All have balconies or terraces; some add sea views. Upgraded suites feature garden areas, sofabeds and/or private pools. Room service is offered 24/7.Loaner bikes and use of beach gear are included, as is car rental for 1 day. There are 8 restaurants, plus beach and poolside bars. We have just arrived back home from a lovely vacation at the Ikos Aria in Kos.Our grandchildren and the rest of the family was overwhelmed with the staffs way of helping us in all our needs. The location, restaurants, rooms and activities was just in every way very satisfying. To be honest… we are a demanding family - so this experience was really fantastic.Never tried an “All inclusive” hotel before, but to be honest… we will absolutely do it again. All ready looking at the possibility to visit another Ikos Resorts!
Fantastic..weve just got back from Ikos Aria and had the most amazing time the Hotel is a different level to anywhere else, The staff are so attentive and see to your every need. With so many restaurants and bar areas theres no need to go out. Will definitely would come back, and a big thank you to Mike and Lorenzo from the beach bar for looking after us.
Id give more stars if it was possible. The food and service is second to none
We stayed for 9 days, thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was first class, staff extremely helpful. As an all-inclusive hotel, the food options are very good. Restaurants are themed and provide enough variety of cuisine to avoid the usual boredom of eating from the same menu repeatedly. The only complaint we had was some late night maintenance work that was inexplicably carried out in our corridor at 10pm when our kids were asleep. One thing to note about the beach area is that the sand is quite stoney and the seabed is rocky in places but it is flat and shallow so good for kids so long as they have some reef shoes.
What a great place for vacation. All inclusive on the highest level that you can get.
The perfect place for family vacations...the staff very friendly, place awesome and the food extraordinary....we will visit again...
Too Good But True!!We had an excellent family holiday at Ikos Aria. The location is idyllic, with stunning natural scenery mixed with some historic archaeological ruins. The hotel offers spacious and stylish, well-appointed rooms. The gardens are extensive, beautiful, and kept immaculately. The food is generally superb, lots of different restaurants to choose from, most to a very high standard. We did experience some below-standard meals and service but this was only on a few occasions. The selection of wines is excellent and it’s a great way to try new wines without feeling pressured to accept the first one offered. The kids club is second to none and our daughter was very happy there.Overall, we felt privileged to be able to spend such a lovely holiday in such a luxurious resort. The staff, in general, are excellent, however, we’d like to mention those who really stood out to us:Margaret – Part of the management team who helped us with everything and anything.Georgia and Giannis at Ouzo Restaurant – we couldn’t have been looked after any better anywhere, spectacular service.Paris & Anastasia - Part of the Deluxe Pool Team – always looking after us. Paris in particular went beyond and even created a few personalised cocktails for us.Elena – Manager of Seasons Restaurant. Very kind and made us all feel extremely welcome. Thanks to you all. Wishing you a great winter and we look forward to returning!
Luxury in its disappointing expression. An outrageous over consumption of water in their lush gardens. Far from a necessary waterwise approach. Guests are expecting an excellent level of service, not an English green lawn in the middle of summer. Education rather clichés, please!
The perfect and super relaxing stay for you and your whole family.Well trained, attentive and very friendly staff. Quick responses from your personal concierge 24h.The site is wonderfully maintained, Spa, Fitness and the pool areas are clean and there is always someone friendly to help you in case you need something. There is simply nothing to worry about, you can enjoy the stay to the fullest.I strongly recommend to book the deluxe package for an even better experience and you should book the restaurants (they are all goodin advance of your holidays
Gorgeous resort with impeccable staff and service but in the rooms its a bit too much style over substance. We had a 1 bed garden suite with sea view. My issue was that in spite of adequate space, there were NO comfortable chairs in the room to curl up in to read a book or watch a bot of TV, given the prime ministerial hustings were on. Instead there were rattan or forged metallic chairs which are OK for a few minutes but not really adequate for a near €1500 suite. All of us dont want to spend 8 hours in hot sunshine.A la carte restaurants were very good but the buffet was poor and room service menu severely limited. As a person of reduced mobility, there are lots of stairs to navigate, none of which have any hand railings.E-concierge is a little impersonal and not really the same as talking directly to the service provider who could have given up to date information on the relevant service. Very techie though to use WhatsApp for all communications though I guess. Sadly I did not make the personal connect as I had at IKOS Olivis before COVID.Finally they were undeserved with buggies as we often waited 30 min+ for a buggy and had to ask my son to go find me one from reception.Sounds like a lot of problems but honestly they were all silly niggles which detracted from my experience hence 4 stars rather than 5 as Olivia was 3 years ago.
