Ičići Beach - Public beach in Rijeka, Croatia
Very nice
Lovely little beach!
Beautiful Beach
There are better beaches. But here is a good place to go with kids.
So beautiful, clean and relaxed
Not the type of beach I prefer but much better than small beaches in the rocks around it and safer
One of the biggest beaches around.Parking is not free. You have the choice between pebble, concrete slabs and also you can rent the chairs with umbrellas.Only one minus water can be quite cold due to fresh water streams.
Great place for kids, parents, sport activities, good music and volleyball.
Cosy and easy to reach with childrens playground and beach wolleyball fields. Plenty of beach bars and refreshment spots.
Beautiful beach but please avoid during peek season while is overcrowded. Outside of main season you will find lot of different services around
The beach is pebble and its ok for children. Problem is lack of shade and the cold stream which goes in to the sea but kids will love it 😁 So if its not 40 degrees sea will be a litlle cold. Its close to marina and you can take a walk and look at the boats and have a drink. There is a parking with quite a lot spaces but you have to pay it.
It was nice the problem to get in and out of the sea. No properly made access stairs to enter.
Nice beach with restaurant, ice cream and beautiful park for little kids.
It is very average beach. just concrete and nothing to see underwater. this region has plenty of nice, breathtaking beaches, and this one is a very simple one just to freshen up or get tanned a little. its rally difficult to spend here more than 2-3 hours in a day. On the plus side: toilet, and local restaurants, drink bars at hand. But really nothing special, rather boring. during our stay it was our first stay, but we didnt come back there.
Not too busy. Good bars at reasonable prices. Regular bus service. Got to try the ice cream.
Crowded, though still okay for chilling. The inox slide is fun. The water seemed colder than elsewhere. We will not go again there this season. Parking machines didnt work, and we got ourselves a ticket. I would rather spend the money on ice-cream
First time here and definitely will come back once again.
Big sandy playground at the edge of the beach with a nice bar for parents to be able to keep an eye on their children and have a nice cup of coffee at the same time. A nice touch is the nearby yacht Marina to feast your eyes on the luxurious ships and boats. Parking is nearby but pricey and as someone who has visited yearly it gets pricier every year to the point of a rip-off
nice full place in the summer, great for children with playground, only parking places you gave to look little bit
Sport terrains, bars, kids playground, clean sea, but very cold due to cold fresh water wells. Almost no shade and usually crowded. Not enough parking space near the beach and no free parking. 10 kn/h nearest, other parking spots 6 kn/h.
Lots of nice food. has a plotline and alot of parking. beware that your car doesnt get stuck between 2 cars and you cant leave
Nice beach except the fact that showers and toilets are not free, coin-operated machine is charging 2 kn (0.25 €for service.Other than that its a good pebble beach with a few bars/restaurants, sea-doo rent shop, and a beach volleyball court!
A nice looking beach in a heart of Ičići. It has lots of caffe bars. There is no free parking lot near (as far as I know- and be sure to come early if you want to park near the beach at rate of 6 HRK per hour. Oh, and tipically for many beaches here in Kvarner near mountain Učka are cold springs that come into sea - this one is extreme though as today I was barely able to go for a short swim cause water was dead cold! It spares you a cold shower though! 😊 There is an upside however - you can access free Opatija WiFi as well as Eduroam and many of the caffe bars offer free WiFi as well so you can get a coffee and sync your Google Photos! 😁
Nice pebble beach with three nice coffees and one restaurant. Only two big problems:1. The water is extremely cold due to spring water flowing into the see.2. Only public toilets for which you have to have the correct coin or no toilet for you. The caffees and restaurant have no toilets of their own!
Great ambiance!!! And it has a wide range of activities that are all very nice. And the food stalls are very nice but a bit pricey
Well organized, has stuff to do, clean, but the beach has a bit too big and rough stones.
Very common and popular place. Good for swimming, but its not a beach I like spending time in. A lot of people, near to road. Good facilities like restaurants, rental of sun loungers and umbrellas, changing rooms, showers (paidand shops.
