Teppanyaki chefs cook food tableside plus a separate room is available with sushi & a full bar.
Great place for a fun birthday experience! Hibachi dinner was excellent.
Outstanding Sushi, great bartenders too. Ive been here for hibachi and sushi on different occasions, cant go wrong either way. My #1 choice for sushi in Allentown.
For the price, the food was alright. The show? Almost worth it; it depends on the chef you get. Their frozen drinks are subpar, but you do get to ring a gong on your birthday.I would not recommend based on the food, price, and ambiance.
My first time ever at a Hibachi restaurant. I enjoyed my time there and the food was top shelf. Id definitely go back again.
A very quiet lunch. In and out quickly with good service and food. Very satisfying meal.
I absolutely love this place. The staff and chefs are all very kind and the chefs are very talented. I’ve always felt very comfortable in the environment and the food portions are very fair for the price. The food is always cooked perfectly and delicious are they are always able to accommodate to allergies or disliked ingredients. This is 100% my go to place
Quite good quality of food, enough portion (especially for donburi), nice staffs
Everything was great went for my birthday with my family and I always have a ball dining here.
This place is fun. The bathrooms could use a remodel but they were clean when i was there. The food at the hibachi grill ranged from noodles being okay to the grilled salmon being amazing! The sushi was really good, yet not the place i would go to for Sushi there are other places in the valley that are much better. You come here for a fun dinner and good food and you get that for sure.
The food was very good. The hibachi was a lot of fun to watch. Portion size is were huge! Enough for the next day. Sushi was good. We ordered just some of the California rolls and spicy salmon It was just okay. Staff was very friendly. We had reservations. They got us right to the table They were very quick and helpful.
Clean and friendly atmosphere. Hibachi was delicious and staff were very friendly! Definitely will be coming back here again.
Food was good, and staff was friendly! This was our first time visiting, and were kicking ourselves for not getting hibachi. The sushi was delicious, though! We plan to return and try their hibachi options next time!
ROACHES BEWAREWe just left in a hurry. There was a roach that crawled onto the menu while we were deciding our dinners. Thank goodness we saw it prior to placing or even worse yet receiving our dinner.
Not a great experience as I had in the past. Food changed... Restaurant was very cold and we even sat in thr hibachi area. Service was fast though but just hasnt been the same since change of ownership...Update.Tried it again after 4 years for a birthday. To my surprise they now add a service charge for parties 5 or more even if you split the check. Food was better but prices SKY ROCKETED! I paid 94 for two kids meals and an adult portion with that 18% service charge… sushi rice was very vinegary…
The hibachi meal was great! Loved the hibachi fried rice, salad, soup, shrimp and veggies.
Super chill bar inside by the hibachi and. The bartender I had was young but skilled and super polite seems like an odd place for sushi but I enjoyed it atleast also not a bad saki selection
Great food and service! Love you can also order hibachi from their dining room area.
This is the best place to eat, I have never had anything better in my life. It was an amazing show in how they made the meals, and the smell made you want to eat even more. It may be a little on the expensive side, but theses a good reason why.
Food was delicious, service was good considering how insanely busy they were, however Im only giving 4 stars because it was very expensive. $9 for a sweet potato roll!? Thats crazy
5/10/22 first time here. We sat in the bar area. Decent place, good service. We had the sushi for two. 17 pieces... Really? How come its not 18? Its for two. Should be an even number, right?Anyway, it was good. And a good selection of sake.
Food was good. Do yourself a favor and make reservations if you want to eat at the Hibachi table. Very friendly staff.
The food here was exquisite. Great service. Unfortunately the man who handled the Hibachi was a bit boring and tried to get through what he did quickly. Granted we were some of the last people there before they closed.