I was not staying in the Resort…. But….. I was at the Beach and I ask to buy a small bottle of Water!!!I understand the policies… as I am working for Hospitality too….But when a Human or an animal…. Asks for water….. we could SKIP THE POLICIES!!!!!Please send my Congratulations to Your Management Team!!!!Hot regards,A Thirsty Visitor!!!
The best hotel, service and restaurants Ive experienced. Staff are so friendly and the beach location is idyllic - definitely worth a go. 👍❤️
Best location for Ikos we have enjoyed so far (Olivia & Dassia previously). One request please Ikos - sort out people saving the sunbeds while they have breakfast. Unacceptable & really irritating. The one hour rule should not exist - no reserving, end of. Doesnt match your 5* reputation.
Adeel, ilias (chef), masood (chefwere amazing!! They all went above and beyond to make sure our meal was amazing. I would highly recommend flavours restaurant at IKOS ARIA.
Amazing staff and the ambience in general is wonderful just like in the other Ikos hotels. Food is very delicious as well and a very big variety.
Ikos Aria is situated in the most beautiful setting, the sunsets and views are amazing. A very romantic setting too, the small island visible from the hotel has a church where you can see the bride arriving by boat to her awaiting groom and guests. All of the restaurants’ decor is stunning not to mention the food. The rooms, staff, views, food etc are all exceptional, and the gym is state of the art. A days free car hire and dining out to another restaurant is included too, as with the other Ikos hotels. Plenty of sports and good pools to keep everyone busy.
Great staff and food. The all inclusive is very comfortable. Only downside if you plan to play tennis, it is very frustrating since you are permanently in a wind tunnel with a carpet-like surface that does not help. Overall a very pleasant holiday.
Felt thoroughly spoiled and rested. All the staff especially pool staff and staff in Ouzo restaurant fabulous. Food amazing.
World class, overall the best hotel we have ever been to, the personnel here are incredible and really go out of their way to make your holiday extra special! Looking forward to returning in the near future!
Fantastic hotel, service and staff. Will definitely return here!!!
Hello there,My wife and me could not wait to post a comment till we get home, so i am writing this review on a relaxing pool chair at the Ikos Aria Beach pool.Weve already been to different five stars resorts and hotels around the world (f.e. Marriot in Asia, Lux* in Mauritius, and a bunch in Europe during winter and summer season), but category "Staff and Service" in this resort is really next level compared to the other resorts/hotels. You will have to stay here to exprience it yourself.A big bonus for the management to keep their whole staff, from cleaning lady, to gardener, or to waiter so motivated and kindly to all their guests included the little ones. I think the Ikos management are only recuiting people with a warm heart, because nothing looks fake. It seems that everything is coming from their hearth. Or is it the greek mentality... Or like they would say at Ikos: "The Ikos familly mentality", we will never know...Also a special thanks to the guests relation manager "Margeret", who we accedently met at a restaurant and who made our holiday much more special and luxurious, just because she wanted to..I have little to none remarks, the rooms, location, pools, beaches, activities, shows, food and restaurants are 5 stars worthy for sure.Of course if you look and search you will always find something to improve, nothing can be perfect at all time, but Ikos Aria is very close to it, so its not even worth to mention. If i really need to add something to improve in the future is:- to add some decorations in the cocktails / Making them more "instagramable".- Provide some energy food and drinks in the fitness area. Now there is only water.- Provide some (self servicewater tastes at the pools and beaches. (Lemon,...).- Asks guests if the courses at the restaurants needs to follow fast or slow. (Some of the staff did, sometimes we had to ask ourself to slow down a bit). Couples with children probably want to diner fast, couples without want to take their time and enjoy their diner. The staff is so experienced and well guided, that everything works like a train but in some cases it works a little too good :).We are still here for 3 more days, and im sure we will enjoy is till the end.
