Iguanas Ranas Cantina - Mexican restaurant in Texas City, United States
Excellent food and service! Mixed drinks and beer offered. Plenty to choose from and plates were full!
Great food. Stuffed avocado with chicken is super good! The staff is nice. Soup and salad are really good. And they serve adult beverages!
Great food! Very good and flavorful!!
A constant in community, great food and excellently attentive wait staff. Social distancing; protocol might be tighter.
Food and service has improved greatly. Food is as ordered and delicious, fast service. Everyone working here is wearing masks which I highly appreciate.
REALLY good Tex-Mex, friendly staff, COLD beer and lots of TVs for watching sports.
Great service and good food for a fair price. It gets busy but not over crowded. The servers are friendly and so personable. They have BOTH GREEN AND RED salsas for chips. Huge tv screens so your sports enthusiasts wont have to miss their event either. Its Casa Fiesta on palmer hwy check them out.
Visited here with a local. Food was good and service was great. Prices were decent too.
Love this new Mexican restaurant in Texas City. Food, drinks, service were all great. Will definitely go back!
This restaurant has very good food and always fresh. Never disappointed here. Staff is preoccupied at times.
Really Delicious. Fresh & Clean. Diverse menu. Great prices. Pretty decor. Authentic sauces. You wont be disappointed. Chili Relleno huge & tasty.
I wish I could leave a zero star review I came here last year and had amazing service this year it it was horrible. There was no one in their beside us and our waiter took 20 minutes to ask what we wanted to drink then 40 minutes to refill anything while she was off on her phone and the manager just blew everything over his shoulder we didnt even get to place our orders until after an hour had passed since arrived I am never coming back
Food is great! Service is hit or miss some days its terrible some its fine.
Not too bad. Definitely not the best TexMex Ive had. But, not the worst either. My wife and I do eat here occationly.
Food is great! Service is fast! I can get in and out on my lunch break
The food we excellent, service was okayStaff very nice and good. We kept running out of our drinks.
Nice food. The waitress missed one of our drink orders. Authentic Mexican decorations and people, and delicious food.
Great food and awesome staff.Best Mexican restaurant in town.
Very clean with very respectable food. A must if you are in this area. Very good beef fajitas and cheese enchiladas. Their sopapillas are cooked fresh and something else. They have great queso also. Atmosphere is hard to explain. A little more catered to the drinking crowd being so close to Kemah Boardwalk.
Great food and drinks ♥️
Good food, great atmosphere, and wonderful staff.
Its a weekly dinner place for our group of 10...food is great as is the service...if youre in the Texas City area you should give them a try... I will try to post some dishes in the weeks ahead...
First time there and will go back food was awesome service was great do recommend
This is a good place to eat Mexican food . They have a good variety of Mexican food . They have tacos , enchiladas and beans and rice with lots options with different sauces . They also have a good bar with lots of different drinks like margaritas , mixed drinks to beer on tap . The waitstaff are really good and very friendly.
Best kept secret in Texas City as far as Tex-Mex goes. The green sauce actually has chunks of avocado and is the best Ive ever had. The price is good, atmosphere is cozy, and the Pollo Jalisco I ate blew my mind!!
Always clean, friendly and fresh!! We enjoy eating here alot!
The vegetarian or seafood options are kind of limited. Okay once they got done with their meeting in the back service was okay prior to that I wasnt sure if anybody was working.
It was a nice clean restaurant and they had good food and nice workers.I would recommend it to anyone.
The food was great and the drinks were divine. Beef and chicken fajita for two and a Bahamas mama
Great food and Great service , my favorite location of them all!
First time visit. Had the combo enchiladas. Pretty good! A great way to try all the sauces. The verde salsa is really good! The regular salsa and queso is ok. Rice and beans werent too salty which was nice.
Good food but no Wi-Fi and not good service in big groups.
Its ok but expensive for the food you get. I like it better when it was Casa Ole a
I enjoyed having lunch here. Service was excellent! The food tasted great! Reasonably priced! Definitely will return!
Service was great, friendly staff, the manager visited the table to tell us about upcoming promotions. I gave two stars because the food. My tea tasted old so I had to switch it out for coke. Then when we got our food it was cold, and I mean refrigerator cold in some spots, almost like my food was taken out of the fridge and put in the microwave. The green sauce which is usually my favorite part about this place tasted like it had been opened the fridge for quite some time. We have been coming to this place since it opened and this is the worst its been. Its almost like they have given up because quality of food has gone way downhill.
Great food. A little pricey for what your are getting. Just Tex Mex.
Good drinks, good food, good service.. Very pleased. Definitely coming back.
If its good food, and a great staff this place has it. I like the burritos.
Great food and great service. Freshly preparedgreen sauce and salsa. Tacos were delicious and so were the beans and rice..
Great food and service. Love the hot and green sacue..
The did and services have gotten a lot better since the new manager has taken over. The staff is very friendly. The food is really good. One of my favorite places to eat for Mexican food and drinks for a very reasonable price. Definitely cheaper than Gringos. For basically the same food and drinks
Tacos are nasty. Too much grease. Very friendly service good drinks
Was not satisfied at all. Enchiladas were horrible. We asked for queso and when they brought it to us, it was barely even warm and very clumpy like it hadnt been cooked all the way. When we asked for to go boxes, I also asked for a small to go guacamole and sour creak, which I was not informed would be extra. Got the bill and it was $51.00 for three people even when getting our food off of the lunch menu. For the quality of the food, it definitely isnt worth that much. When I got to the front counter to speak with the manager about the situation, our waitress was just standing over the mangers shoulder complaining. I mean seriously come on Iguana Ranas, hire some people with a little more manners instead of these highly disrespectful and ghetto waitresses you have. And to top it all of, after everything was fixed and agreed on with the manager I still handed our waitress a tip because I know they make little to no money... and she just rolled her eyes at me, took the money, and walked away. Never again will I go to iguana ranas. They need a serious make over!
The lousy service and disorganized kitchen are going to kill this place. My party arrived at around 11:30, before the lunch rush. It took our server 10 minutes to bring chips and salsa - not a good sign. I ordered the Carne Guisada, which is served with hot tortillas (a must have for this dish). The server brought out our plates (food barely warmand said the tortillas would be "right out". 15 minutes later, my food was cold and I still didnt have any tortillas. I asked to see the manager, who apologized and offered to redo my meal. No thanks, just take it away please. I left disappointed and hungry. There are WAY too many good Mexican restaurants in Houston to have to put up with this kind of nonsense. If Iguanas Ranas Cantana cant even get basics like chips and tortillas right, they need to get out of the food business.
Service was good. Delicious food. Fish tacos were great!
Food is great service is spot on by far one of my favs
Such potential! Great food! Somehow they have staffing problems. There are a few regular waitstaff that are consistently helpful. As usual nobody met us at the door (happens regularlysometimes when the restaurant isnt busy it takes a good while to receive food. There is a language barrier too. I really wish they could work out these kinks. We keep going back because the food is worth it.
I went to the mew location in seabrook. Texas. Defenly we wont back. Service was terrible. For a mexican food it took us 35minutes for 2 enchiladas an 1 burrito. That was 1 pm and just 3 tAbles. I know now why that. Restaurant was almost empty. On saturday. WAitress was. Not good . We had to tell her to bring our silver ware. And refill our salsas
Great staff and food! We went to the new location in Pearland, and their Iguana Juice was spot on! And cheap! The stuffed avocado was excellent! Going back for happy hour.
Great food. Excellent service. The tortillas are fresh and taste homemade. I had the stuffed avocado and it was delicious!