The place is cool because there is deep side of the sea and the shallow part of the beach for kids and there is 6 foot slide into the sea that you dont pay the beach is cool and i liked it so much❤❤
Nice beach on the east coast of Istra. Plenty of cafes to seat down and enjoy the day and view.
Great beach, especially with children. The slide to the sea is a bit high for young ones (my six-year-old rode it twice and didnt find it so fun the second time around when she slapped her thighs hard on the water surface). There are playgrounds, cafés and a beach volley court along the shingle beach.
Good place for walk and swiming.
The best beach in this area. Great for family with children. You can rent sunbed und umbrellas to, has a lot of coffee bars, ice-cream, the supermarket is 20m from beach, volleyball court, playground for kids...
Beautiful beach located closely to the city center. I would say that the beach is safe for the kids and that they would have a lot of fun on the public slide that leads to the sea.
Officially named the Franz Joseph I Promenade, it is still best known as the Lungomare. Dating back to the heyday of Opatija as a health and tourist resort at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the Lungomare was built in parts. The northern part, from Volosko to Opatija, was completed in 1889, the same year that Opatija was officially declared a climatic health resort. The southern part, connecting Opatija to Lovran, was finished in 1911
Excellent beach for families with babies and children all ages. There is everything - the playground, the pebble beach, fast food, cafés, restaurants, toilets. You can find some shade in trees too. We loved it.
very nice beach, small but fine. you have everything what you need for beach. clean and good service.
Peables and concrete public beach. Peables beach is very suitable for families with small kids. Showers and toalets are available for a fee (coins to be used). Cold, refreshing potable water at a well/sink is free of charge. Coffee shops, ice cream parlor, rent of beach beds, umbrellas are and other shops are located at the beach. Field for volleyball on sand, playground for kids and few other activities are available free of charge.
Very nice beach with well developed infrastructure and it was easy to find a parking place. We drove from Matulji and it was a good choice to stay there for a day :)
When i saw prices i thought i am in Monako ..
Fun place in the summer, great for walking in the winter. You can have a cappuccino outside even now. Public washroom s are 2 Luna, so keep some coins in your pocket. The walkway goes one way all the way to volosco, the other direction all the way to Lovran. Cafes on the way. Swimming in-between. Love it.
My favourite place for swiming in Icici, close to Villa Florida, and nice to walk
A lot of rocks and concrete, get yourself some sandals. Fun waterslide, and a couple of snack bars and beach accessory stores.
This is a great place for a holiday. It is also good with childrens.
Lots of amenities around but concrete slabs do not mean a "beach" for me. There are several real and nice beaches within a short distance.
Pretty dirty beach (we visited it during mid-summer, smelled like burned tires because of all the cars driving downhill. Between the pebbles one could find a ridiculous amount of cat poop. Very stinky.
A bit crowded and stones are not the best thing to seat on for hours. But yhe water... Its amazing! Warm and transparent with very beautiful sea life
This beach is actually two beaches in one. One is pebbled with a more shallow entrance perfect for families with smaller children, the other is a concrete slab with several stairs allowing for entry into a deeper part of the sea. The water is fairly clear and you can see the bottom for a rather long time, the incline seems to not be overly steep. You can also make use of a simple slide to enter the water if thats your preference. There is a small patch of earth beneath trees allowing for some shade, but the majority of the beach is under direct sun. You can rent a parasol and deckchair on-site for a not so cheap fee. Sadly, you also need to pay for the toilets and showers (2 HRK).Theres a few stands, cafés and a restaurant that offer food and drink. Its a nice enough beach but you can find others just as beautiful with free amenities, I wouldnt necessarily visit again.
The water here is very clean. The beach is not that bad and there is a beach volleyball court which you can use for free. The restroom facilities are payable. They cost only 2 HRK which is less than half an euro, but they are horrific.
Nice and clean beach
Very nice