The whole resort is exceptional, the grounds are beautifully maintained with amazing restaurants ,the pools and beach are all spotless. My wife and my room was a triple room in the main building with a side sea view overlooking the main pool, the views were brilliant .My son, his wife and three children were in the deluxe area in a bungalow with its own pool, which was ideal for a young family. All the restaurants are Al a carte and the food in each restaurant was excellent.Buggies were available to take you to all locations around the resort which made getting around very easy. One of the many pleasing aspects of the ikos resort was the staff, we have never been to a complex were all the staff from top to bottom were so pleasant, they could not do enough for you and the manager of the customer relations was exceptional.Everything about the whole holiday experience at ikos Aria on the island of Kos was the very best,, thank you to everyone at the hotel we definitely be returning.
What a wonderful place to stay. We had a fantastic holiday with our 1 year old boy including excellent care at the Creche, great food, live music and beautiful surroundings.1.Special thanks to Vanessa from the Mini Market, who was so lovely and made our visits so special, we already miss you!2. a big thanks to the cooks taking care of the buffet - we actually ended up going there instead of the restaurants because the food was stunning and the selection changed every day!Cant wait to go back again - thanks!
Amazing resort. The hotel staff cannot do enough to help and it is amazing for kids. My 3 year old loved the kids club but the creche wasn’t as good. The staff didn’t seem to manage the babies quite as well as the older kids. Rooms, pools, gym are all exceptional as was the food.
We have just returned home after our second ,visit the staff so-well dressed. the service is outstanding .The man gent are so helpful and professional drinks are served so well and the cocktails are work-of art the-food is out standing wait you see the sweet trolley “o” my goodness no other word but a beautiful work of art ,cannot wait to go back.
This was our second holiday to Ikos Aria, having stayed here in August 2019, this year was our first non UK holiday since then. We arrived with expectations high because 2019 was so good, but this year was even better. From the moment you arrive the staff try to make your holiday as relaxing as possible. Make sure you organise your restaurant bookings before you go, our favourites were the Asian restaurant Anaya, the Italian Fresco and Ouzo for lunch by the sea and a view of the blue church on the Island. Plus the head waiter there Giannis was awesome, he made us fell special each time we ate there looking after all our needs. We were in the deluxe area, which is well worth the extra cash and Karina who heads up the team there was amazing she went above and beyond to make everything seamless and TBH just perfect. We will be back - when you have the perfect holiday why wouldnt you?
Superstar staff made us feel like we were the stars of a movie about us.The secret of their success is the staff who make you feel very special.
This place is actually paradise!!! I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff really made the holiday something special; from the front of house, the cleaners, to the security staff everyone was so welcoming and helpful. I wish I could remember everyones names to thank them all in writing but I would have spent the whole holiday writing a list of excellent staff members. Special thank you to George for going out of his way to make everything perfect! We also had excellent service from Niki in Seasons. There was another gentleman whos name I unfortunately cannot remember who assisted my husband when he hurt his foot and kept checking up on him throughout the stay! Massive congratulations to you all for doing such an outstanding job. I wish we never had to leave but have no doubt that well be back!
We had a wonderful vacation here. All the food was perfect. Nice and friendly staff.Only down side was the deluxe room service. Took way too long and hot dishes were always cold. We stopped ordering from room service.Lets blame this on startup issues. We will certainly come back here.Highly recommended
There are just not enough words to describe what an amazing resort this is, the food, the service, the facilities and the large comfort rooms, all are at the highest level. Can’t wait to visit again next year.
