole considerando qualità e posizione.Il nuovo Cantuccio non è uguale alla vecchia gestione ma ha in comune la ricerca della freschezza ed il rispetto reverenziale per il prodotto. Ero affezionato alla vecchia gestione ma mi tocca ammettere che questa è addirittura meglio.La signora Livia come tutto il personale hanno quel sorriso e quella attenzione che non sempre è scontata in Italia.Insomma, che abbiate voglia di pesce eccellente oppure che dobbiate semplicemente impressionare partner o clienti con una serata principesca, questo posto colpirà lobiettivo lasciando ricordi unici ad occhi e palato.

We had a lovely experience at "Il Cantuccio". This cute, sea-inspired restaurant offers amazing seafood dishes, wonderfully prepared & presented. At arrival, the staff welcomed us with a starter that was kindly offered by the restaurant. We then ordered several starters, mains and desserts: all were stunning! I absolutely recommend visiting this restaurant when in Bologna: I promise, you will not be disappointed!

I really recommend il Cantuccio...specially you have to try il Menu di Degustaccioni...Great selection of sea food. I have visited this place in three different occasions..

Extremelly rude staff, I called to enquire about their set price menu and spoke to a rude member of staff, who was very unhelpfull and put the phone down on me on several occasions even though I was very polite, Im glad this happened before I recommended the restaurant to one of our clients
