This was the best meal we had in Rome. Arrive after 6.30 for the dinner menu. Each dish was simple but really well executed. A mix of classic dishes done with flair and a few twists. So good,.Cant recommend highly enough!

We had a great experience at Vida. The food is super nice, very tasteful and creative.The wine list is also great and fairly priced.Staff is super nice and take good care of all customers.

The staff were well-informed on gluten free options and the carbonara with gluten free pasta was to die for. The eggplant parmesan was delicate and brought the right balance of acid and salt. The care for the customer experience paired with the well balanced flavors makes this a surprising treat just steps away from tourism central.As our band of tourist explorers made our way to Castel Santo’Angelo, we needed a place for a cool drink and a fulfilling snack. We found Vida right at opening time and were pleased to hear they had gluten free options.

Ate here for cena a couple of nights before flying back to the US. The aglio nero e oglio pasta was delicious and fun, especially because it is served in a smoke filled clear cap of whiskey barrel smoke. Interestingly the pasta itself wasn’t very smokey, which I was happy about. Delicious dinner overall and even had some fresh squeezed orange juice which was super delicious. The service was great. I feel like the few people who have this place less than 5 stars didn’t communicate with the staff properly. They seem like they are really happy to serve customers and are very accommodating. I liked this restaurant a lot.

Wonderful little restaurant in Rome. Everything we tried was delicious, especially the octopus. If you are in the area go ahead and try them, you won’t be disappointed!

Really good foods. You should try bao burger. Best burger I have ever had. Staffs are so nice and warm. Fair prices. Really good location. Highly recommended.

Entered to escape the heat. Lunch deals looked great - it was too hot for me to try more than one dish though...The server / barista improvised a really nice iced coffee for me.

Best dinner in the vicinity...Carbonara is their signature dish and best i have ever had so far.

Overall very good restaurant and nice wine list. Creative Italian dishes with an elegant twist if that’s what you’re into…. Not really my thing but the food and service were very good. Vegetarians should note that you should ask meat or fish content of each plate as I ordered a pasta dish and it was garnished with salmon which made me gag, other than that all was perfect.

Portions were quite small (almost child-sized& room temperature sparkling water (without any bubbles).

Amazing little restaurant with super friendly and attentive staff and fantastic food. The choc lava cake was amongst the best we’ve ever had, and the wine was superb. Would definitely visit again!

We were walking back to our hotel and talked with a very nice lady at the front of the restaurant. She was so nice we decided we would go back at lunch time to grab a bit to eat! The caesar salad was delicious (comes with chicken on it), the chicken with grapefruit and sage dress was nice. Lastly, we had meatballs in a pumpkin sauce. Way out of the norm for us, but we are really glad we tried it! Stop by and support this restaurant!

If you’re in the Visconti area, this place is a must try. First meal in Rome and it was above and beyond what I expected. Carbonara, Sirloin on a hot stone and the pulled pork starter. This is somewhere we will be coming back to! Thank you guys for a great experience and high quality meal.

Were given the most succulent and flavoursome pieces of fillet steak with a wonderful truffle sauce. Bean and sage side dish was also delightful. Had the dark chocolate with rum and hazelnut dessert which was a great finish. Highly recommend this to anyone craving a steak after pizza and pasta!

Food is ok, service - so not ok. The waiter has a certain body odeur, also is not quite good at completing orders. We asked for steak (we have ordered it before and we know what it looks likeand what he brought was sort of the same, but like a fat chunk of chewy meat. First we thought maybe it was just a different piece of meat, then he brought the bill - he had chosen a way more expensive dish to bring to us. Even though we ordered steak. If youre not into restaurant that screw you over, I wouldnt recommend it to you.

Pathetic thieves. They lie with the orders. You choose something for 18 euro, they give you the same with a little (really little sousefor 28 euro. Also, the last evening I had the 18 euro thing and the waiter said "the same, yes"; "yes" I confirmed and he brought me the 28 euro thing.

I didnt understand that Il Belli is just serving meat (excluding some pasta dishes). I seldom eat meat so this was not my place. The waiter was not very helpful to tell about the different courses on the menu. As first course I got a big pile of raw meat. Maybe some meat lover would have liked it. I couldnt eat it. My pasta with truffels and cheese didnt have any truffels or taste of truffels, just a lot of cheese. Did not like that either. Also our bill was wrong, but it happens. The waiter guy corrected it right away politely. The decoration and atmosphere of Il Belli were nice. My male companions liked their beef main courses a lot.

Very friendly, attentive service. We had two different pasta first courses, both delicious and cooked perfectly. For second course we shared the Chateaubriand which arrived thinly sliced and still sizzling on an iron tray. When I asked for it to be cooked longer, as it was merely seared with a very rare center, she politely informed me the plate could cook each slice however we desired. It made for an interesting culinary experience, as we each got to have it cooked to our individual preferences. It was also delicious. The restaurant is a small quiet place which opens at 7:30, sort of. We arrived just before 8 and were the first guests. We weren’t sure it was open yet but decided to stay. By the end of the evening we were very glad we did.

It was extremely overpriced for the food it served which was good, but nothing too special. Not a really warm atmosphere, even though the staff is friendly. Not a place Id visit again as a tourist.

Very good restaurant, great selection of steaks, I little limited if you are a vegetarian, but there is pasta and some other choices. The food is first class and a good selection of nice wines. If you like steak this is a very good choice!

Great steak! If youre in the mood for meat this is a good choice. They have a pretty comprehensive menu and good choices of meat.

Came here for lunch. Service was a bit lacking. They apparently have two sets of menu. We were given a menu while the local was given a sheet. The food was a bit lacking. Texture and flavor was off. Was recommended by the hotel staff.

This place was a wonderful surprise after stumbling upon it and deciding to try it out for a late dinner. The beef carpaccio "il belli" with olive oil, salt and pepper was very fresh and was delicious with the quality olive oil drizzled on top. The eggplant flan was one of my favorite dishes, with a beautiful tomato (?flan covered by well-cooked eggplant and accompanied by ricotta and crackers. Great contrast of soft with the crunchy crackers. The pastas were also amazing, done just to al dente and perfectly seasoned. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well! We arrived at 21:00 on a Wednesday but it didnt get busy until around 21:30. Overall a great meal and experience!

Are you a meat lover? Do you must come here. Steak was excellent, juicy, served exactly as we have asked. I was told a portion is for two, while I was able to make it myself -So delicious.

Deliscious & charming steakhouse. The best meal we ate in Rome. The perfectly cooked med rare steak was accompanied by a truffle fondue. It came to the table on its own skillet so we could cook each piece to personal preference. The carpaccio and tartare were also fabulous. A meat lovers dream! Throw in an epic smoked eggplant ragout and a vegetable flan and you have a fantastic 4 course meal.. and then there was dessert! Generous selection if 5 differnt tastes, a semifredo 2 puddings and 2 cookies. Overall superb!

Just lovely. 8 of us. Not expensive. Friendly staff. Birthday meal for one of the party. They arranged a cake, grandmothers cake. Liked by all, creme pat and pine nuts. Recommend any starter with mozzarella, not like on UK. Pork shank divine. Set menu very good. Extensive wine menu, we had the cheaper ones, still very nice. Only thing to watch is ordering coffee, be explicit or you get an expresso. Free chocolate aperitif, lovely.

Really good restaurant! Good menu for 2! With starter,main dish(you cook your meat on a metall plateand 5 diffirent deserts to choose from!Plus a liquor shot.If you like meat this is a place to visit, definitely not a tourist trap!And a good price!