We have just spent a wonderful 10 days at the Ikos Aria hotel in Kos. It is our second stay and we have to say it is a truly amazing hotel and in our view one of the very best 5 star hotels in the world we have stayed in. The rooms are light, modern and airy and the hotel gardens are simply stunning. The hotel is set in a beautiful bay with plenty of well spaced sun loungers. There are great sports facilities and a super selection of restaurants each of which is to the same very high standard. The concept of all inclusive often fills us with fear of where a hotel will cut corners but it is absolutely not the case here. The 24 hour room service was fabulous and the cocktail bars as good as high end london restaurants. We had great fun trying some of the huge range of wines. In addition to the stunning facilities the staff in the restaurants and bars really do make this place special. Almost without exception we got superb efficient friendly service and nothing was too much to ask for. 100% we will be back next year.
The most beautiful resort, everything about this place is excellent. The staff are super friendly and efficient, despite the size of the resort you are made to feel really special.Big thank you to Isik and Vasilis especially!
One of the best places for service that we’ve ever experienced. Impeccably attentive staff, always smiling and no request is ever too much. Lots of great facilities and entertainment. Clean modern rooms and clean well kept resort. Drinks are amazing, though Aria may want to get a little more consistency between the bar tenders as one old fashioned differed to another depending on who made it. Mike who regularly serviced the Lobby Bar had it right. One point lost because of the food. The restaurants are supposed to be Michelin inspired, however I feel, whilst the Greek themed ones were good (you’d bloody hope so in Greecethe others needed a lot more work. As an example, in Fresco, the carbonara was made with cream based sauce and and in Anaya, the cooking of prawn and chicken skewers was way over so they were rubbery and dry in texture. There were other issues too which I won’t go into here. Hope they can address aspects of the food.
Very nice hotel with attentive staff and a beautiful setting. One of the best hotels 🏨 we visited the rooms are amazing and the service as well. The restaurant choices are exemplary we basically had a different restaurant every day. The kids loved it as well and the sports and activities are very nice and most of it free. We will for sure visit other Ikos hotels as well.
Amazing resort and a true luxury all-inclusive experience. Fantastic professionalism and friendliness among all the staff especially Margret from guest relations. A true gem.
I have recently returned from a fantastic two weeks staying at the Ikos Aria in Kos. I feel I need to set the scene a bit here. I have been fortunate to be able to stay at other luxury 5 star resorts such as the Excellence Playa Mujeres in Mexico or the Lux resorts in Mauritius who both pride themselves on being luxury all inclusives with high levels of service and cuisine. The Ikos Aria beats them hands down. From the moment you arrive at the lobby you are greeted and seated with a lovely glass of bubbly while your documents are checked and the resort is explained to you. We had the lovely Elina who was very chatty and made us feel very much at ease. She offered to book our restaurants for us and also arrange spa treatments or the Mini hire - my partner had already done all this in advance through the Deluxe concierges but it was good to be offered this. The resort is large so Elina then took us through the resort map so that we could get our bearings and she showed us where all the need to know places were. Our room was ready on arrival and George escorted us to our deluxe garden view room in one of the buggies they have, again he was very friendly and chatty and made several jokes. He showed us around the room after he brought our bags in.The room itself was well appointed with very large bed, sofa, luxury bathroom, well stocked mini bar, and terrace with sun loungers and parasol. As you would expect their was also Wi-fi - but what I didnt expect was that it was lightning fast. The mini bar in our deluxe room was re-stocked daily and if you wanted anything different you could just whatsapp the deluxe concierges or drop by their desk in the deluxe lobby where they were only to pleased to help you.I feel at this point I need to talk about what sets this place apart from other hotels - the service! For want of a better word it is exemplary. The majority of staff there are from Greece and they all joked with us that it is just Greek hospitality when we asked why it was so good, but it really does set this hotel apart. It took me a little while to work out what it was in particular that was different from other resorts and it finally dawned on me, the staff make you feel like family, and not in a trained way, in a very genuine way. A great example of this was Fani one of the excellent deluxe concierges. We had a minor issue with our shower not draining properly and when we told her about it she genuinely looked upset that this had happened to us. Needless to say she arranged for it to be fixed while we were at dinner and when we returned there was a bottle of champagne on ice for us as an apology. She t
This an excellent all inclusive beach resort hotel; newly refurbished in 2019, 5 pools, 6 restaurants, many bars, really fantastic food and drink, great location and lovely, very attentive staff. I really enjoyed using the beach club, gym and fitness classes (Pilates and Yoga), there are so many other classes and activities but you will be hard pressed to find the time to do them all. A days free car hire with a Mini Cooper was also included which was great to allow us to see more of the island. My son went to a local kite surfing school (its a challenging extreme sportwith a steep learning curve!I travelled with TUI as a package holiday; travel due to Covid is not so easy, having support was important for peace of mind.