Worst hibachi in town. They’re racist and super inconsiderate. Had reservations for 8pm with my son when i get there they acted completely confused as if I never called. Then after we were seated my son and I waited an HOUR without being served food at that point I got up and left. Never going back to this dump again
Food was awesome! Great hibachi! I had the chicken and shrimp with veggies hibachi dinner with fried rice! You should of seen how I was eating the salad! That ginger dressing 😍. Man I am now a fan of clear soup rather than the miso soup! Still considered on the clock so I got the sake trio to sample raspberry, coconut, and pear! The raspberry and coconut 🥥 sake Was my favorites among the trio! Eel with creamy avocado sushi 🍣 always does it for me! Strawberry Ramune was pretty good! Totally try this place the next time your there promise you wont be disappointed!
Fun times. Excellent service. Very tasty food. All with a show. Extensive bar menu. Very many sake to choose. Delicious and delightful.
Ok so the family wanted to go to this restaurant for dinner. The waitress asked what we wanted for drinks. I asked for a hot green tea . The waitress bought out a soda glass with hot tea in it. And a fork to stir the sugar in the tea.....at first thought I thought it was time to just leave because the service was not right at all. A SODA GLASS WITH HOT TEA AND A FORK TO STIR WITH....I questioned the waitress and she said thats how she serves hot tea....not in a tea cup?it was so hot that glass could not be held. She told me that if I didnt like it so what complain to the manager.we had words and I will not suggest this place with anyone....as I write this another customer is complaining about something . If you want subpar food in close proximity to seedy hotels in allentown come here. Its apparent the clientele and customer service run hand in hand.this is a place where you get what you pay for. Bad food, bad customer service in a not so safe area.
Service was 5☆☆☆☆☆And food was delicious. It was my birthday and a party of 21. Not only service was on time, they were always enthusiastic and servers where always on the watch of the table. Chefs cook on front of the table and gave us a great "show"
In a word: YUM! Grady hibachi experience. Will absolutely be back. Nice clean table. Food was fresh, and we’ll managed on the grill. Chef was entertaining even with a full table.
The best place I have ever eaten at hands down. Every single time I come here with my girlfriend the food is flawless and they never make a single mistake. Their customer service is perfect and the place is very clean. If I could only ever eat out at one place the rest of my life it would be here.
Always like coming here food and service is always great
The hibachi experience is FANTASTIC! I would definitely recommend it. Its fun watching the chef cook the meal Infront of you. The only complaint that I have is that the Cooks drown your meal and teriyaki and soy sauce. So be prepared for your sodium to go through roof!
The food was really good. What we didnt like, that we were sitting together with strangers. Staff is very friendly.
We came to this place after another place wasn’t doing hibachi. First time visit for our sons 16th birthday and this place didn’t disappoint! Staff was friendly, food was excellent, and most importantly, very clean. We will definitely be back!
Great food, friendly staff. Consistently Great.
I enjoyed the the show and the food was pretty good. However, that all changed once I got to the bottom of my plate and found a human hair in my food. I was grossed the hell out! I definitely wont be returning here!
The chefs are very entertaining. Great place to celebrate birthdays and special occasions. We had the habachi. The mushroom soup is light and a nice appetite opener. The orange ginger dressing on the crisp salad is refreshing. The shrimp in the appetizer are plump and tasty. I chose the fried noodles that have a good grill taste. The fried rice is fluffy and well cooked. The scallops are very large and fresh and perfectly cooked. Steak came out medium as asked for. The grilled veggies have a nice snap to them. Everything is well seasoned. The portions are large. I recommend the premium hot sake. The staff was very attentive.Masks are required for staff, and guests who are walking in and around restaurant. Handicap entrance and parking.
This is my favorite spot in the Lehigh Valley to get sushi, just they also do some awesome hibachi as well. The food, the staff, the atmosphere, and the cocktails are all great. The prices are reasonable.
My family and I have been dining here for many years and Ive got to say that this is my favorite restaurant of all time. The atmosphere and service is always excellent and I have not once been unhappy with my meal.If youve never eaten here before I would recommend the Bento Box. Its about $22 but you get so much to choose from. The California rolls are made messy sometimes, but it still tastes pretty good! Will forever be a loyal customer <3P.S. I would kill for their teriyaki sauce and ginger dressing. Its out of this world! They seriously need a gift shop for that stuff.
