Im impressed by the friendliness of the Igongo Cultural Center Restaurant Staff! I went to the Restaurant with a group of travellers and we called to oder in advance via WhatsApp and the staff kindly took our orders, even confirmed which sides we wanted when information was missing from our side. The food was not ready at the time we requested but at least we got our food faster. I think it was really nice that they took our orders in advance. Also the waiters were attentive and very friendly.

Its really a good place to visit

Located in Biharwe, easily accessible on the main road from Mbarara to Kampala with both a nice buffet of local foods and international cuisines.

Lovely pool! Informative museum, great craft shop and a simple hike at the monument to learn about Mbararas heritage.

Nice swimming pool area n atmosphere around it in the evening time for drinks.

The hotel is beautifully maintained and the service and food were excellent. The nature and landscaping is magnificent and cultural center is truly spectacular. Probably one of the best c oubtry hotels I’ve stayed at.

Quite accessible and good scenery

Took 45 mins for our “ice coffees” to arrive which were actually lemonades. Then we waited an hour for food and when my margarita pizza arrived it had bacon and pineapple on it. I am vegetarian so I could not eat it at all. The menu completely misdescribes everything they offer. It was claimed that my pizza would have homemade mozerella and basil on it but it was tasteless and had burnt cheese.

When you vist Mbarara make sure you vist Igongo a cultural centre and museum in western Uganda. You can do hiking as well on the opposite hills and you will have a clear view of mbarara city and its beautiful nature !

Look no further than this to enjoy your stay in Mbarara western Uganda, a bit expensive in accommodation but you get value for money

Very great place. I stayed for 5days. Had timely meals. They have a friendly Gym instructor. Loved every not of it

Great service and prices are relatively good. Have cultural site with an African crafts shop, a children play park, tasty and affordable food, swimming pool, health club, gum and sauna and enough parking. They accept VISA cards. Not sure they do delivery. They are located next to a historical monument dating back in the early 1500s. About 12 mins drive from Mbarara town center.

Good place used to be my favorite in this area but they raised their rate. Not the value it once was.

I tried the buffet while passing through town. Although I am not a fan of buffets, it was good. Definitely enough vegetarian options to satisfy me. They also have a menu. I felt like a tourist while I was there, but folks were very nice.