I honestly admit that time spent at Ikos Aria was the best vacation we had for a very very long time. The quality of service was superb, staff members are very professional and welcoming. We were nicely surprised by the upgraded room (the view was amazing!and all those surprises and little details prepared by the team for my wifes birthday. Dinner on the beach was a unique experience! Great thanks to Margaret who is definitely able to arrange everything you may imagine and beyond (sky may not be the limit here :)), and all that with vivid energy and smile that is really contagious! We definitely recommend the wine tastings at Provence restaurant. We spent a very valuable time with Athena, who is a great person and has a vast knowledge about wines, thought us a lot of new things and recommended a cool vineyard to visit in Kos. And on top of that Asterios added a nice, personal touch to our stay - having conversations in our native language was quite fun :)Remember to book dinners in advance, so that you dont miss any of the foodie experience.
An amazing Resort which topped our expectations! Everyone is super friendly and the really have a solution for any problem. Big big thanks to Margaret, who organised beautifully our stay. We usually never go to a resort twice, but here we will definitely!
Starting with the arrival moment, we experienced a fantastic stay at the Ikos Aria Resort. The staff was super welcoming and gave us always the feeling to be the most important guest. The rooms were beautiful designed and in great shape with amazing views due to the amazing setting with the beaches and the opposite island. The various food options were delicious and diverse. We will definitely be back!
From the greeting at the airport to the transfer at the end, the level of service was amazing. As an example, our 9-month old baby had a severe allergic reaction to something she ate at breakfast. We were on the beach when we noticed it and the staff couldn’t have been quicker to react. They immediately radioed for a buggy to collect us and take us to the in-house doctor in the main building. The doctor quickly diagnosed the problem and administered antihistamines and cortisol. We were then provided with transport to the hospital, accompanied by an interpreter to help us at the hospital. I have absolutely no idea how we would have navigated the hospital without her. The level of care and attention we got was more than I ever expected. I have to thank all the staff who helped us that day from the bottom of my heart.Aside from that, here are my pros and cons of the hotel in general:PROS* Every single member of staff is super friendly, helpful and hard-working.* There is good wifi everywhere - even on the beach!* The hotel and rooms are really high quality and tastefully decorated.* It’s very baby- and child-friendly. There are loads of high chairs, baby pools, step-free access etc.* The service on the beach is great - loungers, towels, drinks, snacks etc.* The beach itself is pretty nice with very shallow water which is great if you have kids.* Good choice of restaurants and even some outside the hotel.* Pretty respectable gym with free weights and lots of machines.CONS* The fruit in the restaurants is generally unripe. We thought the fruit in Greece would be fantastic so this was a bit of a surprise.* The food in the restaurants is not bad but it’s a little formulaic and a lot is pre-prepared as far as I can tell. Not surprising given the number of people they have to serve. One week is the longest I could handle it before seeking out restaurants outside.* Cocktails in the bar weren’t great.* The hotel is brand new so the planting is fairly immature. But I’m sure it will grow into something nice eventually.Overall, this is an excellent luxury hotel with fantastic service that I’d happily go back to.
I usually dont review hotels on internet but this hotel was so great that it deserved a bit of my time to say how thankful I was of the quality of service especially Panos that made sure our stay was perfect in any point. The food, the facilities everything was at the best level possible. Relax time guaranteed for families and god knows how much we need these moments to be great given how rare they can be sometimes.I have been too many hotels this type from the same group but also elsewhere and none was as good thats for sure. I cannot wait to be back next year.