Service was great, food was tasty and portions were big. I think we have enough to eat two more times. Would definitively visit again.
Ichiban is ok, just ok. A bit overpriced for what you get and sushi not chilled well enough. Few pieces were practically room temp. Ordered the Avocado salad with avocado sauce, there was no sauce. Pretty bland otherwise, just sliced avocado over iceberg lettuce. The Sushi for 2 should include some sashimi for the price, which should have been served on a chilled slab rather than just a plate. I have to say the seafood soup was very good! Maybe this is the place to go for hibachi only?Tokyo Sushi in Easton PA has nothing to worry about.
The food was average and the “show” was unimpressive. I ordered some fried gyoza for an appetizer. They brought it without dipping sauce. They brought some when I asked. It was cold. I ordered the Emperor’s Deluxe with Filet Mignon, Lobster Tail, and Shrimp. All of the items were soaked in teriyaki sauce. The steak wasn’t a filet. I questioned the cook and he stumbled over himself trying to explain the noticeable ribbons of fat in a “trimmed” strip steak. The vegetables were also soaked in teriyaki sauce. The fried rice lacked flavor.
This was our first visit. It will not be the last. We sat at the Hibachi table and had dinner and a show. The waitress that took our drink orders also explained the menu options to us. Our chef was both entertaining and a good cook. I had the Teriyaki chicken and it was very good. The Japanese salad and soup were also good. The fried rice was ok, but lacked seasoning. The calamari was thin and overdone to my taste. I deducted one star. It was still a very relaxing atmosphere and a very memorable dinner.
Weve eaten here several times after seeing a movie at the nearby AMC Carmike. The sushi is prepared fresh and they have a nice variety of rolls, hand rolls, sashimi, and specials. The photo in this review is the Lehigh Bridge, a mixed sushi/sashimi platter for two. We enjoyed the miso soup and salad with carrot ginger dressing that came with it. The wasabi here is strong and pungent, definitely a plus! Theres also a separate room with hibachi tables apart from the regular dining and bar area. We have not tried the hibachi. Their bento boxes and entrées are also very good. We would return, though have not registered for their frequent diner (VIPcard which is free and lets you earn rewards toward future meals. They are not pushy about signing up which is why we never remember to.
Great atmosphere, great food and great drinks! Our chef was funny, entertaining and very skillful. He alone, make you want to come again. It was a good experience for me and my family. My daughter celebrated her birthday and there were about 6 more birthdays that night so they know how to help you celebrate your birthday! Ichiban is awesome!
Ichiban is a tradition for birthdays in our family. The hibachi grill is always great and the sushi is some of the best in the Lehigh Valley. My favorite dish is the scallops. The staff is very friendly. We always have a great time. The kids love hitting the gong and spinning the wheel on their birthdays!
Ichiban was fun! We went here for my wife’s birthday with a large group of friends 22 people. We made a reservation to have 6 high chairs but they did not have enough for us, this was a bit disappointing. But we made it work. The food was great everyone enjoyed what they got and most had leftovers. The service was a little chaotic but with such a large group it was understandable especially since we had the check separated. The chefs were great and made it fun for the kids!!
Great show. Very attentive waiters. Atmosphere is really nice. Cooks are really into performing for us.But, the food is not as good. We ordered steak medium rare but received fully cooked meat.
I have been to many Hibachi places all over and this was the absolute worst! They cover all of your food in teriyaki sauce that over compensates all of the food and leaves your mouth tasting like sugar and leaves your meal unenjoyable. The kicker in all of this is that they DONT HAVE YUM YUM SAUCE, a staple of the modern era of hibachi. The chef was one of the best I saw and had a great personality and made ya laugh the whole time but the wait staff never showed up after dropping the usual starters to ask if we wanted a refill on our drinks. Don’t waste your time with this place.
Always a great experience. We love the bartender. We have been coming here for over a decade. The food is so fresh
It was a nice experience! The chef cooks n prepares the meal right in front of your table! The food was delicious, i even caught a piece as the chef tossed it to me haha.. I had a nice birthday dinner with my family!
