Idaho - Cafe in Cork, Ireland
Delicious coffee, fairly priced and lovely staff. Seafood chowder is delicious!
Nice selection of food on the menu. Tasted great.
Best breakfast eggs Ive had for a while,
Nice spot for lunch. staff so friendly
I drank the new coffee here and its very good
I ll begin by saying it was very busy when we arrived this morning shortly after 10 but the service was appalling. I ordered a scone , my husband ordered a breakfast bag along with coffees. The breakfast bap arrived and after 20 mins of waiting I went inside to see where my scone was. At this point my husband had eaten his bap. I explained to the girl making coffee that I ordered a scone 20 mins previously and my husband had already eaten his hot food and there was no sign of the scone. She gave me a filthy look and said rudely " ya Im the middle of making your coffee". No apologies for delays or anything. I genuinely have trouble understanding why a scone could not have simply been brought to table with my husbands food but thats minor compared to the rude attitude.
It was nice
Was here to get a quick bite to eat with my family and a friend, but was very disappointed in the service. Nobody seemed to have a clue what was going on, we were waiting close to 40min for a croissant and an extra 5 min for scrambled egg. When we asked how long more the food would be, we were asked what table number we sat in.The main insult was that a member of staff and/or manager asked our autistic daughter to keep the noise down (Shes 4 and pre-verbal). So this place is definitely not an autistic friendly establishment.Only positive was the food was nice.
Delish food, friendly staff.
My wife and I had brunch here on Sunday 10 June. It was our first visit, and it was a fantastic experience. The café is located on a quaint street in Cork which has been the subject of considerable renewal in recent years and now looks beautiful. There is plenty of attractive seating outside, and the inside is cosy and very nicely decorated. The brunch menu is great - reasonably priced and plenty of variety. The french toast was the best I have tried, and Ive tried a lot! Generous portion, too. The coffee was also outstanding. A mention must also be given to the very helpful and friendly owner. He seemed very invested in the quality of his food/beverages, and he lent a great sense of personality and warmth to the place. Highly recommended!
Lovely food quick seating very busy had 2 ask twice for table to be cleaned
Had really nice brunch here yesterday. We both had the French toast and it was delicious! The bacon serving was the best Ive ever seen, will definitely be back just for that! Nice coffee and the man working there was extremely friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend, especially if you can get an outside table 😊🌞
I dropped into Greenwich for lunch recently. I ordered a chicken quesadilla. It wasn’t great. It was lacking in flavour and had little or no chicken in it. The staff were friendly though
Lovely place with super friendly staff, food also is very good, ordered the fish pie and it was delicious, I must admit that I even the table near me had a delicious looking soup. I will come back to try the reuben sandwich!
Lovely relaxing evening, nice music and superb wines very cosy with great staff
Laidback Cafe, buzzing with people eating lunch or just having coffee & cake. Friendly staff to guide you through the short menu and long list of fresh cakes. Salad special was full of flavour and brown bread was freshly homemade. Delighted to see the institution on Caroline Street still going strong under new ownership.
Reputation speaks for itself. Youre missing out if you dont call in for lunch while in Cork.