We just spent ten nights at Ikos Aria. Last year we were already in Ikos Oceania. The Ikos Aria is a dream! Once Ikos, always Ikos. You cant go on another holiday once youve got to know the fantastic food, the attentive service and the cordial nature of all the hotel staff! We dont know a better hotel. Special thanks to Liza from the guest relation. She read every wish from our eyes and made this stay a real dream vacation! The rooms are brand new and were very clean every day. The food in the a la carte restaurants is highly recommended! It is also worth booking the deluxe area if you want to experience something special and enjoy every day in an a la carte restaurant including private dinner on the beach.Especially with children, this hotel is very recommendable, as here, whether in the Kids Club or in the restaurants, the children are lovingly looked after. We can also only report positive things about the massages and wellness treatments. Twice we had a very relaxing back massage and a pedicure with shellack. Everything super and not pushy.A little tip: if you should go on a trip with the hotel minis, ask for a packed lunch, towels and a cool box. We never had such a rich packed lunch and so many drinks before. It was great!
We stayed 5 nights at the Ikos Aria. It was absolutely amazing. The hotel is beautiful. The location is great. But the most impressive thing in Ikos hotels is the culture they have developed. The service is perfect - friendly (but not too much), efficient, and straight forward. It makes you feel comfortable. It is generous, diligent and polite. The hotel is spotless. Floor is always sparkling. The pools are clean. The room is clean. I have no idea how they manage to keep the paved roads where many people walk every day so clean. The beach is probably the cleanest beach Ive seen. The way they manage to maintain their property is unbelievable. On our first day, Margaret from the guest relations remembered my name, and honestly wanted to make sure that we are happy. I was the first guest every morning for a quick coffee at the main restaurant and Jenny welcomed me with a smile, and proposed what I wanted before I asked for it. We always felt that the team honestly want us to be happy and enjoy and will do whatever they can to make sure we have a great vacation. They succeeded, and we are thankful for that. Kudos! Please dont change.
Amazing resort , your treated like royalty from the moment you arrive , the staff are out of this world, they cater for your every need!!! , it was luxurious without fault, I fell in love with some members of staff and I really was sad to leave, Paris played a big roll in our stay being by the beach pool, the bar staff made amazing cocktails all day long Andreana was a lady who smiled all day along side Another beautiful lady Isis, and an amazing guy Laurence who made sure we always had a bed and dry towel before we ever had to ask , if I could remember more names I would put them all up because every single member of staff smiled all day long, not only when looking after your every need or playing with the kids but even just to walk past they had a real smile. The atmosphere is unimaginable, it’s spotlessly clean with everything you need in one resort x I love the memories made for my 3 boys and I this August! Priceless!
Food, drink, service and more importantly staff were excellent. Restaurants and facilities in general were great. What isnt luxury is the rush to secure pool or beach loungers with shade in the mornings. Late comers are left in the sun. What also isnt luxury is the lack of availability in some of the restaurants so obviously not designed for the capacity. For some you have to make your bookings before you arrive which isnt very relaxing.
***Where do I start***To the AMAZING IKOS Aria group - THANK YOU - so much for the most memorable, relaxing & blissful week our family has ever had on a family holiday. The hotel is high class with the most amazing views of the sea.I cannot put into words how stunning the place really is - I feel one must go there to experience the culture, environment and atmosphere to capture its true beauty. The Room: Spotless, spacious & located perfectly near everything with a view of the sea. Room service 24/7 with kids is just superb! The Food - Top class, there was something for everyone. Seasons was especially our favorite. Book in advance not to miss out as it is AMAZING!!!The Pools - The splash park is great for the kids of all ages. The Entertainment - Kids had a great time as did the adults. The outdoor style theater was incredible, the singers/dancers were brilliant and Stephanie was great with the kids - they were included in their shows which made their day!!!The Staff - Couldnt do enough for us & never said no!!!The buggy drivers - So polite and always so helpful!!The Activities: Plenty to do for kids & adults especially the paddle boats out to the little island where the kids rang the bell was so worth doing. The bikes were also so much fun and a great way to see the entire resort - but book early each morning (9amnot to be disappointed. We would like to thank all the staff at the hotel for their hospitality , nothing was a problem and they never say no to request. We will certainly be back very soon.A special shout out to:Paris - For his famous mocktails and totally spoiling us by the pool.Elenni - Who welcomed us and looked after us during our stay for anything we needed no matter what it was. She is genuinely a wonderful person and a great asset to the IKOS Aria customer service team.Last mention to the hotel concierge for going above & beyond & sending our friends RayBan sunglasses to the airport by taxi as he had left them behind - we will never forget that deed and will always be grateful!!!
Really nice hotel. Lots of different things to do. Lovely island that you can swim to. The food was really nice. Lovely restaurants especially ouzo with its beautiful views and its fabulous food. Shoutout to the ouzo manager Giorgia, she was really kind and really helpful. Overall we had a fabulous stay.
It is a beautiful place, set on the coast of a bay with a series of islands close off shore, one of which with a small building (?church?just a short pedalo trip away. The beach is sandy at one end and a mix of sand and stones towards the other. We spent little time at the beach as our wee ones (7+5preferred the pool. The pools are beautiful too. Although there is an indoor pool and an adult deluxe pool, we did not use these. The deluxe main pool is a beautiful set up with a shallow entry and a deeper infinity section encircling an island, accessible by 2 bridges. Our girls had loads of fun splashing swimming and jumping in from all directions. Kids pools are shallow and perfect for little ones. We mainly used the main beach pool for access to aqua aerobics and again it was lovely. Both our kids used the kids club. This was age stratified and close to reception. Quite distant from the deluxe area but our little ones loved it. It proved a good way to make friends. Indoor and outdoor activities were all included. We also used the gym facility. It was small but well appointed. Running machines, cross trainers, weights machines and free weights. It was very popular with lots of very fit people in the resort! We particularly liked the training sessions, Pilates, yoga, cross and circuit training, which were on daily.I think the food will have been well covered already by others and is fantastic throughout. I don’t think it would be justifiable to criticise the catering at all.Bookings in the restaurants was required and there wasn’t much spare capacity. That said, if you are happy to sit inside, there was always room. The quality of the restaurants was very high and don’t discount the buffet restaurants as these also provide a great spread and may actually be better for kids than the a la carte options, which to be fair do feel more exclusive. Our favourite was the Ouzo restaurant on the beach side of the deluxe area. Beautiful views and a buffet breakfast and lunch service. Don’t worry about the food, whatever you like these guys will be able to sort you out. There is evening entertainment every night with a show put on by professional performers. Themes like musicals, blues brothers, 70s/80s/90s which, in comparison with other resorts we have been to was streets ahead, but even so was largely for the enjoyment of the kids, who love it and love dancing then having photos with the cast.Although there is later night entertainment including a night club and DJs, we didn’t use that at all.A stand out feature of this resort is the level of service. All the staff were amazing. They are clearly routinely trained to greet you in the same was, whenever you encounter a staff member. I don’t think I have ever been said hello to as much in my life as on this holiday. That said, this friendly and warm approach radiates throughout the resort and results in an amazing atmosphere. You do feel that they are genuine and eager to help. Right from the front desk staff, through pool staff, gym staff, even ground workers and security the approach is the same. In some ways, it is this all enveloping level of service which defines the experience you receive at this place.Clearly this is an expensive option and will be beyond many. In addition, if money is no object it is likely that more exclusivity is probably available (bear in mind we booked with Jet2!). With that in mind however, if you can afford it, I have no hesitation in recommending the Ikos Aria. Indeed, I would say wherever you see the name Ikos you will be in for a great holiday. The level of service provided is top notch, and all other aspects of the resort maintain that standard in my opinion. I really couldn’t fault the place at all and we will be back next year.
Whilst we are currently here having a lovely time nothing is too much for the staff. In particular Paris around the Beach pool and Margaret at guest relations / front of house are so helpful and friendly, they are real assets. The kids are ordering ice creams, drinks and crisps the whole time and the nicest thing will be when we leave I won’t have a massive extra’s bill like other hotels. Great place and whilst it’s very early days having only opened a couple of weeks ago we have been very impressed
